Man, you do so much! And that mold thing must've been super stressful. Once the outside drainage is done, you can put that thing out of your mind for good. 👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve just been sitting here all day and Been watching this series. Gonna finish it all the way as it’s more entertaining then any movie and packed full of information.
This has been so entertaining. I love when I find a complete build series I can just binge watch. Especially since I'm renovating my first own (though 3m x 6m - 10ft x 20ft) workshop aswell.
If I had big metal I-beams, I’d paint them an industrial red. Maybe a different color or even multiple colors. Alternating blue and red or something fun.
Make sure you grade that dirt to slope away from the building. Right now all the surface water is going right towards the building because of that trench.
Regarding issues with mould the best thing would be to bin all pieces altogether. Yes you can try to salvage it by using mold removals, sand it and all but that only removes black top part of mould. The rest is deeply inside of plywood etc and will eventually come back. The biggest reason for mould showing up is not too much moist but static air. Mould likes static air. Once room has solid air movement done by simple ventilation mould be gone.
I just came to the comments section to say that the white paint was such a good choice! I understand your sentiment, but the white wall allows ALL THAT LIGHT! which will be great for video and will make it so the plywood grain doesn't just hold in all the dust and such.
I.m with you on this one but plywood just left as as looks very cheap and dirty. My preference would be to get walls plastered and painted professionally with some light colour or if going for natural look to use tongue and groove panelling. It.s more expensive and takes more time to get done but final results are just perfect. I have my shed with tongue and groove paneling from outside and it looks great.
yeah dude, there's "natural wood" and then there's PLYwood. Ain't nuthin natural about plywood. It is ugly as hell, but it's functional, so we use it. Don't confuse real wood with processed sheet goods.
I really hope you will roll on a cheap oil based primer sealer onto all of your bare wood surfaces, because even the most expensive paint primer sprayed on will etch through it over several months and you will be seeing, yellowing from the grains of the plywood, showing through heavily. Also use a light grey for your shop color, it will help with light dispersal, color accuracy and filming, better then just plain white. best of luck.
I'm really liking your shop build series. Your definitely spending some serious money now but I'm sure it will pay off in the future having the shop built right the first time.
I don't understand all this finish work on a shop with such moisture issues. Solve the drainage and moisture then worry about making it look nice. I worry he is going to be chasing mould and end up ripping a lot of this back out. I hope it all works out.
As a mold Remediator my self and Certified with the IICRC Mold is just as bad for you Weather is dead or alive. So by just simply killing mold that's enough. You need to remove it.
Looking good! Kinda don't see the point in plywood walls if you're just going to paint them. I suppose it's nice to have a tougher surface to mount stuff from in the shop though.
I see that your channel is very valuable. I would love to repost your whole channel, without changing anything, on the clean and valuable platform named Ganjing World. If you agree with that, please let me know. Thanks!

It's been real fun watching your workshop come together

Can't wait to see all the cool things you do when the shop is running .... thanks for making these vids and taking us along
Workshop coming along beautiful.
Thanks!

Shop looks awesome tbh

if you haven't already, install gutter guards to help keep those gutters clear and draining properly.
Algorithm do your thang. Great vid.
Job well done guys! Stay safe!

Yup, that’s the plan. Basically going to create a swale about 8 feet from the foundation.
Pretty interesting the fogging process, Johnny! The workshop is looking better and better! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks, I thought it was pretty interesting too!
Looking good!
Thank you for sharing

Personal preference I know, but I think I prefer the natural wood look over the paint. Regardless, all the prep work sure shows in the final results.

Awesome stuff❤️👍
Nice work mate 👍
Huge job (made bigger by the mould) but looking great!
It's looking really good so far.
Wood Work is Forever just like the Wu.

MH ready patch is a good product . The exception is the inside of the can will rust and ruin the product if you don't use it all.
Awesome video brother ! The shop is coming along great! Can’t wait to see the next one.
The Perkins Crew! 🎉🎉
Your work is impeccable!
Use Kilz paint to help with the mold and mildew

It’s definitely adding up but thankfully I was able to reuse a lot of material. Can’t wait to see it completed!
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Hello from NC! :) mold is a huge pain here…
Energy efficient enough said. Save money in the long run

Power goes out for a few days, mold
I’d cover all of those walls with French cleats. That way you have total flexibility on how you configure things.
Excelente trabajo 💯 👊
Hope that mold remediation works, even though I find it hard to believe that
Very very nice video khubsurat bahut superhit video bahut khubsurat video
How many tubes of caulk did you use? That’s a crazy amount of linear feet….

Yea I will be vacuuming the impacted pieces and wiping them down with a borax solution as well.
@@craftedworkshop Vinegar works well too. For contrast I'd love to see that big I beam painted red or something.
@@Mudgrove yea I'm trying to decide on the color for the beam. My wife thinks black would be cool.
amazing
Where can I find that shirt?
link is on the description next to the word 'Merch'. Took me a while to find it lol
RIP MOLDS! 🤣
90 degree weather lol.
So once the fogging is done, do surfaces need to be wiped down at all?
He said it phase changes into a gas.
Please please where is the next workshop video 😭
This Sunday! Sorry for the delay, family got COVID and it's put me way behind!
Looking good! Kinda don't see the point in plywood walls if you're just going to paint them. I suppose it's nice to have a tougher surface to mount stuff from in the shop though.
Hope your mold problems go away for good.
I guess I don't understand the purpose of adding trim to a shop
Can someone direct link that Wood Work Wu shirt?
