Which (free )soft do you advise for a guy who wants to start doing music composition with a PC especially sampled-base music like nu disco , nu jazz , etc ?
I dont suggest free DAWs. They are very limited in functions. Reaper has a 60-day trial. If you like it you can get a license for $60. This the cheapest daw i know and you can do sample based music with it.

maybe Bandlab web or Cakewalk
Cakewalk used to be expensive but it’s free now
I started making music with cake walk and LMMS I know make in fl studio
