    As many of our subscribers were complaining about the Text-To-Speech converter that we used, we uploaded a new version of the same video with human voice.
    Here is the link to it.

      +DIPAK DESAI - Thanks for your feedback. See, our primary concern was to focus on the content rather than spending time on voice processing and editing
      Maybe in future we will switch to human voice. Till then you will have to bear Joe and Jenny.

    The video is posted in 2016. How come you have data of information in the year 2018?

  • @karrotstick123
    @karrotstick123 8 років тому +6

    Be aware that at 1:50 when drawing the antennas for AMPS cells that the antennas are actually located at the edges of the cell not in the middle of the cell. This is a common misconception when drawing AMPS cells.

    • @LTE4G
      @LTE4G  8 років тому

      +Andrew Leonard - Ah! We didn't know that. Can you throw some light on it?

    • @karrotstick123

      I sent you an email

    • @bkjinesh
      @bkjinesh 8 років тому

      Andrew Leonard you are absolutely right...in every telecom generation we have cell at the corner of hexagonal boundary which means 1 tower will serve 3 cell.
      I think they have taken these photo from internet which depict wrong but may be easy to understand for laymen.

    • @LTE4G
      @LTE4G  8 років тому +3

      +Andrew Leonard Here is what I learned. Correct me if I am wrong.
      In Omni-directional antenna the tower is located at the centre of the cell.
      In 3 sectored tower, the tower is located at the corners. So each sector has its own cell or hexagon.
      Here is picture of it
      drive.google.com/file/d/0B8-HK-auon5cZXFpQV9PUnJXYXc/view?usp=drivesdk
      Thanks for your suggestion.

    • @ViniciusCunha
      @ViniciusCunha 7 років тому +1

      Sectoring cells (Base Station at the corner) is a technique that improves cell's capacity, it all depends on the solution for each area...
      It means that the cell splits in three (120 degrees), where you actually place one antenna for each sector.
      Sectoring one cell transmitts the same frequency by three different antennas on the top of the same tower.

  • @vinitshandilya
    @vinitshandilya 8 років тому +2

    Thanks a lot for the information. But I'd like to point out something here. In the video, I saw ePDG having a direct interface with SGW. I don't think this is the correct architecture. It is the PGW which serves as the mobility anchor point for movement between trusted and un-trusted accesses. The IPSec tunnel will directly extend from WiFi router to the PGW, without needing SGW.

    • @LTE4G
      @LTE4G  8 років тому +2

      Hi Vinit,
      As you have correctly pointed out that ePDG will direct connect to PGW, and SGW will never come into the picture for non 3GPP wifi access. i have blurred that interface in video. Our intention was to show the New simple architecture based on IP. in the later video we will surely take care of minute details. Thanks for pointing out.
      Stay tuned for upcoming videos. Happy Learning. :)

    Telecoms companies: good news, we're shutting down 2G and 3G so you'll never have to see that pesky E by your reception bars again
    Me: oh, cool, so you're finally gonna give my neighbourhood good 4G reception?
    Telecoms companies: uh, no... you just won't have any reception at all instead

      The mobile communication is mostly unicast. eMBMS was introduced in release 6 (pre LTE era) . Maybe we will make a video on eMBMS in near future. Till then stay with us. Happy Learning.
