Kyojun is so respectful of others. I think I finally found my ideal type. People always said that girls prefer bad boys but for me, kind man with great manner (maybe a bit nerdy, would suddenly attack me with random scientific facts) is a lot more attractive. I think I don't mind hair that much because I'm ''too hairy for a woman'' and I gave up in shaving my body's hair twice (or even thrice) a week just because of the beauty standars. What I see in the people around me is that the more we grow old, the more we stop caring about this things of the others.

I wish that just like they said "shaving or not shaving hair was optional and depended on personal preferences" but sadly, for girls especially, shaving hair has become a part of the beauty standard because people around us have set that mentality. I can hardly find any girl who doesn't shave their armpit hair. I also remember one incident where an actress did a photo shoot with their armpit hair and people commented very rudely and teased her for not shaving.
I don't know if other girls can relate or not, but me as a girl who has lots of hair issues find "shaving hair has become almost a must to walk around on this society, it's like a burden". For example I have got slight facial hair which at times can be seen if I sweat or someone observes very closely and these days often someone would point it out and ask why don't you shave it, u look "odd" with it. I mean in this society shaving hair has become a beauty standard that girls with facial hair is considered *"odd/manly"* to some people *"when it's actually totally normal and a hormonal thing"* . I wish that mindset would change someday🙂
I don't shave my legs and armpits unless I am going to show them which is rarely. I wear long pants and top with sleeves when I am out. If I feel like dress up well with dress or skirt that is up the knees, I will shave. But the groin area I would cos it's too uncomfortable for me.

I got lot of thin hairs in my legs and I don't shave it. I wear shorts in public and fortunately I never met someone who point it out and said it's odd. But about the armpit hair, I shave it just because I want to but because of that my armpit got irritated and became darker. Now, I can't wear sleeveless shirts 😭

I agree with yumi that there is something about seeing the hair on the stomach on the man. --- We didn't get to leg hair. I remember when I was shaving my legs my dad asked me why because in his day, they wanted the girl with the hairiest legs.

I have a female friend who doesn't shave her armpit hair. She'll go to the beach wearing a bikini and show all of that armpit hair, no problem. The first time I saw it I was kind of startled because it was unexpected, but it's not like I actually care.
I don't think I would care even if a girlfriend has armpit hair, doesn't seem like it matters. A mustache is probably a bit too much for me, but I'm just not a fan of them in general, so it has less to do with being a woman and more to do with me not liking mustaches. The same is true for arm and leg hair, I don't mind it at all. I do prefer touching hairless legs and arms, this is true for myself as well, but I know just how much of a pain it is to do stuff like waxing, so I don't expect others to do it.
I think it's more of "what do I like?" and less "what can't I stand?" with these kinds of things. Most people are fairly tolerant.
If my armpit hair was bothering my girlfriend THAT much I'd probably shave it. But chicks with bush armpits just are not attractive to me. Its like this new dumb trend to just let the female body overgrow for no reason. Whats next, unibrows? 💀
Men take care of their facial hair and body hair management. I feel that it is just standard for a woman to keep her underarms looking pleasant, because it is a feature they tend to be showing often. Men are rarely just beefing out with their chesthair and armpit hair everywhere
Its not about anything but i always shave armpit jair for hygiene purpose like - that friend is confident thats good but it looks unhygenic (sorry i just shared my opinions like yall did😷)
@@jannatinelma148 when you shave you can make micro cuts in the skin and it gets infected more easily. however, if you grow a lot of body hair i do think it looks more pleasant to at least trim it, but it's about aesthetics, not hygiene at all.

I think I agreed on Yumi on lots of things esp hairs on men. I mean, as long as the men is clean, HYGIENIC and smell nice I don't see problem with hairs.. plus having hairs on body is SEXY.
For girls/lady probably some sees nonexistent hairs as beauty standard, but as for me it's same as i view on men. I don't like much hair on my body simply put to easier to clean my body and more hygienic..

i'm not trying to expose myself here but the fact that they didnt even need to discuss back hair, butt hair, legs hair shows how they hardly have problems with it genetically. i know body hair exist for a reason but it really kills my slef-esteem amongst other things. sure you back hair and butt hair can be hidden with cloth but i can never enjoy wearing backless/sleeveless bcs my hand have thick hairs too. let's not even bring up legs/thighs hair.

they didn't discuss leg hair 😳 maybe it's more prevalent in America to shave there? I grew up watching commercials about women shaving their legs, but they never mentioned armpits so I literally thought girls didn't grow it there. But I also thought all women kept their pubic hair bc of bathing w my mom and stuff as young kid. So I've always had a weird perception of it. Like why is shaving your legs expected but shaving your arms is odd? And why would armpit hair even matter if you can't see it until they lift their arms? I told my mom that I had never shaved my legs (while in front of my brother) and she called it disgusting 😬 and my sister and me stopped shaving our armpits bc it's a hassle and it felt forced on us and when we casually mentioned that in the deodorant isle at the store, she said "are you serious? I don't even know who you are anymore" and walked away... so obviously body hair has WAY too much importance in society. Literally just do whatever you want.

I (female) took after my dad and I am very hairy. I have stomach hair, neck hair, chin hair, hair on my knuckles and feet-and seeing as I'm white and my body hair very black, it's easily noticeable. I shave my mustache but it leaves my upper lip with a greenish blueish hue, I pluck my chin and neck hair or shave it depending on my laziness, and I shave when I feel like I have too much and it's making me uncomfortable or because I want to show some skin (sandals, tops that reveal the armpit area).
I don't shave my stomach or back, I just take care of the few strands on my tummy that are more coarse and out I go with my hairy tummy showing. I do it out of comfort and not because of the society standards, so for anyone that does do it because they are uncomfortable with their bodies or because they feel like they have to follow the beauty standards (sometimes it's inevitable like for work as an example), give it time and give take baby steps. Tummy hair? Put on a crop top and take a sweater that you can zip and unzip for your comfort level. Y'all got this!

i don't shave bc it's painful :( people make fun of girls with armpit and thigh-leg hair (well everywhere actually) & pubic hair is super uncomfortable for me. so i've been thinking about getting full body laser hair removal. it's expensive though 😖
I shave my armpits & pubic hair whenever they get too long because it's easier to clean when they're shorter. So I do it for hygiene purposes, not beauty, and I don't shave other places like arms and legs because the hair is not hindering me from cleaning those places. But I guess I have this lax mindset because I never wear short sleeves, pants, and skirts, so I never worry about people seeing my arms & legs hair.

yeah most koreans lack the gene where the bacteria is produced that causes sweatsmell. thats why they dont smell.
