@TheMagicGhostbuster I have plenty of Ghostbusters merchandise too. I still own an empty can of The Real Ghostbusters Pasta from Heinz. I have a lot of toy equipment by Kenner. Even The Extreme Ghostbusters I collect.

I may have missed it but do you not have the "Ghostbuster Conan" Funko Pop? I have a major Ghostbusters collection too. My hat is off to you because you definitely have a few items that I don't. Great collection, man. That's a big Twinkie.
Thanks :) I don't have that one. Never really seen it at a price I was willing to pay really. Shipping don't help either as it wasn't available in the UK.
Blimey Darren, you won’t remember my comment from god knows when, but have you found a vintage ghostbusters bop bag toy yet? I had a stay puffed one but no one else remembers it, it was real I tells ya 😂, brilliant collection I had the stay puffed watch I got it in 89 for my birthday
I do actually remember that comment!! One did come up on eBay but a friend of mine was desperate for it, so I let him bid without me pushing it up. He has done the same for me. It wasn't the Stay Puft one you mentioned!
I found two sealed copies of the original ghostbusters on Betamax yesterday. Are they worth anything or should I throw them away?
Hey. I'm not really up to date with current values but they are definitely worth money and def don't throw them away.
I'd say list them on ebay but unless you're desperate for cash I'd wait until the build up to the next film is in full swing. Prices on some stuff went crazy around the time of Afterlife.
I would pay to do a walk through there’s some things I’d love to hold
I’d love the ecto glows, but the prices are crazy, I actually really like the design of the suits, to get one at least would be good
I'm really hoping the prices drop back down to realistic levels soon. Before Afterlife they'd only go for £100-£150 each.

I have the Slimer Tea Cakes but i never knew Stay Puft versions existed
The Stay Puft ones were a lot harder to find. They actually appeared in some shops before the Slimer ones but only seems to pop up in a few then vanished. My local shops that sold these had loads of the Slimer, but I ended up having to the get the Stay Puft ones online.
Hey, how much more yellow is your Blitzway Ecto 1 now? Just curious. I have one and it has not yellowed at all yet 🤞🏻
It hasn't got any worse which is good. I have actually just boxed it up for now. Space was getting low and I need to prepare for Frozen Empire merch :) This was easier to put away than the Eaglemoss Ecto 1. When I eventually get out again I might try that retro bright stuff. Will see, I need to do more research as I've never used it before.

How did you paint the Mattel Matty stay putt??? Is the paint holding? I need to do the same thing. Please let me know what you did. Thanks in advance.
If I remember correctly it was a brand called plastidip. A white spray paint. I must have done it about 10 years ago, it wasn't to long after it came out. It's held up very well. It had split at the seams but not noticeable on my shelf. I'm surprised the body and head are still fine after all this time.
@@TheMagicGhostbuster The yellowing was mainly a problem on the legs and arms. It seems like Matty used a different material or paint for the head and body. I purchased 3 of these. All 3 yellowed only on the legs and head. When you say it split at the seems, was it due to the plasticdip paint? I noticed that mine are splitting as well. These toys are very fragile. I would love to see more images of your stay puft. At the moment I only have 1 Matty stay puft. I kept the one with the less yellowing. I purchased 3 because of the yellowing issue, since Mattel said at one point they had corrected the problem on a new batch. I kept buying in hopes of getting one from the supposed new batch
@@vonburemann9942 I don't think it's the paint, pretty sure it's the foam splitting. I really wish these companies would use the same white material on products. Blitzway ecto 1 is yellowing on the body, not the doors. If it was consistent wouldn't be as noticeable. Seem to remember having a stormtroopers figure as well where it was just arms ans legs.
Personally I never believed that Matty Collector fixed the problem. Thought the people who ran it where untrustworthy.
epic this has been a long time coming also I wanted to say don't think this takes away future content mate you can still do all your individual profiles on the gear as you have been. great to see an overview though for sure. I'm also most interested in that Ghostbusters 2 Cracker set. very cool! IT's an epic collecion

Out of ALL the great, rare, cool Ghostbusters stuff you have I’m most jealous of your photo with Bret Hart.
That was at a little independent show a friend of mine was running. He did a little speech at the beginning then punched the local heel then put them in the Sharpshooter. He was a really nice guy.

I was already an adult (22) when the original film came out , so I missed out on all the cool toys
I was only 1 when the first film came out so perfect age for the toys when they arrived with the cartoon. GB2 was the first film I saw at the cinema.

Hey, afraid not. Haven't seen them anywhere for a while now here in the UK. Hopefully someone can comment that's seen them about but I'd suggest checking any local collectors shops.
The Kenner remakes are pretty affordable now on eBay. There’s a bunch of lots where each figure is essentially 10 bucks and the ecto1 usually goes for $30.
I got really lucky and got a lot that included all 4 ghostbusters, Stay Puft, Slimer, Bug Eye, Fearsome Flush, And the Ecto1 for $100 with free shipping.
Walmart and Amazon have some stuff too.
