But you can't knock Mayweather just because his fights aren't as exciting as other fighters. He, in my mind, is the definition of a pure boxer..... he is fast, accurate, avoids taking hits, jumps in and gets a few off on and bounces back out to reassess and repeat.

Pride, that's why he got up. The majority of people thought he would stop Kostya in the later rounds judging on his last few performances and he believed it too and he could have. Kostya wanted a rematch clause in the contract just incase he lost this fight but Zab didn't, he also acted really arrogantly towards Kostya at press conferences when Kostya was really polite.

Of course he got up too fast. Pretty obvious. Still the right call though by the ref...not because of any fictitious regulation about two knockdowns, but the guy was gone. The shot from overhead showed the Ref grabbing his hands after he we down the second time and was actually holding Judah upright. Simply a damn good knockout that is famous for all the wrong reasons such as Judah's stupidity afterwards.
Check out Tszyu rolling into the straight right that nearly caught him the previous punch...beautiful punches and awesome power for his size.
If the ref didnt wave him off, Judah's career may have been in jeopardy with hindsight. Ref saw him close up which we cant.
