Nuzlocke is a combination of Nuzleaf and John Locke, based off of a webcomic which proposed a set of rules for a harder Pokémon game. It’s very fun, and I’d recommend checking out the og comic just to see what the original rules were
You got a link to the original comment? I'm too lazy to actually find it myself.
@Jisatsu idk man, if you can just turn off the lights, why do you get someone else to do it for you?
@Jisatsu just an example, yknow? someone else would do what i just mentioned, it's a human thing to ask someone else to do something for them despite how simple it is
Thanks for mansplaining random youtube commenter
@Tobiah-koa yeah, but, say, if they don’t care enough, they’ll simply say “Got a link?”
They care enough to where they’d click a provided link but not to search it themself
It’s like if you have a good idea where, say, your keys are, but your friend KNOWS where they are, so you ask if they’ll grab them. If they say no and just tell you where they are, cool, you can do it yourself, but if they DO do it, neat, you didn’t have to do it yourself and had someone assist you in grabbing your keys idfk

Spiff, if you’re going to do this again, I have a small piece of advice: If you have a debuffer on your team, don’t switch between debuffs. Only spam the one. The debuffs don’t last long enough to cycle between them, so you can’t keep an enemy permanently slowed, with reduced defense and attack all at once with a single debuffer. So if you have somebody with 3 debuff moves, only use the attack or speed reduce.

A lot of the hate towards this game also came from the fact that nothing was explained in the early versions, no descriptions on how skills or anything works, so even if you liked this type of games it still was a pretty bad expierience
From what I remember tho I played the game very early but there was already a wiki that the fans made explaining what every single move does
This is generally the problem with Scott's old games he never explains to you what you should do and that applies to fnaf too.
@@nothinginteresting7558 Having to check an out-of-game wiki for the most basic information you could want is not only slow and annoying but also some of the worst game design that I've seen in decades of gaming. The original Final Fantasy gave you better in-game information (in an era when shoving everything into a game guide sold separately and calling it a day wasn't even that uncommon!) and it came out for the Famicom in 1987.
When you fail at one of the most basic elements of UX harder than a game 30 years your senior, why should anyone be surprised it got hate? It wasn't more jumpscare lore sim for the kids, and it certainly wasn't a good RPG for those so inclined. FNAF World is still a horribly designed game to this day, but at least the current version is tolerable if you're used to mediocre RPGs.
Also i do like rpgs butt this one's battle systems is just attack heal, the worlds are bland and boring and the game doesn't give you a story/motivation to get going, fredbear is just like explore lol butt i am glad this game exists because the animations of the animatronics are so cute and lively at one point it feels like he made this game to tell people my characters can be cute shut the fuck up.
@@AnglosArentHuman Dude I needed to check basic gameplay info in a wiki even for fnaf 6. Most if not all Scott games lack that, it's a problem of the fnaf franchise not Fnaf World in itself. And since most people that played the game are fnaf fans, they should not be surprised
The way I see it, you'll either need to Unscrew both Scott and the Owl (the chances of doing both of these successfully in a row is probably somewhere in the thousands), while intentionally keeping both Endo 2 and Endoplush on the backup team for the rest of the game to level them without endangering their lives, since they're required to even pretend your teams can survive both fights without giftboxes, or allow giftboxes, while still potentially deleting any characters who used giftboxes after the fight is over. This is because both the Owl and Scott are almost certainly going to kill your entire team if their fights are allowed to go for their standard length, multiple times over for Scott's fight particularly.
From what I remember, the big source of backlash on this game was from the fact it was an RPG that lacked a lot of basic facts of an RPG such as: viewing stats, seeing what moves do, an element/ weakness system to prevent spamming. It came as a game made for the designer, because Scott already knew what everything did and how it worked but didn't allow the player to see. This game did not have a guide of any sort in its files to act as an "instruction booklet" either.
I would say beating security counts as a win, considering how impossible Scott is without gift boxes lmao
I don't see how spiff isn't gonna kill all of the animatronics and this nuzlocke. Keep up the good work spiff
He don't know about run
@@ХристинаДенева-щ1л Running isn’t allowed in the rules he set.
2:20 On launch, it was much less polished than it eventually became. One particular complaint people had is that it did not match the game that was advertised, as the pseudo-3D overworld that was shown in the trailer was not in the game on initial launch, and was instead replaced by atari-like pixel-art. Other criticisms included the inability to see what moves your animatronics had outside of battle, inability to see stats and levels, and the flashy particle-hell that battles tended to become. It wasn't _just_ because it "wasn't a regular FNaF game".
@@richardderatte6672 I mean, regardless everyone dogpiled on this game like it was offensive to them or something. It was honestly ridiculous how much hate this game got, and how much hate scott got for making it. He legit got death threats for even having it available to be purchased!
no the hate is just because it isn't a regular fnaf fangame
@@kingacrisius for whatever fucking reason people really have just wanted to find some way to send that poor man death threats, between shitting on him for a game he wanted to make for the fun of it and digging up old-ass financial history and borderline doxxing him, this dude (and his family) can't catch a goddamn break it seems. I honestly feel incredibly bad for him, I hope he's doing ok right now, he's never deserved the shit people give him imo. Constructive criticisms and helping people be aware of things are good, but harassing people does nothing to actually better them or help them improve.
as someone who played the game when it had the pixel art i think it fit a little better. if it was advertised differently people would not complain about that i’m sure lol.
@@aspenx-qc3rm Yeah, I also preferred the pixel art overworld. It felt more FNAF to me
I'm genuinely stoked to see someone taking the side of Fnaf World. I've always been one of the seemingly few people that actually liked it. Objectively I have to admit that it isn't a _good_ game (until Update 2 that is) but people hated it with a PASSION! I think it's fun and stupid and occupies a neat and otherwise unexplored corner of the fnaf franchise. And I myself actually only came to like fnaf after its _first_ update was released and everyone thought the series would die with this as its last claim to fame so it's not like I don't have context for what that's like. I was stoked as anyone to see SL psuedo announced through it but I again feel in the minority of appreciating the references to Scott's other works (COFFEE MY LOVE) and even fnaf world's past with Purplegeist, as well as the new additions to the game itself. So yeah. Keep on keeping on making content for this game and helping people accept its place in fnaf history.
Btw time to get even more side-tracked and ranty but the only reason I call fnaf world a "not good" game is because I *_know_* Scott can do better RPGs than that. Like, of the camps of people I'm in, "Fnaf World fan" is only top 3 most obscure at best and is definitely topped by "Indivisible fan" (underrated but unrelated so I won't elaborate unless prompted) and "The Desolate Hope fan". Most fnaf fans don't know what the fuck I'm talking about and fnaf superfans are likely vaguely aware of TDH at best, specifically from fnaf world and its most obscure addition in Update 2: Coffee. The Desolate Hope is a... Platformer sidescroller metroidvania active RPG? I think? It's a very _unique_ game. There's actually a pretty good amount of depth in the virus fights and has a better plot than, if nothing else, Security Breach, and while it's dare I say Soulsian levels of cryptic about its mechanics, there's exactly One (1) amazing resource that compiles basically everything to know about the game, found in the Steam community guides section. Speaking of, the game is free on steam. It's old and pretty jank but when you get past trying to do platforming where shoot and jump are hard mapped to X and Z while on a QWERTZ (not QWERTY) keyboard there's a lot of fun to be had. Extra note: TDH is actually a sequel to another one of Scott's games with really similar gameplay by the name of The Desolate Room and while I've only played it a little I heard good things about it so don't be afraid to check that one out too, it's free on Scott's gamejolt. However the games don't share continuity or even necessarily a universe so don't feel the need to play them in order. Or at all. I'm not your mom you can do whatever you want.
Eyyy The Desolate Hope fan! I gotta finish watching someone play through that game honestly. It's kinda fucking wack the sorta shit Scott made before FNAF. Have you SEEN his early movies he'd made? Fucking Saberspark reviewed one of Scott's old Christian-based movies and the whole thing is so shittily rendered, but then suddenly the demon was SO detailed and horrifying, you can really see how Scott got into horror designs even that early on!
how did I read all that omg you wrote a lot
you can be my mom if you want tho
Really such a shame this game was abandoned because the ways lore and foreshadowing was implemented was honestly pretty cool
Man, personally I really liked the game when it came out, I still enjoy up to this day. I think the main thing for me was just the general visual design of the animatronics and getting the Nightmare gang was really enough for me to say I won.
With my current knowledge of game design and philosophy (which is close to none but at least I know some basics), this game doesn't really hold up a lot, and sometimes the cons weigh more than the pros, but it won't stop me from enjoying the Nightmare gang all over again.
Same here. I can tell this game isn’t *good* by any game design standpoint, but h*ck, it’s a fun time all around. I’ve enjoyed it every now and then since it came out.

Y’know I come back every now and then to rewatch some of Spiff’s videos & I just realized how fitting it was that Spiff lost at Scott. In the original Nuzlocke comic, the main character lost against the final boss/champion of the game (pokemon Ruby), Steven Stone. People sometimes think you should never lose a nuzlocke, but even the original nuzlocke ended in failure.

Hey spiff, i have a few tips: you can use F2 to restart the game to the main menu, (you can exp grind easily with this especially with Auto chipper), Unscrew can kill bosses (but with a really low chance) but Unscrew 2 has a higher chance. Endo 01 and 02 are useful due to how much damage the endo army do once you weaken the enemy (they can crit), i think that's all
I thought unscrew 2 was the exact same as unscrew except it does it twice?
@@kingacrisius nah, it doesn't do it twice, but it has a higher chance though

Crit is something a move like Eye Beam can do

Meanwhile Moves like ESC Key and the Unscrew's will Instakill the enemy no matter the Enemy's health
@@kinggalaxyknightkgk2089 yeah my bad, but i'm still pretty sure only unscrew 2 can kill bosses, BUT if i'm wrong, then i'll just try actually unscrew a boss. Because i know that unscrew 2 works as i have done all pre update 2bosses, so i'll try to.

a pokemon nuzlocke doesnt exactly mean no deaths. it means that when a pokemon faints, it's "dead" and can no longer be used throughout the entire run. if i remember correctly, the exact rules are:
- you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter in the wild. if the pokemon faints or flees, there are no second chances.
- if a pokemon faints, you either release them or put them into the box. bottomline is, you can never use them again during the entire challenge.
- (this isnt an **actual** rule, but one of those ones that are universally acknowledged and tend to be used regardless) any pokemon you catch must be named so the player can form a stronger emotional bond with the pokemon.

The Avatar sex scene didn't have the connecting-their-hair-thing in the original release. It was added in an extended edition much later. So it's not so much that it was censored, more that they just didn't use the extended version of the movie.
Also the hair thing is not how they have sex. They have sex the same way we do. They're just able to improve the experience by linking their minds together in a positive feedback loop.

@@KaiTheMemeKing I mean he explained it correctly? If you're talking about the stream clip, he cut it out of the video since he had already explained it in the intro.
@@kingacrisius nah, nuzlocke doesnt mean "self imposed challenge". @@PointsofData those... are effectively self imposed challenges tho? I mean, nobody in their right mind would play through pokemon if those rules were forced upon them on their first playhrough.
Now sure, nuzlocke in it's basic form is: any pokemon that die is dead and can't be used anymore and only one pokemon per route, no second chances.
Other than that the rest is self imposed and serves to make the nuzlocke more difficult
@@minescape1309 you have no idea how many "self imposed challenges" there are when it comes to pokemon runs. Beating the game with certain types, beating the game with only one pokemon, beating the game with the least amount of battles, beating the game with no items ever, beating the game with the team of a specific character...so so many. Nuzlocke does not encompass all of these. To say that it _technically_ means self imposed challenge is semantics. It means a very specific kind of run. When you talk to a video game Pokemon fan about a nuzlocke run you're doing, you both instantly know what's being talked about.
It's like saying the definition of "speedrunning" is "playing a game".
2:19 Actually, when it first came out, the game had a 2D overworld. Despite Scott making a joke in a teaser about how he tends to release games early, people still thought of it as rushed. It seems like reception improved once the 3D overworld was implemented (even if you got it on Steam before it was removed), but by that point, even Scott turned on the game after Update 2. There WAS a short-lived mobile port where Fredbear and 8-Bit Fredbear's dialogue was changed from helpful to self-deprecating (so if that was your first time playing, good luck trying to figure out what to do and what's going on), but as the word "short-lived" implies, it was quickly removed from the App Store and/or Google Play.
At least the game is still available and now costs as much as FNAF 6 and UCN (which is, to say, nothing, not even ads or microtransactions).
Amazon is currently actually having employment issues because their business practices and hiring and firing practices basically mean they've already hired most of the people on the planet that they could hire for the jobs they need done, and because they don't do repeat hires for people who have been fired. When Fnaf World released, I actually really loved it because of the rpg and turn-based combat aspects. Definitely a fun game if you aren't looking at a scary aspect of the Fnaf Series
Spiff slowly becoming one of my favorite streamers and I'm all for it
The phrase "I tried to hit [the golf ball] like a baseball" should have told chat that you don't golf lmao
Love this content, haven't seen anyone play fnaf world in years but this is an actually good challenge idea.
about the avatar stuff: The hair holds something called a queue and protects it, basically it amplifies emotions and feelings, helping to connect on a deeper level with whatever is being bonded with
How I think the avatar hair thing works is that it forms a mental convention between the two parties, that's why any bond with the hair connection is seen as sacred, especially the hair sex, because you're not only letting someone into your body, but into your mind.
This guy's a legend.
Every time I think "no way he's gonna make it" he proves me wrong and I think of myself as a joke cuz I'm never gonna do it.
Stay amazing man.
u too bro
fnaf world nuzlocke? Genius. I love this
Honestly you should be able to use gift boxes. The animatronics don't play a death animation and just jump back to health at the moment they WOULD die
also some of the later boss fights are frustratingly hard without a way to resurrect your party, i believe. like, certain bosses may wipe his party numerous times over, and he won't be able to do much about it without boxes.
I would say, gift boxes are legal, but if an animatronic dies fully (gravestone) then they're considered out at the end of the battle, and if there's a way to avoid taking turns with them other than no longer using gift boxes so that
I would love to see a part 2 of this if possible, Found you like 2 days ago but already one of the most enjoyable content creators I've found so far.
Spiff in the previous episode: Fnaf is finally scary!
Spiff in this episode: Fnaf world, cute Fnaf!

"Were not even losing health."
Says this as Phantom Freddy nearly dies
I love it when a video starts with a watermelon killing your guy
You’re really into the hair sex scene in Avatar, almost as much as the clown in Pizza Sim.
Are you not into the clown from Pizza Sim?
@@crunch.dot.73 well who isn’t. But this guy made several videos around the clown game.
When he was begging for withered freddy not to have unscrew, I laughed so hard knowing the outcome TT
Withered Bonnie: I love drinking pee. Me: oh hell nah I’m never coming to this bathroom ever again!
Your content is always such a treat
*cutely crawls outve the ground to watch your video despite seeing the vod*
Fun fact! The first ever Nuzlocke was in one of the Gen 3 Pokemon games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald if i'm not mistaken) and wiped to the Champion after the E4
(also the word nuzlocke comes from the pokemon nuzleaf and not a person)
Yeah, was sure it was nuzleaf and something else
I feel like you could allow the bottom row characters from the halloween update, but with a twist:
If you lose at the game to unlock them, you don't get another try. If you lose at that game even once, you cannot try to get that character again.
RSQ AND WITHERED BONNIE, lasted til the end and watched all their brothers fall. Despite that, RSQ was not in the final team.
If I do this challenge, I am 100% letting myself run and get the bottom row characters.
bottom row is litteraly cheating,i think you should use them if they are the ONLY option
yeahhhhhh bottom row characters aren’t *supposed* to be unlocked until *after* the scott fight. the secret path to the halloween area is only there so people who don’t have their save anymore didn’t have to play the whole game to unlock the new content. That’s like saying “I’m gonna play a Pokémon nuzlocke, except I can go catch Arceus at the start with a master ball”
@@CabinetGremlin more like
"I'm going to play new game + nuzlock
@@CabinetGremlin I haven't played FNAF world, so I dont know the brokeness of the bottom row characters, buf arceus isnt that much stronger that other legendaries/psuedo legendaries in the game. It'd still be pretty easy to lose. (unless it's maxed level, but you could do any nuzlocle no diff with almost all other pokemon in that case)
@@bobjustbob2063 i havent either, but seeing as you could fill up the whole team itd probably be akin to starting with a full team of 6 ubers
What a good way to start your morning
gonna love the Pokemon Challenges reaction to this one!
The thing is, I think the reason Disney+ “censored” the hair connection in Cameron’s Avatar is because Disney+ only has the original theatrical cut, which seems to be a common practice for streaming services, and the hair connecting isn’t in the theatrical cut.
I know this because I own all 3 cuts of Cameron’s Avatar, with the non-theatrical cuts having a lot more stuff that was finished but cut out prior to release so they could keep it PG-13. Hell, I remember first hearing about the “deleted ponytail sex scene” around the time Avatar was getting a special re-release in theaters, which included it in what’s since been called the “Special Edition” cut.
My preferred viewing experience is the 3-hour Extended Cut created for the home media release, which also includes an entire opening sequence on Earth that was cut from both the Theatrical and Special Edition cuts.
@(Insert a name) Because I wanted to point out that Disney wasn’t actively censoring the movie. They were censoring it while being lazy about it.
14:53 usually i've had popcorn *popped* in vegetable oil, and that's usually ok with some salt or parmesan cheese, but i've also had popcorn with Coconut oil, and that i would wholeheartedly recommend as a substitute, it was very sweet and the kind i had was seasoned with pink salt, very tasty
DarkSpliffAU be like:
"Hello and Welcome to what is hopefully my last attempt at completing FNAF World without my whole party dying. My characters have a max life of 1, so any death of a character will be permanent."
What?
@@kingacrisius There's this Austrailian Speedrunner called DarkViperAU who does this series called "One Hit K.O" in GTA, figured a changed version of his intro would fit here 😊
@@SciaticCoast89 You know I think I may have watched that lol, I remember something along those lines.
I like the idea of Spinoff FNAF titles that take the characters out of their horror narrative....FNAF World just...seemed a bit meh in terms of design. It looks like a fan-game instead of an official game. Personally I like the idea of an action-adventure/action-rpg where you can take parts from animatronics you fight and beat and sort of create your own by mixing them up and possibly recoloring them. And also using non-cosmetic parts from them to upgrade your robot.
Fan game? The animations are smooth as butter and the character models are very impressive, honestly,it just needs some polish in the gameplay because as you said, the concept is really good and that's still here to draw players in. There's a really good turn based RPG that's a parody of fnaf with it's own lore, it's called five nights at f boys,it got a remake called the complete collection,go try it, scrub.
