Design and construction of an 8m tall tower constructed from 100% Italian bamboo in collaboration with bamboo artisans Bambuseto as part of the Green Utopia 2015 event during Milan’s renowned Furisalone furniture and design fair. The Tower aims through it‘s use of locally sourced, fast-growing Bamboo as a structural material, to stimulate a dialogue on sustainable building materials and to encourage visitors to consider which alternative materials we will rely on in a future with limited fossil fuel resources.
