- In this episode of EB VS, we have a new host! For her very first EB VS, we challenge her to recreate two of our favourite FRUCE drinks. How do you think she'll fare? Watch and find out!

Full recipe:
Avocado Coconut Smoothie
Yield: Makes 2 large, or 4 small servings
Ingredients:
2 cups Coconut water
1½ cups of ice
1½ cups fresh milk
1½ cups large, ripened avocados
1 cup water
¼ cup white sugar
1 cube gula melaka
6g unsalted butter
Steps:
1. Blend the avocados with some water to get a thick, pureed consistency.
2. Boil the white sugar and water to get your sugar syrup.
3. Next, boil the gula melaka and water until dissolved.
4. Combine all ingredients in your blender. Blend until smooth, then add ice.
5. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
D24 Durian Pandan
Yield: Makes 2 large, or 4 small servings
Ingredients:
3 mature pandan leaves
120ml fresh milk
120ml coconut milk
3 pieces durian
1½ cups Ice
3 tsp condensed milk
6 tsp gula melaka syrup
150ml fresh milk
Steps:
1. Chop the pandan leaves to about 1-2cm.
2. Boil the pandan leaves, coconut milk and fresh milk together, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Blend the mixture, and strain to get pandan extract.
4. Remove the flesh of the durian, and set some aside to line the cups later on.
5. Combine all the other ingredients in a blender. Pulse, then blend until smooth, before adding ice.
6. Line cups with reserved durian pulp.
8. Serve immediately, or chill before serving.

No offence to Adria but qing is talented and unpretentious.. I enjoyed qing as a host on this segment.. I hope Adria isn't taking over:( im sorry but I personally find Adria too high for this segment😔
If you have been following Qing's instagram, you would have known she left TSL for a while

For the first drink, create the sugar syrup and gula melaka syrup first, then you blend Avocado. Will decrease a bowl to wash. 😁
14:12 They most likely used pandan extract which is why it's more fragrant compared to just boiling and blending pandan.

Don't think the butter does anything - it'll just solidify in the cold drink (rmb how baking recipes always tell you to use room temp butter?) Maybe can sub it using condensed milk (if it isn't already too sweet)

if you're using very ripe fruits, u wouldn't really need the sugar/gula melaka/condensed milk. i mean, unless u want the added calories.. no need for water either when there's already milk to lubricate the blending process; this would give the smoothie a thicker, nicer consistency.

Why u put the sugar water in the bowl, then u put back the sugar water in the pot?
To extract a little more pandan flavour I think blending it to extract it's juices then adding it to the milks would make it more fragrant.
I just had fruce this weekend but this video is making me crave it again 😭💜
