He never said it was "final", he said he wasn't sure if he'll continue it or not. That's why I'm saying I hope he will continue making new ones.
@@bonk6244 He's stated a fair few times on stream that he isn't planning on doing podcasts anymore. He also stated that he'll move on from reviews fully and start making some other stuff but that didn't hold up too well, not yet anyway. so idk, maybe he'll come back for the podcasts, at least I hope he does. He had a little q&a with Cezar about 2 years ago, it wasn't with Andi because he's occupied with his job and being a father.
This podcast really is something special. The amount of people going out of their way to say that they rewatch the podcasts over and over again is really a sight to behold. They caught lightning in a bottle with a such a simple and common premise. A big reason why is cause they're chill as fuck

About you saying you're not the youtuber that uploads everyday... dunkey, nakeyjakey, ssethtzeentach, have similar channels that don't do it either. But every single video is a masterpiece, like yours. I would say to don't worry too much and keep the heart.
I'd rather have someone who uploads a irregularly, and all of their videos are amazing than the other way around.

I see Ranton kind of like NakeyJakey. Each have most of their videos be about videogames whether it be reviewing them, talking about the impact in their lives, or other topics. Their personalities and how they execute their objectives is how they differ. Jakey's uploads can have very long space in between each upload, this, for me, is totally fine. I know each time a video does come out, it'll be a tier (or more) above most others. Ranton does the same thing, and if getting more frequent uploads means risking losing amazing youtubers, then i'll happily wait months at a time.
Yeah, it's a shame the algorithm rewards constant bullshit instead of occasional brilliance. It's the same everywhere. Musicians don't get as much out of spending 3 years on an album then having it be forgotten on social media in a week, they do a lot better off a constant drip feed of dropping a single then hyping the next single forever.

I don't know if this helps, Ranton, but when you're talking about how we view you, I think of you as someone who puts a lot of thought in your videos, so I totally understand the time and effort into your videos, so don't stress on that. We appreciate the passion you put in them. Stick with that. We love it. Your brother's offer to do Patreon question videos sounds like a really good idea, and can help your channel out.

If there is in fact no more new content coming up on this channel, or if it is to be published fewer and fewer times, I still see all good reasons for you to be proud, not only for what you clearly accomplished by your own hands, but also for remaining true to yourself, to your ambition, goals and standards that I am certain, drove your work to becoming that exact same unique experience that you once discussed and that no other channel on UA-cam can or will be able to offer.
I don't freaking care about your opinion or preference as for treating you like any normal human being who in the end is just another guy living his life, because I don't agree with you there, and your content is the living proof of that. It's a sad fact that you feel that you can't express your opinion on your own podcast/channel just because you got a lot of subscribers now. As a random, anonymous person on the internet I'd like to point out that you can't make everyone happy with the things you say/don't say and you shouldn't care/try to do that anyways. I don't think there's anyone with an audience of hundreds of thousands who doesn't ruffle any feather every once in a while; as long as it's genuine (and you're being genuine) that's just part of the charm. You're not a public figure, and your 'statements' are (generally) about video games and media which, at the end of the day, really aren't that important.
Plus your actual reviews could also be controversial/offensive to a lot of people (mostly the jokes) but you don't seem to care about that. Either censor yourself all the way and limit yourself to reading press materials for games/movies or just do your thing. A lot of people, including myself, enjoy the podcast a lot.
You ask the question 'how people see you'. I got into the channel watching your review of that forgettable VR movie (with all the pop/videogame references) which was funny and also very spot on. Sure, the reviews are hilarious but I think I 'came back' since you're not just some lunatic but also appear to be very bright and articulate (something which, to be fair, doesn't really translate well into the insane review videos). That latter part shines on the podcast, the videos about martial arts, etc.
So it's a weird contrast between insane ranton/rational ranton, of which both are fine. It's also kind of great to have a game-related podcasts in which two non-Americans vent their opinions.
Watch yourself at 28:00 and reflect on all the time you've put into your videos when you were just a small channel. Don't be a debbie downer and be excited that the channel has grown so much.

1) MASSIVE CONGRATS on the new baby Andi. Im really happy for you and your family. Hoping only the best for you.
2) How do I see Anton? I get what you do for your videos and I get where you come from when you talk about inspiration and content. All I know, is that whenever I see your video, I have to watch it in that moment, even if it's a game I don't care about. But, I can't be a Patreon cuz I'm broke, so I can't talk for the patreon side. I'd like to think that they support you and your ways. Like, to become a Patreon it takes a bigger commitment to the channel and creator. There might be channels where becoming a Patreon has little perks it could be cool to have. I think people become Patreons cuz they support you and believe in your genuine persona.
Hope both of you are doing great. Love to see the podcast back. I'd watch it everyday if there was a new one everyday.
