I have looked at many reversible over the collar dog bandana tutorials. I must say yours is one of the best by far! I have downloaded your instructions!
I like the idea of using Cricut designs on the bandana. I have a Cricut machine but haven't done any iron on vinyl. Can you tell me what the clear thing is that the design was stuck to when you were pressing it? Do you use a different style mat for that type of vinyl? If I decide to buy one of the heat transfer iron things, which do you recommend? Thanks
Heat transfer vinyl comes with the clear backing you peel off after pressing it. I use both the cricut easy press 2 or the mini - I’d make a note to see if they go on sale during Amazon prime days if you have it
This was an awesome video, especially for beginners. I had to adjust the collar opening to 3 inches to allow for clasp and ring to fit through the opening on a TACTIPUP collar. Our German Shepherds are Therapy Dogs and the school children love the bandanas I make for the dogs. Would love to know the name of the designer and print of your fabric? Love it!
what a wonderful thing to do! I am the fabric designer and the print I used in this video is called "Dark Blue Winter Barn Quilts" from my Winter Barn Quilts collection for Riley Blake Designs. You can see all of my past, current and upcoming fabrics here - tarareed.com/fabric/all-fabrics/ Look for them in stores and online. (Older fabrics can often still be found on Etsy if you search the collection name + Tar Reed or the collection name + Riley Blake Designs)
hmmm... that could be an issue if the bandana is wide enough to go over it. My first thought is add a button hole that the d ring could go through when you make your next one. LMK if that works!
Downloaded instructions, staring Christmas craft planning now. excellent tutorial, thank you.
Thank you and have fun! There will be some lucky dogs on your list!

I'm glad you like it - have fun! Are you making them for your dog, gifts, to sell? Always curious what people are making and why!
@@ArtistTaraReed I made them for a coworker who doesn't sew. I might decide to make some as "trophies" for my dog club.
@@sallyschilling1559 very fun!
Exactly what I was thinking !😊

You explained so well that encourage me to make some for my doggies.
