This pedal turns your amp into a firebreathing dragon! Proof right here!😤🔥💪! Just got mine thick harmonic bliss on every string😵😾👽does six feet under and cannibal corpse no prob!
The appeal in having a gate built into an overdrive is that (at least in my experience) having the overdrive on will typically push your noise past the floor of your main gate in the effects loop. So the precision drive's gate essentially just "cleans up its own mess". I would never want to rely on a gate in front of my amp channel to do *all* my gating because any noise from the signal chain happening after it (including the amp's gain channel) would not be eliminated.
Superb mate, looking to get one. I mainly play doom/sludge stoner so i guess the noise won't be an issue. Thanks for your review. You just got a new sub!
@@Padreblue11 I’ll have to double check if it’s my cheap ass power supply introducing noise. Possible I got a dud, but with a knockoff that is the name of the game. While on the subject of pedals, what do you think of the Randall Rg13 and RGOD?
@@Padreblue11 Yeah tried it out with several different power supplies and battery. Even with the volume/gain/attack at the lowest setting (you can no longer hear the guitar) there is a white noise hiss (with no gates and setting the pedals crappy gate off). If yours does not do that then I must have got a dud. Can't be too surprised with these shameless knockoffs!
@@wootks I’ll have to pull back out mine and try it, but I don’t remember it doing that so sadly it sounds like there’s an issue with yours. Hopefully you can return it and get a refund or an exchange
@@wootks I just threw mine back on and yeah there’s a good bit of white noise. I didn’t notice it before because I wasn’t doing many attempts at palm muted sustained notes, and that’s where it becomes the most noticeable
Bro that thing makes your rig scream like a banshee. Cant wait until mine rolls in, just ordered it.
@@WilDBeestMF thanks man! Hope you enjoy it

Man that sounds fucking pissed off! One of the best tones I've heard on youtube.
Thanks man!
Man, great sounds and stellar playing.
Thank you man!
@@Padreblue11 no worries, your playing is very clean and tight. Reckon this is the best showing of this particular pedal on UA-cam. Cheers brother
Would you say its gate is tad more decent for low gain applications rather than of course boosting an already hot amp?
It works mediocrely if you don’t touch the Drive at all. But against a true gate it really isn’t worth it

Damn you got some great thrash riffs regardless of that pedal
Thanks man!
Awesome Demo! What cab are you using? I like running my XXL through Peavey 5150 cabs and M/MS cabs with 1290 Sheffield speakers.
That’s my good ‘ol Mesa OS Recto 2x12 with a pair of 16ohm UK V30s
@@Padreblue11 that cab has the stock Mesa v30’s, it kicks major ass!
Yep, it seriously does!
Good riffs! And great amp tone!
Thank you!
How is the noise on yours? Mine seems rather noisy. Way more so than my other boost/OD pedals.
Not noisier than my other ODs, though I always run a gate in front of the amp and the loop

Tone is nasty dude

What amp do you using bro?
Peavey XXL.

Are playing in clean channel of your amp? and is it the precision drive makes a distorted sounds? thank u
No, all of this is on the gain channel and using the precision as a boost to the overdrive that’s already there
Sold! Just what I was looking for without breaking the bank. Thanks for the demo! 🤘
No problem man, hope ya like it!
