Red Rock Crossing in Sedona, Arizona also known as Cathedral Rock. This is a very special & sacred location for me. I have been here with many friends and our entire wedding party, less the flower girls. We took a LIMO here on our wedding day. Usually we park on the other side and hike in and along Oak Creek.
I have been going to Sedona, Arizona since I was 16 years old. Now over 40 years. I took my first love there in college 1989. Years later, I went there on my first date with my new boyfriend, who later turned out to be my beloved husband in 2004. We were married IN Sedona at the Church of the Red Rocks, not the famous tourist church also nearby. LIFELONG Friends from across the country joined us for the celebration. Followed by TOUR to the Grand Canyon....SEE VIDEO.
When my health began turning in 2007, I created this mural for my mother. My step-dad later installed this ceramic TILE mural at their home in the wall in the side garden. We were able to see this tile mural through the patio door windows. Originally got this IDEA as my mother has a few ceramic tile murals from Mexico in her garden and grows pyracantha around it. My youngest brother gave me my favorite comment and said, "Looks like a Kindergartner painted that!!" I said, "THANK YOU" and felt especially honored.
