Good on you Sean! I’ve been rediscovering running recently and have been loving it, however I have managed to shatter my clavicle by coming off my bike! I will rewatch this film in 6 weeks when I am allowed to run! 🏃🏻♂️ Best wishes, Simon Conway (perhaps a distant relative?!)
Reminds me of a British Beau Miles. Would be good to see you do the 24hr Marathon - check it out. You've got a similar style and to put your own spin on it would be great to see. Keep em coming.
Sean, from across the pond, congratulations on an absolutely terrific video documentary. At 72 yrs old and still running after 30 yrs your observations of just enjoying the run are spot on. I’ve run deserts and mountains. It’s amazing what you see in your environment when things slow down and your out just to enjoy wherever you may be.
A good friend sent me the link to this. Great timing. Today is a running day. I had just got home from some errands and mixed my pre-work shake..I sat down to drink it and saw the mi with the link.. I recently stated running again..I hadn't ran in many years. I will 60 in 3 months. This was a great fun story and good motivation. Thanks Marissa and funny running guy.
I enjoyed this alot thank you for preparing it. Inspired me to run different courses daily. I live in a city with no trails so really enjoyed the area where u are able to run.
So inspiring Sean. When I started running, I started because I had to loose some weight. A year later I'm running because I love to run. And like you said, it's all about the adventures now. Love it!
Loved this a lot! Your challenge was awesome, your poem was so great, and I laughed so hard at the dinosaur run! Especially the way the cows reacted. Motivation to keep running is a struggle and you made it look so enjoyable. Goings to end this to my running buddies.
Brilliant film Sean and i know that area well! You’ve done well to find any flat routes around there. I fell out of love with running too and this week I’ve started to run again. Definitely bay steps for me. Well done and keep making great content.
You're a free soul brother. You literally have no limitations to your ideas and thoughts. I enjoyed the video and running in that T rex inflated toy was hilarious.
What a fab little video you can get caught up in competition so much you forget the joy it actually brings just to run .. that’s where I am currently and I’m falling back in love Again with the sport
Just came across this video now.........fantastic , brilliant stuff. I have just run 700kms in the month of May 2023 and was an epic adventure across England and Wales and like you I absolutely fell in love with running because of the adventure..........
Sean, you've hit the nail square on the head with this video. So many people get so caught up with pace, hr, vo2, trying to get that sub-3 , 4 ,5 hour whatever race they doing...But they lose the point of it all- to have fun, the thrill of traversing the landscape in the purest form there is, to adventure! Keep on rollin'!
Well done Sean, and thanks for sharing.I really enjoyed watching the video during my treadmill run. I’ve been slowly trying to fall back in love with running after being quite unwell the last few years. I’ve been building back up the fitness slowly but surely. I started with a 6 minute jog and I’ve added a minute per day. Today was my first 45 minute jog after years and I’m so happy. Fingers crossed I can stay well and get fit and healthy again. Well done on your journey and thanks again for sharing.
Sean, you are such an inspiration. And the same time you succeed in staying so normal and kind. And funny :-) Wish we all could have a little bit of Sean in us ;-)
Little misty-eyed here. Sure this is a great film and all that. But this is really a love letter to yourself, to your family, and to all of us. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing Sean. You always inspire and motivate both in physical challenges (sea swimming is my thing) but more importantly in the positive mindset. This helps me more than words can say. Thanks again.
This was a very unique way to get back the love of running very entertaining to say the least lol. Kudos to you sir a great idea and thanks for sharing. Wade from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada!
Great film, great challenge!!! My wife and I are all over that! Starting Sunday, going to try and think of our own tasks/ideas for each run, though it’s going to be hard for me to not do the trash one-thought that was brilliant.
Great video heard you talking to teapotone yesterday so after listening to you talk about this adventure I’d thought I’d give it a watch and it’s very inspirational
Really enjoyed watching this again... and now I've printed out a schedule to run a 496 (might have to be March....) but who knows I might just find a day and start...!!
Hey Sean, loved the film. I'm new to running and just really enjoyed watching this. I belly laughed a few times throughout the film. Thanks for your efforts. Ps the motivation graph has really helped me.
Great effort mate. Glad you have your mojo back. I do this in month of November since 2013, but in miles 1-30. I have to add more adventures though ;-)
Oh dear. I live just a few miles away, on the other side of the Clwydians, and have thought, on any number of occasions when out on a run or bike ride "Hey, that looks like the weird beardie bloke who did the great youtube video of JOGLE a few years ago". And now I find out it probably was you all along - unless there is another similar beard in the area ! See you on Pen Clodd sometime !
That blue pipe you pulled up at 06:02 is actually a bit of old pipe left as a marker for the water companies, helps them locate buried valves in rural areas.Just FYI haha
Im really proud of this film and the 496 challenge. Thank you to all who followed me throughout.
We need a tour of that shed!!
The big question on everyones minds, did you keep going?? Cracking effort!!
Brilliant video 😎 Thanks for inviting me and others along for the challenge it was great fun to do the #496 challenge 👍
@@Escapaid Hahaha. No, but I wish I had.

Exactly what I thought. 😁
100% agree!|
It’s because they both are gingers haha
Yeah, they both have a beard.
Spot on.
Running in the dinosaur costume made me laugh out loud. What a great challenge this was! Well done!
British Beau Miles for the win!

Probably the most imaginative and inspiring video about running I've ever seen

Great work as normal Sean. Thatd inspired me to run tomorrow for the sake of the journey and not the time or distance. Thanks.
Absolutely fantastic & such a great achievement. What a cool genuine guy aswell 👏
What a perfect little film. Reminds me to get back to my 'running roots' and just enjoy the journey that it takes you on.
Absolutely - was just thinking the same
You're a free soul brother. You literally have no limitations to your ideas and thoughts. I enjoyed the video and running in that T rex inflated toy was hilarious.

Nice inspiration you gave ...and still a nice amount of km's at the end of the month ✌️✌️
Really well done on an awesome film Sean.
Thanks for sharing Sean. You always inspire and motivate both in physical challenges (sea swimming is my thing) but more importantly in the positive mindset. This helps me more than words can say. Thanks again.
Great content as always Sean.
Great video, hell of a challenge, especially with all the snow. Not easy running in snow at all. 👍
Interesting approach to motivating yourself, so simple yet so insidious, might just have to try it.
Great job. The ice bath was above and beyond.
Very well done, video and challenge. Cheers mate!
Beautiful, well edited and inspiring
Enjoyed that alot! . . .had a laugh when you said you were doing 27km but on the flat as a recovery day . . .ha ha . ..its still 27 bloomin km!!!
Loved it. I'm having my own lack of motivation. Just need to keep the faith
Perfect Mr. Conway. I admire you. Best regards.. :)
Captured the highs and lows of running perfectly!
This was a very unique way to get back the love of running very entertaining to say the least lol. Kudos to you sir a great idea and thanks for sharing. Wade from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada!
Loved the challenge of this. I’m not a runner but going to take the idea up for hiking.
I enjoyed this. Biggest takeaway was the skill vs motivation graph. Getting out that valley is hard.
That graph is not correct, on the x-axis is the time and both motivation and skill are on the y-axis. But anyway, the reasoning is still correct.
Beautiful vlog, thank you
Great film, great challenge!!! My wife and I are all over that! Starting Sunday, going to try and think of our own tasks/ideas for each run, though it’s going to be hard for me to not do the trash one-thought that was brilliant.
Very inspirational. Love the idea. I am going to do it.
Super excited for this challenge in the future
A good adventure idea and target while we are staying local in lockdown. Looking forward to your next adventure.

This is amazing! What a great guy :D
Fantastic video, well done
That was a great video
Starting tomorrow, I aim do this 496 challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey Sean, loved the film. I'm new to running and just really enjoyed watching this. I belly laughed a few times throughout the film. Thanks for your efforts. Ps the motivation graph has really helped me.
Wow, I am so happy for once someone did nit spoke about time and pacing a run. This is it! Enjoy running for what it is truly.
Very inspiring! Thanks!
Great effort mate. Glad you have your mojo back. I do this in month of November since 2013, but in miles 1-30. I have to add more adventures though ;-)
Great challenge very motivational love the ice Tub
Good film ... Great job!
Well done!
Thanks Al

Motivating and uplifting video man!!
Great video amazing places you ran around
Thanks. It really helped me. Specially the part of motivation vs skill.
Brilliant Sean! Just what i needed to boost my mojo.
That blue pipe you pulled up at 06:02 is actually a bit of old pipe left as a marker for the water companies, helps them locate buried valves in rural areas.Just FYI haha
Awesome video. The fitness will come in handy when you’re fighting the White Walkers again.
This is gold! ❤️🏃♂️🦖
