I started walking to a grocery store that is one mile away. It saves on gas, let’s me get in some exercise, and prevents me from buying “extras”. Happy Weekend, Emmy/Paul and family!
Take left over rice, add an egg and flour, make a-rice patty, butter wrapper the pan, fry them, add maple syrup. Rice Pancakes for breakfast. My mother in law used left over rice like this. I liked it.
Our local Salvation Army won't accept any more donations. They are crying out for help so we will make a donation of time. And it's the height of gardening season. But several adult grandchildren are spending the summer between college semesters to continue learning how to work the land. They will help out at Salvation Army, too. This is a good reset for our family. Keep the no waste recipes coming! This is so important in today's times and really anytime. We like to dehydrate leftover baked beans and use them to crumble and sprinkle over mac & cheese, any casserole, and scrambled eggs. I never thought of making them into bean burgers. Great idea! We will try this. I love Charle's tip. I'm the plumber in my house and used UA-cam to help me install a new insta-hot system. Yay! It makes the bidet extra special, too.😊
My reboot is going to be to do more for myself before I hire somebody to do things for me. I'm a retired lady in my 70s and have gotten lazy about yard and household tasks and have a handy man and cleaning lady come in occasionally. I feel like I'm depending on them too much which can be costly AND frustrating. I see what happens to others as we age and give up our independence too soon because we won't try to do and think for ourselves! It might take me a little longer for me to do things than it used to and I have to break tasks down into smaller units. I can't mop and clean all my house in one day...but I can make one room shine before I wear out! ☺ 👍
Emmy and Paul, you have a gorgeous family! All the young adults are so polite, sensible, articulate and beautiful/handsome. Above all they practice frugality. It must be fun to have them around. I love the “living with parents until being kicked out” comment. My 3 young adult children are still living with us, we will not kick them out and they can stay as long as they want. I enjoy your reinvent meal ideas from leftovers. Thanks and more to come please! Since we have the blazing sun here in California, I’m drying my heavy laundry in the yard now.
What a gorgeous family. Can't wait to try the baked bean burgers. I'm a vegetarian so i will leave out the bacon. Such easy and delicious looking burgers, no need for 20 ingredients like in some cookery books. Your channel should be on prescription, fills me with joy when ever I watch.😘😘😘😘😘
After a busy few months just staying home is great, and as a plus I am saving on gas. Although I'd like to go away I don't have the money for a vacation so trying to do things at home that are peaceful and relaxing, like watching UA-cam videos. 😃, reading, taking a bubble bath, watching a show or movie with a snack, sitting on my deck, catching up on some home tasks. Fun segment with your family, they all seem lovely.
I just joined a local "no buy" group and will be decluttering and gifting out some items I no longer need or want. Also I am challenging myself to use up perishable goods. Today I used up perishables/ and using best/before date/leftovers items up because there is loss leaders that I can replace them with this weekend (eggs & mushrooms). This is what I made today. A spinach, mushroom, tomato, cheese quiche (6 slices), 6 Ground beef pies, onion, potato, 1/3 can of mushroom soup, and mushrooms (6), and 6 butter tarts). I used 1 &1/2 boxes of pastry dough was close to best before date that I got on clearance for a steal. The cost of the ingredients was @$5 CAD ($3.91 USD for 12 small meal serving and 6 buttertarts. I put some into freezer for lunches. Tomorrow I will be making banana muffins and apple/pineapple squares to use up the rest or perishables. We will have a small grocery haul this week. Have a great weekend!
THey really are a beautiful and smart group! Poor Charles! You will NEVER forget his name again! This month, if the sun is shining I am hanging my clothes on the line. In early spring I was very motivated then got lazy.I am also going to try to not buy ANY lettuce, between the CSA that starts at the end of the month and our garden-.lastly I am going to try not to buy any new books not even used ones. THose are my 3 for the next month. Thank you for your lovely ideas and inspiration- Paul's burger looked delicious- good job, Emmy!!
Dear Emmy this is portugeese Maria from Ontario Canada I also save food and freeze lots of veggies from my garden im also an earlier retier lady like you and Paul we don't eat out I love to cook and you are an inspiration for lots of us who love to cook and save..❤
We went shopping yesterday for relatives that we are visiting in August . Because they live in a poor country where there is a lot of need I was able to buy every single item on sale way below the price. After Valentine's I got all rag dolls for $1 they will make a few kids happy. Blessings for your family
I usually save the buns, then for an easy dinner, I put either pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce, onions ,chopped pepperoni and what ever else such as cheese, peppers etc. Bake in oven for about 25 min. Pizza burgers! Grandchildren love making theirs "there way"
The car & home maintenance is huge! My husband has saved us tens of thousands by doing repairs and renos himself. He was just at our daughter's yesterday to replace a broken belt & a few other things. None of the young people she knows can do anything like it. My husband taught our kids the basics so she can change her oil and tires etc. None of her housemates can even do that. It's crazy.
My reboot is to recycle unusual things that would normally go in the trash right after emptying. For example potato chip bags. I give them a quick wash and let air dry and use them to store washed produce. I have also put my salad bowl inside to keep the salad fresh when I have made the salad ahead for my meal. I am trying to eliminate the use of plastic wrap so I've been getting creative. I also cut open bread bags and use them to cover things going into the refrigerator. When making homemade bread I reuse the bread bags from bread that I have purchased from the store. It's rather fun to think outside the box when trying not to use plastic wrap.
What a delight to meet your family. Did your brother and his wife homeschool their children? My husband and I homeschooled our 4 children. We, too, have taught each of our children to budget every dollar, thrift shop, learn how to do repairs... They seemed kindred spirits. ☺️
What a great video. I loved seeing your family's responses. I am moving to a new home. So we are revising our grocery budget; focusing on eating up odds and ends in the fridge and freezer and only buying produce when needed. I am also not buying any boxes, just using and reusing what we have in hand. Thankfully, the new home is a few miles away, so I can unpack a few totes, and bring them home to reuse over and over again. I can't wait to try that bean burger recipe!
Laura is right! Do what you feel comfortable doing on your car instead of paying a mechanic. I don't change my own oil because I wouldn't know how to dispose of the oil, but just last summer the mechanic who does change my oil gives the car a good once over and said I need new air filters. I have a friend who is very handy and asked him if he could do it with my assistance and he said sure. (I convinced him with the promise of a spaghetti dinner complete with salad and bread. :) ) Anyway, we spent an hour working on it and I saved plenty of money I'm sure. Also, my interior rear view mirror decided to fall off the windshield a couple of years ago and I just couldn't imagine paying to someone to put it back on. I went online and bought a kit to do myself and I did. Again, I'm sure I saved quite a bit of money. Brakes I might not do, but little things I certainly will. Your family is lovely and I'm sure you loved spending that time with them. I'm going to work on shopping the pantry again this month. I really don't need to buy a lot of stuff to make decent meals. So I'm going to work on that this month.
Sorry, but this is the first time I disagree with your advise to get rid of clothing you didn't want in the past year. Keep some of those clothes as your spare clothes for when money gets real right and you cannot afford to replace your clothes because of inflation. Use those undesired clothes as your work clothes around the house or garden.
What a beautiful and wise family!! Thanks for letting us hear from them. Loved the library tip especially! My re-boot in the summer months is to take stock on how much we relied on canned food from our garden over the past year and to adjust my canning goals/ items accordingly. Thanks again for your wonderful channel --- God bless!
What a wonderful family! And I must try your baked bean burgers this summer! My reboot is to eat at home more. We have gotten into a bad habit of grabbing dinner while we are out running errands on Saturdays and I know it's costing us. My idea is to plan a couple of Saturday evenings a month to have friends over for a potluck meal - or even just making dessert or snacks and play some games so we have better things to look forward to instead of frittering our money away on eating out.
My reboot is to take my notebook and pencil and walk through the house and make a list of what needs to get done. Then I make a plan for the week on what I will get done on which days. Cleaner house, mind clear and now we can start fresh.
My frugal tip would be don’t procrastinate and put things off, fix what can be fixed before it gets to the point of unrepair. We were reminiscing about mom’s frugal ways, someone recalled that as our dad’s shirt collars wore out she would remove it, flip it over so the underside was on top and the worn side was on the bottom. I was amazed at that.
Emmy and Paul, I love your videos. I just discovered them on UA-cam not too long ago. This one was one of my favorites. Thanks for the tip on garlic bread from hot dog and hamburger rolls. There are just three of us and they grow stale and I have to throw them away. I watch you almost every day. You dog is so sweet. God bless.
At the end of every month, I have a money date with myself and review all my spending. Then I ask myself 2 questions: How did I do and what could I have done better.
Thank you so much for sharing your family with us. I retired and moved far away from my kids and grandkids to take care of our mom and other family members, and I miss them so much. I did fly back to Portland, OR, twice in 2021 so I’m not going to visit again until June 2023, when my son turns 40. I’m going to sock away as much money as I can for that planned vacation, starting this month of June. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
What an awesome family you have Emmy!! Your brother and sister-in-law did a wonderful job raising such sweet, polite children!! The baked bean burgers is a terrific idea…I can’t wait to try it!! Excellent video Emmy and Paul!! Enjoy your weekend!! Janel in NJ
Trying to eat at home more but, when we do eat out, trying to remember to ask if they offer senior discounts because they don't always advertise them even though they give them.
Just the opposite here in Florida. Yes we can do outdoor things, but most days it is to hot to go outside, spring, perfect, autumn, perfect…winter? Excellent!
When closing the zip lock bags try inserting a straw in the corner of the the bag. Zip close up to the straw then you can suck the air out. Pull the straw out and seal.
As always motivating and full of good ideas. What a beautiful family you have, so lovely that you all got together, that must take some organising! Best wishes from The UK.
Garlic bread rolls are also great to make an Italian style burger! Topped with red sauce and mozzarella cheese! If you want to Guild the lily you can add fried salami or pepperoni, and ricotta cheese!
What a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing great tips from those wonderful young people. My change isn't for the month of June so much as what I plan for the second half of the year starting in July (the new "fiscal year," lol). My husband and I relocated about 18 months ago to a new town, and it has been no end of necessary infrastructure spending on the new home (new solar panels and storage batteries, new HVAC, water heater, appliances, etc.) Then I wanted to deal with decorative issues like paint, furniture, etc. So the reboot I'm planning as we move into July is to slam on the brakes and have the whole second half of this year be a "no-spend on the house" challenge. A house is never finished anyway, right? I want to stop spending on all "improvements" and just enjoy things as they are, with what we already have, which is far more than enough. As your video shows, it's family sharing time together in the home that matters most!
What a wonderful family!! They are so animated and cheerful and sweet. You are truly blessed. I am canning ground beef and chicken breasts to hedge against inflation. Also, I just bought some large bags of wheat berries that I will grind into flour and bake my own bread. I used to bake my own bread, but got out of the habit. Also, I'm keeping my trips out of the house to a bare minimum and planning them carefully to get as much done in one trip as possible.
My reboot is each week when I buy groceries, I am going to set an amount I want to spend, and use a handheld tally counter to keep track of how much each item costs. If it costs $1.30 I round it up to $2. It has a finger ring to put over your finger while holding in your hand. You just press to click it for each dollar that it costs. This way I won't go over the amount I want to spend each week. I've used it twice now and it worked wonderfully!
what a beautiful family !!! They really had some great ideas . Water glassing eggs is my new skill. Reboot would be preserving all the garden veggies. I never knew you could freeze cuke slices for smoothies. My daughter asked me about it because she's into smoothies. So I'm not wasting ANYTHING !!!!
You have a very cool and very smart family 👍👌 my niece repairs cars too so nice to hear! My mom, sisther and I are very practical and fix about everything in our the house diy ( our parents all learnt us in a time it would be only boys should do this) My mom tiled her bathroom and the kitchen I do recommend not mess with electricity though, hubby is a sparky so I don't need to. Still sparks fly every now and than. so unless you really know what your doing leave it to a pro.
@@FrugalMoneySaver and even licensed pros mess up.. A sparky is a professional electrician, but the has secure tools so they will be more save when things happen.
My husband requires a special medical procedure once a week about an hour and a half each way with the procedure taking 2 and a half hours each time. Yesterday we found the best route to get there, found round trip uses about half a tank of gas, so checked the prices for gas along the way and found some charging a bit less than our home area. I am going to pack a picnic lunch from home each time and put a crockpot meal in my slow cooker before we leave so we won’t have to eat out. I did scout around the areas for small occasional treats to reduce the stress. We drive through Hershey and can stop at a Wawa for a fresh candy bar sometime and our route also takes us past a local outdoor ice cream shop! …Deb Gnagey
Ohhhh dear Emmy, what a lovely family you are blessed with! It was so, so nice to see you all gather in your living room, as families should always do but we have forgotten. A nice video, as always! Blessings to all of you. ❤
This month I'm only buying whats on sale. I will be eating fresh, lettuce, onions, dill, from my greenhouse. And my fruit will come from the Clarence rack at my local grocery store to cut down on the cost. I also plan on making dandelion biscuits for snack, they are easy and so cheap to make . Fishing is in my near future. That's another great way to have fresh fee food on my plate. I also plan on using what I have in my freezer. And possibly can up some recipes for future meals that require minimal effort to prepare. This way I can open a jar, heat it up and eat. I'm also planing a yard sale. When we bought this house. We bought a shed and garage with it. I have a shed with tons of stuff that hasn't seen the light of day in years. Time to declutter and sell what we don't need. I can go on and on about how I like to save and or make money. Every penny counts,
So I have a high school “athlete”. We support him at his events. My reboot, we will be having stay at home game nights at least once a week. It will build a talking relationship with him, save money and gas, and keep us off the electronics. We can instill all kinds of lessons into this time but mostly we will be investing in all our futures.
Lovely family! Great tips. My brother and all his kids, their spouses and grandchildren are in Illinois and I'm in NJ. It stinks that don't get to see them too often. But is wonderful when all get together. Was wonderful to watch yours.
We just paid off our son's car. Now we own all of our vehicles out right. Our re-boot is to continue to have a car payment automatically put into savings from our paychecks. We are used to not having that extra money at our disposal and in a few years, when we need another car, the money will be in savings to pay cash for it!
It was really chilly the Last week. So at the evenings we Had the woodstove on ( a little bit).since december No more heating for us. Now the sun is there, and I dry the wash on a laundry rack
Hi Emmy and Paul, thank you again for another great video and for the frugal tips given by you and your family. I just wanted to add that if you have a major car repair coming up, make sure to check with the manufacturer to see if there's a recall on the parts you want to repair/replace. Many years ago, my first husband decided to replace the brakes on our car with my 12 year-old son assisting him. While the car was jacked up, the jack slipped and the car fell on hubby's hand. His hand was pinned between the car and the jack. My son ran to get the neighbor, who single-handedly lifted up the car and freed hubby's hand. He nearly lost his pinkie finger, had emergency surgery on his hand and was in the hospital for a few days. A few days later, we decided to let the dealership replace the brakes. It was heartbreaking to find out that the brakes had been recalled and the repairs costed us nothing.
@@FrugalMoneySaver It was a scary situation. His finger is still crooked. I had asked him to take our car to the dealership to replace the brakes, but he wanted to save money and do it himself. He didn't have the proper equipment to do the repair in our driveway. A simple phone call to the dealership would've saved us money, time and misery.
Such great tips! I also use you tube videos for things around the house. I refuse to pay someone for something I can do myself. You and your family could write a book! I'm glad you had time to spend with them. I'm sure Dixie enjoyed it too
Beautiful family! Thank you for the tips and your "use every morsel" recipes. When I was 16 my dad gave me a back board to roll under the car and change the oil. He gave me a power tool each year. For my first apartment he gave me a fishing tackle box with every size of nail, screw, nut, washer, etc, which I keep restocked. I'm the daughter who's better in the garage than the kitchen. So satisfying to repair your own car and house.
What a beautiful family! Great frugal ideas! What I like to do is save the money I didn't spend on something. For example, going out to eat; when we decide to stay home instead of going to out to eat, I put that amount we would have spent back. It really adds up!
What an absolutely fabulous group of young people! You must be so proud of them! The baked bean burgers look great! I love all your amazing videos! God bless you both! …Deb Gnagey
That’s what I do with my leftover hamburger and hot dog rolls I make garlic bread 😊❤️I also put mozzarella cheese on it….I also do that with leftover tortilla bread btw your family is soooooo cute 🥰
I watched this while I prepped to freeze raspberries and mulberries from the yard for future berry muffins and breads! I picked about $7 worth of perfect (and thornless) raspberries this am. Berries I planted 3 years ago and this is their first BIG harvest. The mulberry tree was just in the yard. When I saw them riped a few years ago I googled could you eat them bc I had never seen them in the stores. They are really good and FREE. This month we are going a low budget (175$ for 2 adults) for groceries and these free fruits will help pad us. Beautiful family!
The burgers look amaxing--will try soon. I will some bread crusts for the garlic bread. My goal is to develop at least two new inexpensive meat substitutes from either leftovers around the house that are good in nutrition and awesome in flavor. I so appreciate what you said about everyone taking healthy control over the things that are ours to control. Thanks.
Beautiful family!!! 😍 I know this is months late, but I wanted to share what I do to save money. I decided to see what would happen if I limit my grocery spending to $300/month. The way I 'enforce' this to myself is to only use cash, when shopping for groceries. At the beginning of the month, I take out $300 and put it in a specific section in my wallet. This has resulted in me doing meal planning, which I realized, was not hard at all. The first month I technically ran out of money before the end of the month (no, I didn't go hungry). That was actually a good thing, because I had to use what I already had in my house. The next month, I ended up with a surplus. I've been doing this for four months now, and haven't run out of money since. It's actually resulted in me doing more meal planning, which results in much less waste (shooting for zero), and more money for groceries. The next step is to plan what to do with the surplus at the end of each month. I'm looking to use that to add to food storage. Thanks for the tips!!!
Absolutely a beautiful family. What a blessing to have them all together ❤️ I have a small family of 3. So when I see these large families it makes my heart smile. The bean burger is uber frugal genius! I'll be trying that for sure.
Who needs money when you are blessed with such a wonderful family to enjoy life with. That is something money can't buy.
AMEN! Sheila I couldn't agree more!
I started walking to a grocery store that is one mile away. It saves on gas, let’s me get in some exercise, and prevents me from buying “extras”. Happy Weekend, Emmy/Paul and family!

Me too so no bacon for me.
What a kind comment! Thank you so much Louise!
You could add a little toasted sesame oil to get a little bacon flavor. Bacon flavor is what makes baked beans so flavorful.

Yes Heather! They were all homeschooled.
Usually do fried cabbage with carrot for color, and potatoes. I cook bacon, ham, sausage or sometimes canned corn beef. But always with potatoes.
Sounds so good!
Beautiful family. Muy frugal tip is learn electricity, plumbing, coocking or anything else I can, to DIY as much as I can.
Thank you for sharing!
With our move EVERYTHING is a reboot: new budget, new home, new life basically

My reboot is to eat at home more. We have gotten into a bad habit of grabbing dinner while we are out running errands on Saturdays and I know it's costing us. My idea is to plan a couple of Saturday evenings a month to have friends over for a potluck meal - or even just making dessert or snacks and play some games so we have better things to look forward to instead of frittering our money away on eating out.
Great ideas! Sounds fun!
My reboot is to take my notebook and pencil and walk through the house and make a list of what needs to get done. Then I make a plan for the week on what I will get done on which days. Cleaner house, mind clear and now we can start fresh.
Love that! It really helps to get those items on paper!
What an amazing tip...Thanks!
God bless.
Thank you! So happy you found our channel!
i do these too, and i often add a few slices of mushrooms and grated vegan cheeze on top of them before baking.
Perfect!
Fun video, never thought of left over bean burgers! My kids (all 5) call left overs “used food” 😂
That’s what my kids used to call it too! As adults, all but one happily eat used food now.
LOL! Love that!
Great family!!! I love your niece working on her own car!
She is smart and brave.
She is amazing!!
At the end of every month, I have a money date with myself and review all my spending. Then I ask myself 2 questions: How did I do and what could I have done better.
Love that! Exactly what we do!
What a wonderful family! How delightful!
Thanks so much Julie!
I’m trying to use my leftovers in a creative way, like your leftover baked beans, instead of throwing it away. Thanks for ideas.
You are so welcome Ellie!
That is awesome! What a wonderful money saving goal!
Hi guys how are you it was a great video nice to meet your family God bless you guys be safe blessings 👍🏼🌎😀❤️👏🏼✝️🇺🇸
Thank you! You too Kevin! God Bless!
What an awesome family you have Emmy!! Your brother and sister-in-law did a wonderful job raising such sweet, polite children!! The baked bean burgers is a terrific idea…I can’t wait to try it!! Excellent video Emmy and Paul!! Enjoy your weekend!! Janel in NJ
Thanks so much Janel!
Lovely to meet your families
Trying to eat at home more but, when we do eat out, trying to remember to ask if they offer senior discounts because they don't always advertise them even though they give them.
So true! Great tip!
Just the opposite here in Florida. Yes we can do outdoor things, but most days it is to hot to go outside, spring, perfect, autumn, perfect…winter? Excellent!
LOL! Only 19 hours apart by car but so different!
When closing the zip lock bags try inserting a straw in the corner of the the bag. Zip close up to the straw then you can suck
the air out. Pull the straw out and seal.
Please don't do this if there is raw meat in the bag!
A very beautiful family! And very frugal as well!!
Thanks Jane!
That was so precious seeing your whole family! What a great bunch of kids ❤
They are a true blessing!
As always motivating and full of good ideas. What a beautiful family you have, so lovely that you all got together, that must take some organising! Best wishes from The UK.
Yes, it was at my house! I hosted!
Garlic bread rolls are also great to make an Italian style burger! Topped with red sauce and mozzarella cheese! If you want to Guild the lily you can add fried salami or pepperoni, and ricotta cheese!
YUM! Thanks!
Yes! I totally understand! A home is never really finished you are right. Great attitude to just enjoy as it is!
That is awesome! Sounds like you are doing great!
What a great idea! So clever! Thanks for sharing!
My Mom had one back in the 60s. Good idea!
What a beautiful family just heartwarming!
Thanks Cindy!
My reboot, is to ride my bike everywhere , rather than drive my car. Or, use public transit. And, we are planting a container garden.
Great money saving ideas!
Loved this episode. Emmy and Paul you are truly blessed with a wonderful family. x
Thank you!
what a beautiful family !!! They really had some great ideas . Water glassing eggs is my new skill. Reboot would be preserving all the garden veggies. I never knew you could freeze cuke slices for smoothies. My daughter asked me about it because she's into smoothies. So I'm not wasting ANYTHING !!!!
YAY! Good for you Kim!
Absolutely not! Leave electricity to a licensed professional!
@@FrugalMoneySaver and even licensed pros mess up.. A sparky is a professional electrician, but the has secure tools so they will be more save when things happen.
Your family is amazing! Reminds me so much of my host family from 1988 when I was an exchange student in NYC❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the video!
Cream of broccoli soup is delicious! Great way to use the stems
Yes, so good!
…Deb Gnagey
Deb I hope your husband will be okay! We will pray!! We love Wawa too!
You all lift my spirits with your upbeat attitudes and positivity. Thank you! Have a wonderful day! Greetings from NE Oklahoma.
Thank you! You too!
Awww, precious family!!!
Thank you!
The leftover bun garlic bread is a game changer 🥖🧈🍝
So easy and good!
Ohhhh dear Emmy, what a lovely family you are blessed with! It was so, so nice to see you all gather in your living room, as families should always do but we have forgotten. A nice video, as always! Blessings to all of you. ❤
Thank you so much!
What a wonderful family.
Thank you!
You are so funny Emmy, I had a good laugh, and your family is lovely!
Thank you so much!
Loved your family, they are so sweet!
Every penny counts,
Yes, it does! Great tips you shared to save money!
So I have a high school “athlete”. We support him at his events. My reboot, we will be having stay at home game nights at least once a week. It will build a talking relationship with him, save money and gas, and keep us off the electronics. We can instill all kinds of lessons into this time but mostly we will be investing in all our futures.
Oh my gosh I love that!! We used to do that with our son! Good for you!
Lovely family! Great tips. My brother and all his kids, their spouses and grandchildren are in Illinois and I'm in NJ. It stinks that don't get to see them too often. But is wonderful when all get together. Was wonderful to watch yours.
Thanks for watching!!
We just paid off our son's car. Now we own all of our vehicles out right. Our re-boot is to continue to have a car payment automatically put into savings from our paychecks. We are used to not having that extra money at our disposal and in a few years, when we need another car, the money will be in savings to pay cash for it!
BRILLIANT! Good for you!
That is what I did when I paid off my car. Won't be long until I can pay cash for the next one.
😊 yum. Thanks for the bean burger tip. I usually put leftovers in a tortilla, but this looks great!.
Hope you enjoy!
Great video! Beautiful Family! Faux pas was not that bad. Cute and real! Charles was so cool about it.
LOL! It was funny!
Enjoyed “meeting” your delightful family and hearing their frugal ideas. 😊
Thank you!
What an amazing family!!!!
So kind! Thanks!
What a lovely family! GREAT tips! God bless you all.
Thank you! God bless you as well!
We went to a community thrift store and scored 2 pair jeans 👖 and 2 shirts for $8. The fit perfectly and were in brand new condition.
YAY! Love that!
It was really chilly the Last week. So at the evenings we Had the woodstove on ( a little bit).since december No more heating for us.
Now the sun is there, and I dry the wash on a laundry rack
Yes, love to dry clothes outside this time of year!
Oh my gosh! So happy he was okay!
Lovely family! Really like the car repair advice ...it's manageable one to three ... I'm all in😃
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks!
Yum. I’m making extra baked beans next time just to try those burgers
Hope you enjoy them!
What a beautiful and joyful family. Thank you for sharing. This was a real treat!
Thank you Shannon!
Baked bean burger was genius! Looks great. I’m excited to watch the rest of the video.
Thanks so much!
What a precious family. Thanks for letting us meet them
Thank you Helen!
Such great tips! I also use you tube videos for things around the house. I refuse to pay someone for something I can do myself. You and your family could write a book! I'm glad you had time to spend with them. I'm sure Dixie enjoyed it too
Yes, Dixie had fun! Thank you!
Thanks god bless you and all the family glad to see them all thanks 🙏 🌹
Thank you, you and yours as well!
Wow! That's wonderful! I had 3 older brothers so I missed that chapter LOL!
What a beautiful family! Great frugal ideas! What I like to do is save the money I didn't spend on something. For example, going out to eat; when we decide to stay home instead of going to out to eat, I put that amount we would have spent back. It really adds up!
It sure does! Thanks!
What an absolutely fabulous group of young people! You must be so proud of them! The baked bean burgers look great! I love all your amazing videos! God bless you both! …Deb Gnagey
God bless you as well! Thanks so much Deb!
It’s like a veggie burger Paul!😊
How warm and adorable....just like y'all
Awww thanks!
That’s what I do with my leftover hamburger and hot dog rolls I make garlic bread 😊❤️I also put mozzarella cheese on it….I also do that with leftover tortilla bread btw your family is soooooo cute 🥰
Great idea!! Thank you Francine!
Oh that is wonderful! Fresh fruit from your yard!
A smart and good looking family you have.
Thank you!
Thanks.
Thanks for watching Anne!
You have a precious family.
Thanks Becky!
Beautiful family!!! 😍
I know this is months late, but I wanted to share what I do to save money.
Yay! That’s such a creative way to handle your food budget!
@kasession
Thank you for sharing this information, inspiring!
What a fabulous family! You are blessed.
Thanks so much Edith!
You & Paul are blessed to have such a beautiful family….awe, look at Dixie, so sweet…..thanks to everyone for their helpful tips….
Thank you Carolyn!
Absolutely a beautiful family. What a blessing to have them all together ❤️
I have a small family of 3. So when I see these large families it makes my heart smile.
The bean burger is uber frugal genius! I'll be trying that for sure.
YAY! Glad you liked the recipe!
What a beautiful family Love this!!!
