4:51 the villager .... this is why I watch these videos 🤣🤣
Once I finally have a gaming PC, this game is on the top of the list to jump into.
Me too I just set up my gaming PC and I started a campaign
But Im realy Bad like in Rome 2 I had 3500 against 2500 and I Lost like a shit
Been playing with integrated graphics for years, let me tell you its soooo good when you can run it properly
@@MrGhostly12321 yea I have all settings and ultra and 2 settings on extreme
@@MrGhostly12321 There's not such thing as running Atilla properly. It has awful performance across the board. Compare to Rome 2 and its infuriating.
I love commentary like this 10:20 because thats exactly how my friends and I talk to each other when playing board games or video games or watching movies or learning history just trying imagine being in that situation it's unfathomable
Fekete Sereg means "Black Army" in hungarian. It was an elite mercenary army, raised by king Matthias Corvinus of Hungary.
Yeah. They kicked ass....
I believe they were also the first professional army to have handheld guns.
@@RestitutorEuropa not the first but certainly the most equipped with such weapons during that time
You probably wont see this but your video always put a smile on my face and i needed this one my uncle passed away this weekend
Ja Ja Ja Ja Ja. I love when you speak German. I can confirm that they would have said exactly that ^^. Greetings from Germany.
7:59 look at that solider coming down from the walls
In Czech (Bohemia) panoš (panose) was sort of a knight in training, but also a servant. It was a young noble who served other noble, who was a knight, until he learned everything he needed to become a knight himself.
Sounds a lot like a squire
5:15 !!!LIFE OF A SOLDIER ALERT!!!
@16;57 you asked who that was on one of the shield designs, well it's Saint George and the Dragon. It's an Engish saint, it is also the patron saint of the Northumberland Fusiliers.
St George is patron saint of England but he wasn't English. He's probably the most popular patron Saint: England, Catalonia, Moscow, Georgia and others...
hes the patron saint of all soldiers
The man literally did even use his archers and crossbows and his general horses .
Holy, that guy gotta be brave to use the mace
There were war hammers in the medieval period that were used very similarly to maces
poor lady lol love your videos man your my fav youtuber
Great vid, as always
Hey bro cmon we gotta go to war
Nah I forgot my torso at home, I can’t go
Hey don’t worry nobody is gonna notice
You think so? You know I’m self conscious about it.
Dude, I have been waiting for another siege commentary for a while now and, thank the old gods and the new, you delivered
Yo I miss game of thrones
As a medieval festival attendee I must say the mace is a weapon meant to break your shielded adversary armor and shield glad I'm suited in Samurai Armor
This whole statement is cringe, I go to festivals 🤣🤣🤣
I'll see you next year friend.
Yeah a mace was designed to break your body and if your armored to liquify you in your armor not much fun
If your amor won't protect you then your bones will lol
St George is celebrated in England on the anniversary of his death, 23rd April. The the red cross on the flag of England is derived from the St George Cross and is also part of the Union Jack.
Union Flag, mate. It's only called the Union Jack when it flies at sea
@@tommytaylor2084 lol
The best ever
You are just good at this
That is not a German symbol, but it is a Hungary Emblem
Always love the shields.
Finally really good videon 😘😘😘
May we always remember the lady with the pitchfork
Had to restart the video, thought he said , "he wasn't known for offering anime merch!"
4:54 Hungarian Joan of arc
"Deadliest Warrior" gives a decent look at damage.
Pixie, when are you gonna upload more napoleon total war 3? its been a while.
Saint George was an early medieval Greek Orthodox saint
hey i did full contact medival combat like a sport and i got sworts and axes swing at me and yeah thy axes hurt like shit but overall even just a gambeson is a realy good armor that stops alot of realy bad hits and you cant get cut in it so yeah i dont wanne get hit with a mace
Hey apollo i am just wondering when is the next episode of wartales?
Who said Siege battle is boring? It is a beauty of warfare
That generals speech leaves me in confusion
petition to feature more villagers in apollo's videos
Great intro!
Great video. Keep up the work man 👍
St George German??! He's an English Saint, though not born in England XD. Never heard the song "keep Saint George in my heart keep me English"?
YES! MEDIEVAL KINGDOMS! YES!
I always thought flails were terrifying weapons too. Basically the same as a mace I suppose, but with a chain whip involved 💀
Highly impractical, a mace is better
Flails where never used, plus if they where they would be very impractical
only the two handed so called peasant flails were used in war.
it is highly improbable that the chain and mace was ever used since its short handle could put you in danger of hitting yourself.
I wonder if one of the Bohemian soldiers were hungry
Oh-my-emperor.
Maybe a large rome siege battle next with a roman faction? :D
Rip Gram Gram, brave warrior of Bohemia, a hero
Maces were mostly made to dent armor and crush into it better than a axe. Causing concussions and eventually your Dented armor is gonna go into you Causing obvious pain and bleeding and death.
Hey Pixel the great war mod had a new update do you plan on checking it out sometime?
Total war Napoleon the great war mod? The full version came out
UNLEASH THE GATES OF HELL !!!
Henry of Skalitz getting revenge
yea i never split my forces. I lose troops even when im not having to micro a lot with 20 stack armies
axes were so advance they forged them till they are invisible

First video as a married man, I think? Unless this was filmed beforehand. Idk, congrats either way!
1:57 lol the "ouzaytsss" ? Who are they ? They were the "hussites" (hoosseets).
2:04 lol the "kingdom of hungry" hungry for battle for sure but pronounce "hun-ga-ry" ;=))
Apollo bro I think it is not a bad idea to play 1212ad campaign.

I guess Apollo was Hungry 🤌🤌🤌
Sigfrued is the one who killed a dragon in German mythology
First
Another great video by Apollo
Mace a.k.a human cheese maker
A mace is just a metal club getting hit with a stick hurts now imagine it made of metal and weights 20 pounds
Napoleon when?
what game is this?
🔥🤟
Cool
Funny guy.
Bohemia stronk, László weak.
welll no fucking shit
Hello there
General Kenobi!
"Panos" (should be written "Panoš" but whatever) is essencially a squire/lower nobility
(And its pronounced Panosh, sh like in Shakira)
DEI Ep 7 please
I love 1212 therefore Im sad to see that this replay was chosen. A 1v1 between new players, the defender already having the advantage at the beginning of the battle (and that is even worse after the sally out look at that balance of power...). Wasn't close or of any historical interest. I'd rather see some of the larger and closer battles that someone sent on the discord replay channel or some historical scenario. But even with all of that you still made the content enjoyable which is why I keep watching !
what a waste of troups at the beginning.. oh man
defender playing against ai
WTF
That emblem on Shield with 3 mounties and krucific
That is knight from Slovakia
Look at Slovak flag
The emblem is originally Hungarian. Slovakia ripped it off.
We need Rome total war remastered.. new patch video
Must have been a rigged battle because "defenders never win"
Hi
