I have been making this bread for about 8 times now...easy and delicious, thanks Alisa! Have you (or anyone) try this method using 100% whole wheat? Updated 2022: This is still my go to recipe for a quick rolls. Just some tips for others, you can subs the vegan butter with coconut butter or even apple sauce and it will still work beautifully.
I have made it a few times too and used whatever gluten type flour I had on hand. I have used unbleached with whole wheat and never measured what ratio as long as it was the 2 cups I have also used all whole wheat. I did add a flax egg (just added one tsp flax to 3 tsp water & sit for a few mins then mix in anytime before the first rise), I used the flax egg since the first time I made it cuz I made a mistake thinking the recipe called for it and it turned out so well I have used it every time since. I am very happy to have reasonable sized recipe that is easy so I can make it anytime on short notice. Thank You for the recipe!
So my first batch at work turned out pale because I tried with olive oil since we didn't have vegan butter. The other batch looked soooo much nicer when I used almond milk on top!!
Updates... I tried it and this is my comment. The outside looks good and pretty like the video showed but sorry to say that the inside still looks doughy. So, sorry to say I still prefer the recipe from " yeast mode" on eggless dinner rolls and will not repeat this recipe
Mine turned out like a scone 🤦♀️ would bread flour work too as I think maby it was the flour I used, tho tbf they were good bread scones 😆❤🤦♀️ im definitely doing somthing wrong x
Try kneading less and letting them rise longer. I often add a tablespoon of vital what gluten if it's cold outside because it helps the bread rise fluffier too
I have a question if I do all the steps and I'm not ready to bake yet can I mold the dough put it in the pan cover it and put it in the fridge until I'm ready to bake later on in the day say eight hours after ?
Thank you for your comment! I would suggest refrigerating the dough in a large bowl in the fridge without forming them into smaller rolls for the pan yet. When you are ready to bake, form the dough into the smaller rolls, place them into the pan, let it rest for 5-10 min then bake them. I have tried it this way and it has worked nicely for me 😄
@@Stevie-oy8zj This is not a "lack of common sense" thing, so much as it is "lack of clear communication" on your part thing. Don't allow the audience to guess or assume (that's poor communication). The audience needs to know, that YOU KNOW, the CORRECT definition of "vegan". Most people are not clear in this area, and it needs to be stated, BY YOU, especially in this video, so that the audience is clear that you are following the correct definition of "vegan'...duh! 🙄
So easy and delicious. Much easier that the other recipes. This will be my go to recipe. Thanks!

Maybe also use a little less flour
Will these work as sub rolls? Maybe double the recipe and shape differently?
I believe that would taste great! I’m not sure how doubling the recipe would turn out but it can work!

Amazing. Thanks I need to borrow this I will credit you
the Vegan mechanic you’re welcome! ❤️
Hi 👋 can I make them with bread flour? Would I need to change something? Thanks for sharing 😊
Bread flour should work just fine ☺️
How are you saying this as vegan dinner rolls, when you’re adding milk and butter?
These rolls are 100% vegan 😄 used vegan brand "earth balance" butter and cashew milk 👍 thank you for your comment!
@@alisaplantbased ......please *STATE THAT* "VERBALLY" in the video, next time, so the audience is not left to guess, mind-read, or presume.
You guys cant read? She clearly posted in the video and in the video info. Anyway. This is an awesome recipe!! Thank you!
Mr. M it’s a vegan recipe. It’s common sense not assuming that all the ingredients would be vegan... duh 🙄
