- After 4 months backpacking Southeast Asia (Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Indonesia) I am finally unpacking my bags and telling you everything I regretted bringing, wish I brought, and what I loved the most. This is everything I packed!
For reference these were the months I was in each country:

Can I ask how you switched between carryon and your big bag? Did you bring both?
sorry for the relayed response! I flying back to Bangkok after Bali so I left my luggage in luggage storage in my hostel in Bangkok. so I was able to pack my carry on back just for Bali! it worked out great.
Oh you know you can get contacts over there without a prescription
I didn't want to have to worry about it when I was away so I just brought enough to cover my time away
@@JennaBrown sure totally. what I do is get for instance dailies in another country in my rx. Lets say you fly from Canada to Asia check into a hostel 10 hrs later you can go to bed really fast take them out in bed not have to unpack case solution etc. Also If you run out need new glasses etc the process is super simple
