I remember how Aaravos showed a fondness for humans that differs from other elves and how he sees them as equals due to their potential. When Aaravos takes revenge against this cosmic order, humans might benefit from it, as he seems helpful throughout the series.
Plus what I see to aarovos as well I think he learn from the human about human love family love he learn from them so that why he see them potential and respect them until the council ruin everything thanks guys but I felt like aarovos daughter loala might be a creation not by gave birth from what I see in season 6 there still a lot of mystery about it who the mother of loala or aarovos make her since it states look like the same constellation
I can't believe she got freaking executed/exploded. Also, the stupid time immortal elves fulfilled their own prophecy by killing the girl, they set him up to corrupt humans.
I believe they didn't erase her from the world, they just expelled her and turned her into stardust. So I believe they Aaravos plans on bringing back his daughter, as he is unable to harm or overpower the Startouched elves.
I have a theory that Aaravos actually created Leola after spending years among mortals. He watched families over countless centuries, and wanted to know what it was like to feel that kind of familial love. If he created her with his own magic, it makes him losing her even sadder. He literally wished for a daughter and literally created her with his love. 💔
Yes, it makes sense. 😭💔 In 3:02 they said Leola has a constellation but I don’t think it looks like a constellation. To me it looks like a single star. Aaravos creating Leola with his own magic and maybe inspired by unicorns might have made Leola part of his constellation(if it is ever shown). ✨ If Leola was made in the stars she would have looked different. 🦄🧝♀️ Instead she was born from a star not in them.
@@theArbeenarrator It'd also make sense why so few Startouch elves exist, they have to be willing to use their wish to make another Startouch elf to reproduce, so if they have any other desires they'd wish for instead no child will be born.
@@theArbeenarratoryou guys going to deep in it I think. She is is daughter, « the star » you sow was just her pure energy form being revealed and then dumped from the sky
One thing a lot of people have been pointing out is that Leola is showing numerous traits of being Autistic (there's imagery of her walking on her toes, lining up toys, stacking things, covering her ears during the trial and flapping her hands - though I really want to give a show of hands to Aaravos for managing her near meltdown while protecting her and speaking on her behalf at the same time). Of course, one of the other big things about Autism in children as young as Leola here is a sense of empathy that ties in with a strong sense of justice. Of course she would think it's unfair that humans can't learn magic by cosmic command. So of course, when she was taken to trial, ALONE, who knows how things would have gone for her if Aaravos hadn't been alerted that she had been taken.
THANK YOU, as someone who lives with mostly autistic people (and moght be as well), I could only focus on that! She reminded me of my siblings at that kind of age, I don't know if it was intentional, in my opinion, yes, because we got so very few shots of her, so each ones have to be intentional!
@@theflashgirl2057 autism spectrum disorder is a developmental disorder not a disease that you get sick with. He also brings up that she has developed very differently to what is expected of a star touch elf so that lines up.
Oh man, the VERY first thought I had was "did they create her with being on the spectrum in mind"? I was afraid I was projecting or something but glad others noticed that!
I still think the future the startouched elves saw is a self-fufilling prophecy, and by doing things like killing Leola they set up in motion events that lead to the very future they were trying to avoid. And you can be pretty sure that Aravos ommited many parts of his tale too, afterall he never told a lie but we also never witnessed him telling the whole truth either.
Tbh I really disagree with the perspective that Aaravos not choosing to die was in any way selfish. There is really no angle where the act of not choosing death itself is condemnable because it would literally have done nothing for Leola (I don't think that them dying together would have made the process any less terrible for Leola, because now she would not just die herself but also witness her father die right in front of her). His choices afterwards can very well be selfish (such as enacting revenge) but the mere act of dying? No. The whole point in my eyes, is that the star council's suggestion of both of them dying is just utterly absurd. Imo that place of love that Aaravos tells Leola she will go to is almost certainly not real and was just something he said to her to lessen her fear. We don't know what the actual afterlife looks like in Xadia so I don't think it's fair to say he actually refused to go with her to this place of love. Especially since he was ready to die for her immediately when he thought he could actually save her. So clearly he values her life over his. He could very well have chosen to die because he felt like his life lost all meaning but I think he realised that Leola was precisely the reason why he should stay alive: I believe that his newly discovered purpose was to continue her legacy, destroy the cosmic order, and make sure that her dream of humans and magical beings living in peace, and also humans living in a self-empowered way by being able to wield magic, becomes reality. In that way she would live on in the world. So he most likely continued to live precisely for his daughter. Obviously his intent/motivation being initially selfless doesn't mean that his actual actions are in any way good. I think his intense wish to let Leola's dream live on got obviously mixed with a deep-seated desire for revenge, tainting his view and having him adopt the mindset that the end goal is so important that it doesn't matter by which means it is achieved. From his twisted perspective cruelty, death and destruction are a "fair" price to pay for his idea of the greater good. Lastly, I'm not sure if Leola can be brought back. The way I read the scene was that she was condemned to a true death, which is why the whole verdict was so terrible. If it was just her mortal form then I don't think it would have been as shattering for Aaravos (or her) because her consciousness would just go back to the stars and exist there with the other startouch elves. So she would quite literally not die. And also, she would be able to return to earth soon enough when her stars would align. But what I took from the scene is that the star touch council destroyed her very consciousness/soul along with her body. (The only way to revive her would be if her soul was trapped in that world between life and death like Runaan. Perhaps due to unexpected events the startouch elves' execution wasn't flawless and her soul was actually able to escape and she is indeed trapped in that realm. But tbh then I don't know why Aaravos didn't revive Leola sooner, considering he had the quasar diamond all along since centuries. After all he is the one who built the staff (which was so old, it was used by the first dark mage) and put the diamond inside. He already had the most important ingerdient and could easily have conducted the ritual. So I don't think it's likely that Leola's soul lingers in the realm between life and death.) My guess is that Aaravos' final plan is to assume power, destroy the star touch elves' celestial order/sovereignty over the mortal world and create Leola's vision of a united, peaceful world (while also taking revenge on everyone who deserves it in his eyes), in the fashion of a misguided god that tries to create a perfect world by force.
This is a great analysis :D. I also disagree choosing not to die is selfish. It does nothing for Leola, and the Cosmic Order goes on as usual, being awful and terrible, and now there is no one to oppose them in the future. Aaravos may have been twisted over time, but I believe his original intentions were noble.
@@Olivia-W If Aaravos died with his daughter, there would be nobody to fight the Cosmic Order. Those fuckers need to be buried in the dirt (which is probably the ultimate horror for creatures that reside in the stars) and Aaravos is the only person who can do it. I don't want a redemption arc. But I do want revenge.
Since the elves revive when their stars align, I figured the way to destroy them was to destroy their body along with their star or throw the constellation out of whack so it'll never align.
My best attempt at guessing the inconsistency between "they can't be killed" said by the celestial elves and Leola's permanent death, is that star-touched elves are in fact a bit god-like and control the information available on earth, that means they didn't want it to be known that they could actually die permanently. This is reinforced by the fact that no one had the slightest idea that Aaravos had a daughter and that said daughter had been unalive, I mean, hundreds of legends, rumors and stories about how evil Aaravos was and none of them mention that he had a reason. That or Aaravos is an unreliable narrator. Yes, he definitely is, but like, much more. Honestly, I believe Aaravos.
Aaravos is the perfect example of evil isn’t born, it’s made. I’ll admit, I sympathize with him for his daughter’s execution and the condescending “mercy” of both his own people and Sol Regem, but that doesn’t just excuse all the horrible atrocities he helped cause throughout Xadia’s history. He was hurting, I understand that. But manipulating others into his plans for revenge is inexcusable.
I kinda hope one of our heroes getting to have words with the council or at least the merciful and be like “in all of you infinite wisdom and ability to see the future, you really didn’t recognize the self-fulfilling prophecy staring you in the face?”.
The Merciful One isn't the one who suggests that Aaravos die alongside his daughter, they're the one that says they can show Aaravos mercy, and then it's one of the other elves that comes to the conclusion that mercy is killing them both instead of just killing Aaravos like he asked. To me it seems like The Merciful One was trying to actually show Aaravos the mercy he wanted, but then the other Startouch elves decided they would rather kill them both, but maybe that's just me
To be fair to the Merciful One, she also showed up in person to try and comfort Aaravos, something none of the other evil psychopaths that make up the Cosmic Order would do. I want Aaravos to slaughter the rest of them but she's cool in my book.
The merciful one was the only one against killing a 9 year old and everyone else was out here interrupting her assuming that they should just kill them both. I feel like the merciful one didn’t want either of them to die; however, when faced with a choice she would have taken Aaravos over Leola. The rest of them just misinterpreted what she meant and were too stuck in their ways to understand Aaravos’ pleas. Plus, Sol Regiem was the #1 snitch and what could they do against the dragon prince
This season just progressively got a lot better the further it went. I cried at Virens letter and death, and seeing Leola get executed also made me tear up. I'm really happy they've decided to take the show in a more mature direction. It makes for such better storytelling and characters. Scenes like Terry bathing Claudia from the blood and dirt, Callum and Rayla in bed, Viren taking his wife's tears (which I personally interpreted as an allegory for assault) and more all would've never happened in a kids show. And the Dragon Prince is much better for it.
I would have preferred the idea that Claudia couldn't bring VIren back not because of a lack of love, but because he chose to sacrifice himself to save others (decides to stay on the other side so-to-speak) After all his failures, his last act is to save the son he hurt.
something i would like to point out, it doesn't have to do with leola, but something i noticed when watching, at the spire with the sky wing elves, there were pillars with staffs in them, the same type of staff as virin, and one was missing
yeah, if viren's staff was actually taken from the starscraper (probably by aaravos), that would probably explain the immense power it has and why it didn't get damaged when ziard fought with sol regem
I think Aaravos’ discovery of dark magic (unnatural and chaotic) makes it now possible for him to resurrect Leola if done right. However, he likely didn’t do it because he plans to after humanity and Xadia achieve 100% equality as we are gradually seeing in the modern day. In other words, Aaravos would want to bring his daughter back once the prejudices and cosmic order problems are removed. This is similar in DOTA Dragon’s Blood in which the Invoker destroys all his enemies and ensure the good guys win first before implementing his work in resurrecting his daughter. Mystery of Aaravos shows us resurrections happening left and right so Leola coming back is not off the charts. Regarding Leola’s heritage, I think she is a creation between Aaravos and the unicorns. Creation not biologically born. Conceived through magic. The reason is that Aaravos nicknames Leola his “little unicorn” and how she is very unusual and quirky for a Startouch Elf, attributes applied mostly for unicorns. Leola likely asked the other unicorns to help her aid humanity since it is implausible for a child like her to create primal stones and teach the draconic language to humans on her own. So it is a team effort which backfired: the Startouch Elves killing Leola and the Dark Mages hunting unicorns for their horns.
While I understand the idea, I don’t think Xadia and human equality was ever his goal, even if it would eliminate the prejudice that led to his daughters death. He was fine aiding Viren in his quest to defeat Xadia, even suggesting that Viren completely conquer Xadia as his goal. He killed Janai’s grandmother and completely fucked up Lux Aureai. Hun giving the humans dark magic was not necessarily out of compassion or hopes to even the playing field, but to rather give the finger to the cosmic order to prove that he could. Leola’s death was the catalyst to the whole cycle of abuse between humans and Xadia that even exists in modern day. He has meddled in Xadia history so much he might as well be Xadia’s history. Aaravos seems like he’s just been playing the thousand year long game to taunt Sol regiem as he dies as well as destroy any threats in Xadia. Plus, resurrecting a star touch might require more magic and ingredients then regular resurrection. His final goal could just be the death the destruction of the council and Aaravos had to choose his pawns carefully as he was imprisoned in the middle of his plan. His own self fulfilling prophecy. I do think the unicorn thing affecting both elves and humans was an astute observation on your part. I liked reading your comment
I’m guessing that startouched elves aren’t born the same way other beings are, but instead come into being whenever the stars align. Or maybe Aaravos actually created Leola using his own magic. If he had literally wished for her, it would make him losing her so much sadder!
I have a feeling that Callum and Aaravos are the key to "fixing" the world, and either path they tale Aaravos, someone too evil too far gone to be redeemed and taken down, or reminded of who his daughter called her father and how he has changed, in the end his goal might be a noble one and either by necessity or he would ask of him, Callum would replace the man Aaravos used to be before, a master of all magics, curious and fascinated with the mortal world and full of compassion. Thats where I imagine the story is heading, at least when it comes to the grand picture. A story started by an eternal master of all magics, finished by a human, the people he tried so hard to empower for so long.
Just something I also want to suggest: a future is often created by those trying to defy it. Giving humans magic leads to chaos, so they killed an innocent child. That child's father has spent eons bringing chaos in retribution.
Yeah, for an all-seeing, all-knowing Cosmic Order, they're not just evil (apart from the Merciful One) but fucking stupid as well. Did they really think a grieving father wouldn't go on a rampage after they murdered his child right in front of him? Especially one as powerful as Aaravos?
Honestly, he probably could. That might be how he actually made Leola. If ir sparklepuff was made in a dark ritual using Dark Magic and Viren's blood, then matured using a ray of sunlight and dark magic, then I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that Aaravos could've created Leola using love instead maybe forming her constellation physically near his, potentially using some of his own stars to make her creating a Familial connection in a biological sense, or he could've made the stars using sun magic potentially since we see that Claudia's stuff uses sun magic and has a mini sun, by mixing both primal sources I could see him assembling the stars in the Heaven's, then maybe using Earth to tether her, sky to breathe life, moon/sun to create her soul and stars for the stardust and binding everything together with love. Maybe he took another stsrtouch elves stars too for a mother it could've been a constellation comprised of multiple entities. That would arguably make him the most powerful Archmage to live and would explain why Starcouch elves aren't born very often. Maybe since star magic and love can bind things together, dark magic is primarily based on a corrupted form of that since it often seems to be unraveling something. With how powerful Aaravos is I can only fathom how busted Leola would've been if she were allowed to live to the current era, she would probably be at her prime and she was easily creating primal stones at her earliest days. I'd say that I wouldn't be surprised if Prime Leola was like Claudia and surpassed her father magically in some ways though I wonder why her amd the merciful one already had the arc going inverted on their symbol? Maybe it's dimorphism, maybe not, although it seems most likely since they were both women, and we haven't had any male Stsrtouch elves to compare them to unless Aaravos is just built differently Maybe empathy is what separated him from the other great ones and gave him the potential to connect to other Arcanums and creatures. He had the knowledge and the love required to learn the other arcanums.
The merciful one is actually merciful just not to someone who isn’t on trial. If we take a closer look at when the merciful one offers for Aaravos to die, she is offering for Leola to not be alone in her final moments, giving the young elf on trial mercy.
@@lemonminecraft9149 The Merciful One didn't seem to be on board with the rest of those monsters. For one thing, she showed up in person to try and comfort Aaravos. That's unusual for Star Touched Elves in general, who almost never go to Xadia, and marks her as the outlier in that Council of monsters. Furthermore, the Merciful One didn't personally suggest killing Aaravos with Leola. One of her psychopathic colleagues jumped to that conclusion after she suggested trying to find a compromise.
@@tomnorton4277 I agree! I was rewatching and it was never them who said they should kill Aaravos, it was the other council members! This suggests that they are actually merciful some of the time
@@nerdycurls6253 you need to see this thing from a different point of view, those are immortal, celestial being ( constelation) that can see some part of the future. The empathy and mercy in their community is probably different from us.
wild and out there theory, but what if Leola is a hybrid of Star Touched Elf and Human? a last gift, one that brought endless joy and gave hope where there was none.
That's my bet - it would explain why Leola could be permanently killed... which makes the mercy offered to Aaravos even more cruel, because they knew full well Aaravos could get better and Leola never would
I wonder if the time blind celestial elves have enough understanding of the star arcanum to use star magic. Is divination such as their ability to see through time what star magic is? Things like that.
They said about one that "the stars touched him". That might have been him unlocking the star arcanum and as a result gaining access to the spell that makes him timeblind and allows him to see someones soul
Leeola being a "unicorn" lends me too two ideas: there is a race of Elves that only have one horn thus "Unicorn elves" or like others think Leola is part unicorn thus a hybrid. Which than leads me to think of other elf hybrids: dragon/elves part dragon and elf, half elf: human/elf etc.
I was wondering how Leola was born. and i have a theory. We know that every startouch elf has their own constellation of stars. Maybe new startouch elf can be born and be family with other when new constelations share some stars with ''Parent'' stars maybe thats how they are born :3
Maybe I misunderstood but did he get revenge on the council after he stop crying by using dark magic and teaching humans, which I think was before the divide of human and elf nations or was it after and he corrupted humans and elves with his darkness
First, Thanks for give me more questions to think about Leola's mother and her birth. Second, The Cosmic Order and the unicorns will play a huge leadership in S7 besides more about Aaravos's backstory with the humanity, especially The Orphan Queen.
Its fucking crazy that they were willing to actually destroy a child of their own spicies. Like if i knew this was the reality I would have allied myself with herbos
Wouldn't be a plot twist if aravos plans to sacrifice the star touched elves or even wilder them plus most life on the planet to revive his daughter like veron
I’m curious if this will lead to his daughter’s rebirth even if it meant like he trades places but then the cycle might still continue like what if grief just makes her want to wipe the slate clean no more elves and humans just nothingness
This makes so much sense since there’s so many different references to Leola either being a unicorn OR a startouched elf. If she’s both, then it would explain her singular horn and the discrepancy in source material from the show to the books and ttrpg lore.
One random idea that popped into my head while brushing my teeth one night: What if Leola will be reborn/reawaken in some way within Callum? There were a lot of talk in season 6 about how everyone & everything in Xadia are made of stardust, even Damian tells that to his Callum before passing away. Perhaps when Leola turned back into stardust, all that dust then spread out and became part of the DNA of different humans (especially if they lived by the Sea of the Castout, by eating the fish and other things in it) that then gets passed on to their children. And then over many generations, with Sarai having one half of the stardust and Damian having the rest, all that stardusted DNA is finally gathered into one being again when they had Callum. Maybe that could be a reason why Callum is the first human being able to connect with primal magic without a primal stone, because it's part of his DNA. And if you think about it, that also explains why his half-brother Ezran, who has Sarai's stardusted DNA, can talk to animals and being able to create a telepathic bond with Zym; which has not really been explained in the show yet. So perhaps that's why Aaravos hasn't possessed Callum that much yet, despite him saying that Callum will play into his hands in s.4 and the creators making a drawing of Aaravos with a Callum-puppet (besides, Aaravos could have easily possessed Callum into bringing the pearl back Claudia who has the staff with the Quasar Diamond in it). Because he wants Callum to be as "intact" as possible, since using dark magic slowly drains your life force and so Aaravos manipulated Viren & Claudia to help him as they are disposable pawns to him, and planned for Callum to get purified at the Star Scraper so he can then connect better with other primal sources and then "reawaken" so to speak. This idea might just be a bit farfetched and perhaps doesn't have any logic behind where I might have missed or forgotten something, but I had to share it anyway! XD
I actually brought this up another video Edit:I wonder if star touch elves reproduce Asexual? If he had a wife to create his child, why not mention her in a flash back? We're created by" star dust held by love instant." Might also mean star touch use magic to create one another or the universe naturally creates them over a certain period of time.
I just can’t believe any of Aarovos’ s story about leola. I mean, we haven’t been told a full truth by him the whole show, just some twisted version that suites him
You might be right. I got caught up in the unrepentant, self-righteous evil of the Cosmic Order but it's possible that Aaravos was omitting key details and context. It's completely in character for him to do so.
@@tomnorton4277 thank you! So many people I talk to about this online just go with “what h poor baby aaravos did nothing wrong, he was made a villain by the council” like hello? Have we watched the same show!?
@@kashroyalroyal7053 I totally understand their reaction. I had the same one and was sobbing when Leola died. However, we need to step back from the emotional impact and look at this pragmatically. This is Aaravos. He needed Claudia to free him and emotional manipulation was the only way to do it. He's very good at only giving parts of the truth whilst leaving out vital pieces of information.
Given that they do not come from Xadia but from the cosmos itself Star Touched Elves may not have family structure as we do. They could well be formed over time by the stardust in the universe not exactly having parents, but older Star Touched Elves adopting younger ones, Leola may not even has a mother, if you consider how rare they are such a connection would still be extremely strong.
I wonder what aaravos sees in the human race we know that they can cook the best meals and weapons that can make dragons held to a place of but i really want to know what it is what is that potential of humans in that world
In all honesty, I've always thought there was a reason beyond him just being "evil". I'm extremely pleased that I was proven right, in the worst way given *why* but still. And I'll continue to be on his side, because as much as i love Team Zym? Aaravos is so much more nuanced and fascinating.
Me too. Admittedly I thought the angle they were going to go for was much more of a "Aaravos got too powerful, and some or other elf council imprisoned him because they were afraid that he could turn evil." Than that of a grieving father. Although given his backstory, I feel like it's kinda odd how he encouraged Viren to rope Claudia into things. You'd think if anything that he'd be the one to leave her alone
I thought of something really scary... What if the story of his daughter isn't accurate... What if he toned it down, and the real story was actually darker
I believe he told the truth to the extent that it will help him with his goals. I'm sure there are a lot of details he left out because they would not convince Claudia to release him.
I don't think you can get any darker than forcing a father to watch his daughter get murdered right in front of him for no reason. Of course the Cosmic Order use the typical "greater good" excuse but whenever people say that, assume it's bullshit because 9 times out of 10, it is.
In the end, All the Star Touch Elves in the Council must be CURSED. Cursed to Never Again take physical form, and to exist in eternal torment for all time, curing their own immortality.
I believe her falen state is a meteorite because if startouch come back when their stars realign by taking the star out of the sky it can never realign given them a permanent death maybe they decided not to kill aravos because his constellation had too many stars and would have done too much damage on the planet 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️ also i don't think that leola is a blood relative to aravos i believe he adopted her since startouch elves are linked to constellations if she was born that mean a new constellation would have just magically appeared which i don't think makes sense but Tbf this world is full of magic i believe she was born when new stars formed that created her constellation and the she was adopted by aravos this also links back to my theory that destroying her constellation stars (a falling star) permanently kills startouch elves but maybe by returning the stars back will revive her who knows 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
I'm just imagining him killing a stsrtouch elf then making a star to bring his daughter back, just a black hole up in space. The Celestial elves freaking out, and Leola returns.
Just feeling that this ends with them having a final fight both end up unable to kill eacher and aardvark still dieing to save them or something like this happy ending for all
I wonder if the person who made the choice to spare humans was the merciful one and that they were a female character at the time but then changed it since I’m pretty sure the Merciful One’s voice actor Hannah Hofer is also nonbinary
Aaravos never lies. He twists the truth and omits key details but he never tells direct lies. He's too smart for that. Lying never works out in the long run and Aaravos has been playing this game for a VERY long time.
I always thought aaravos pure evil monster who treat world chess game, but after learn about his daughter death over small mistake with no form reasons i get it
I've assumed Leola's mother is the elf standing next to Aaravos while he's crying (4:30), coming to comfort him and believing it was for the greater good that she's gone (which is absolutely terrible to think about honestly) 💔
Hey , I'm no expert on the shows lore or anything but can I just point out two things that prove to me that "the Merciful one" is merciful, cause I've seen too many yt channels refer to them as not. A, no parent should have to outlive their children, offering aravos the option of dying with his daughter, is merciful, if you can't see that, I feel sorry for you, cause he exists forever, meaning he has to carry that pain forever. B, if we assume they were the ones to suggest the exile of humans we can safely assume the alternative was the extermination of the humans, so again, merciful. That being said, we've seen the Merciful One take a female form when talking to Araavos and in the statues and the Star-Touched Elf in the opening who banishes the humans seems male, so, ... probably not the same and it doesn't seem like it would be Aravos either. Although this is speculation as we do not have much of a timeline, all we know is that Aravos was probably imprisoned after the blinding of Sol-Regem and the destruction of Avalon or whatever that human city was called.
Is no one talking how Arravos chose to live instead of dying with his daughter don't you think it's kind of weird that he chose to live instead to die with his child that would make more sense
He probably thought he could bring her back, like Aaravous was shown to know how to bring people back from the dead but if the Star Elves kill Aaravous daughter in a way to not be able to bring her back then it would lead to his despair and eventually desire for revenge.
@Underworlddream right but when they killed her they destroyed her star from the heavens towards the earth and Arravos spent years getting revenge on both dragons and humans for.what had transpired with his daughter. But what we know is recarnation, it could be revealed that she would've been reborn as a human or a different kind of elf and if that was possible Arravos could've (if he chose to die with his daughter) do a spell that would have the same kind of effect their immortal bodies and stars destroyed but their souls of their immortal selves could bee reborn into different bodies yet they could still remember each other, they are calling arravos a arch mage so whose to say he doesn't know spells he could've done
@@melissasawicki8989 Your comment brings up a theory I've had since the season 6 finale; what if Leola's reborn "soul" is Claudia? Granted, this is a stretch because I'm basing this on face-value similarities between the two (both ranging on the Autistic spectrum, Claudia's earlier seasons' designs and Leola's design featuring an under-layer of purple hair, and both's obsession to keep their family together). If she is a human reincarnation of Leola, Claudia's deep rooted fear of everyone she loves eventually leaving her may be the carried over trauma of the First Elves exiling her from a plane of existence away from her father? What if Claudia is just one of many in a long line of human reincarnations of Leola, explaining Aaravos' deep interest and investment in humans?
@lonerider4164 that could be one or what is Leola was reborn as Ezran or that orphan queen who was confused on ringing everyone together arravos did say that leola wanted to befriend everyone animals humans elves alike and that's what Ezran was or that orphan queen could've been to normal reborns could take a while but I'm guessing that Star touched elves if they can be reborn would take longe then a humans so what if leola is ezran reincarnated. They do have similar behaviors and the same goals. But I know ezran is a long stretch so my guess is leopma was the orphan queen but since some say reincarnation people don't remember their past lives the name arravos never rung a bell so she never knew that the elf being responsible for crimes is her father. Plus she did habe contact with the cube the very same one arravos had like I said ezran or the orphan queen could be a recarnation of Leola
@lonerider4164 or who knows Rayla night also be a possibel reincarnation of Leola she's compassionate doesn't want to hurt others without needing to and want to be friends with animals to but let me know which one do like better is Leoela reincarnated as Cluadia The orphan Queen Ezran or Rayla
I would like to point something out: As awful as some of the things Aaravos has done, to my knowledge he has NEVER gone out of his way to hurt humans. Even with Sol Regem burning down Katolis, it wasn't clear if that was Aaravos' plan or the sun king's. Everything I've seen, Aaravos has done as much as he could to help humanity, even if he did so with awful methods. I'm open to discussion on this though.

Remember the only "witness" to Leola gifting humans magic was Sol Regem a very bitter, hateful, and manipulative character
Well he got GoodFellas “Being Made” moment
But he was only a prince back then so he was young and should be the way he is when he lost sight
don't forget that he killed his own wife out of rage AKA BURING HER ALIVE. THEN HE FORGOT IT, FORGOT IT.

I remember how Aaravos showed a fondness for humans that differs from other elves and how he sees them as equals due to their potential. When Aaravos takes revenge against this cosmic order, humans might benefit from it, as he seems helpful throughout the series.
Perhaps he had respect to human mages? As they are kind of Leola's legacy
@@afellowhuman8944 Maybe, I do remember him stating how he held contempt for other elves due to how they treated humans as lesser.
@@Kravinnor uses dark magic to consume them maybe?
@chaosholle5760 I think that's endgame.
Like what Oogway said in KFP “One often meets their destiny on the path they take to avoid it”.
@Maieveryday2 I wonder what happened to Leola's human and elf friend that saw her being taken?
I have a theory that Aaravos actually created Leola after spending years among mortals. He watched families over countless centuries, and wanted to know what it was like to feel that kind of familial love. If he created her with his own magic, it makes him losing her even sadder. He literally wished for a daughter and literally created her with his love. 💔
What if she was Aaravos's wish?
Yes, it makes sense. 😭💔
In 3:02 they said Leola has a constellation but I don’t think it looks like a constellation. To me it looks like a single star. Aaravos creating Leola with his own magic and maybe inspired by unicorns might have made Leola part of his constellation(if it is ever shown). ✨
If Leola was made in the stars she would have looked different. 🦄🧝♀️ Instead she was born from a star not in them.
It's low key giving Rose Quartz
I doubt star touched elves can get sick with any kind of desease
That’s really cool!
Good point. He could have had a bigger role in his story that makes him more at fault than he let on.
So I don't think it's likely that Leola's soul lingers in the realm between life and death.)
My guess is that Aaravos' final plan is to assume power, destroy the star touch elves' celestial order/sovereignty over the mortal world and create Leola's vision of a united, peaceful world (while also taking revenge on everyone who deserves it in his eyes), in the fashion of a misguided god that tries to create a perfect world by force.
This deserves more likes😊
She did that after 100 years still but I agree with you about ut.@@tomnorton4277
I would have preferred the idea that Claudia couldn't bring VIren back not because of a lack of love, but because he chose to sacrifice himself to save others (decides to stay on the other side so-to-speak) After all his failures, his last act is to save the son he hurt.
not an allegory viren did in fact assault her as he said.
so true i thought the exact same thing even from the first scene of season 6
I cried toooo!!!
something i would like to point out, it doesn't have to do with leola, but something i noticed when watching, at the spire with the sky wing elves, there were pillars with staffs in them, the same type of staff as virin, and one was missing
God damn... Good eye
Oh wow! I'll have to watch that again.
yeah, if viren's staff was actually taken from the starscraper (probably by aaravos), that would probably explain the immense power it has and why it didn't get damaged when ziard fought with sol regem
@@oof2104 and how aarovos stashed the quasar diamond on it
I think Aaravos’ discovery of dark magic (unnatural and chaotic) makes it now possible for him to resurrect Leola if done right.
Bro, credit for how long this is! ❤
She’s so cute, but I do wonder do star touch elf’s give birth or are they given a child?
Realistically I thinks it’s kinda a mitosis
But it would be funny if it’s like Cosmo from fairly odd parents
I’m guessing that startouched elves aren’t born the same way other beings are, but instead come into being whenever the stars align. Or maybe Aaravos actually created Leola using his own magic. If he had literally wished for her, it would make him losing her so much sadder!
Startouched elves can physically manifest, she was born in the physical world.
What if aravos had a partner tho, and lost them when they had unicorn then when he lost her he lost it?
I don't need sleep i need answers
The whole theory with aaravos and unicorns makes him sound less like Lucifer and Prometheus and more like Loki, if you catch my drift
Oh my days you're so right lmao 😭
i needed more of Aaravos being a happy dad with his happy girl
Aaravos was an Archmage of Xadia. So powerful and so wise, he could merge the magic of certain Primal Sources to create, life.
Maybe it's dimorphism, maybe not, although it seems most likely since they were both women, and we haven't had any male Stsrtouch elves to compare them to unless Aaravos is just built differently
Maybe empathy is what separated him from the other great ones and gave him the potential to connect to other Arcanums and creatures. He had the knowledge and the love required to learn the other arcanums.
Isn't it also very much possible that Leola that she is not a hybrid and was just born different because that was just how she was born?
The merciful one is actually merciful just not to someone who isn’t on trial. If we take a closer look at when the merciful one offers for Aaravos to die, she is offering for Leola to not be alone in her final moments, giving the young elf on trial mercy.
It's still not mercy to kill her father with her. There is no mercy in their choices.
@@nerdycurls6253 I think their idea of mercy isn’t the same but their ultimate goal was to make the transition easier for Leola

That will be caused by realisation that he was tricked.
Yeah ,if he sees Kosmo again, Callum might say "😡 You lied to me and Aaravos is out, thanks to you"

wild and out there theory, but what if Leola is a hybrid of Star Touched Elf and Human? a last gift, one that brought endless joy and gave hope where there was none.
Merciful one did not offer that Aarvos may die alongside his daughter, They instead suggestes that the cosmic order should 'Consider' mercy!
Don't forget that they were the only one who came down in elf form to comfort Aaravos afterwards, you shouldn't demonize Merciful one that much!
1 in 10 skywing elves is born with wings. I wonder if something like this can happen for all elf types with leola being the different startouched elf
Aaravos cald a unicorn because she born with inly one horn, it just rarely happens.
But I actually think she was adopted by him.
the last quazar diamond will be used to bring back virens old master in my opinion
I was wondering how Leola was born. and i have a theory. We know that every startouch elf has their own constellation of stars. Maybe new startouch elf can be born and be family with other when new constelations share some stars with ''Parent'' stars maybe thats how they are born :3
Well done. Loved the startouched elf layer to the world building.
Just blew my mind with her bones being at the bottom of the lake

Its fucking crazy that they were willing to actually destroy a child of their own spicies. Like if i knew this was the reality I would have allied myself with herbos

Killing the rlves for his daughter is a win win tbh
its been years since i have seen dragon prince
Go watch it then!
Idk why but the merciful one looks like sarai
One random idea that popped into my head while brushing my teeth one night:
What if Leola will be reborn/reawaken in some way within Callum?
XD
I actually brought this up another video
Edit:I wonder if star touch elves reproduce Asexual? If he had a wife to create his child, why not mention her in a flash back?
We're created by" star dust held by love instant." Might also mean star touch use magic to create one another or the universe naturally creates them over a certain period of time.
Leola isn’t a constellation, she is just depicted as holding the North Star (ie leola’s last wish)
Her past whish was she wanted to live.

I just can’t believe any of Aarovos’ s story about leola. I mean, we haven’t been told a full truth by him the whole show, just some twisted version that suites him
I agree
You might be right. I got caught up in the unrepentant, self-righteous evil of the Cosmic Order but it's possible that Aaravos was omitting key details and context. It's completely in character for him to do so.

Leola kinda resembles Soraka from League of Legends. Also, i keep on wondering if there is an Archdragon of Stars?
There really should add an arch dragon of starts because if they have one of every primal source magic there should be one of the stars.
Virens Death just hit different man
I think maybe leola got formed from a star contalation by aaravos
How the heck did they make me like Aaravos?
They made me cry when Viren kicked the bucket. They're good at what they do.
I was crying my eyes out this season
Given that they do not come from Xadia but from the cosmos itself Star Touched Elves may not have family structure as we do. They could well be formed over time by the stardust in the universe not exactly having parents, but older Star Touched Elves adopting younger ones, Leola may not even has a mother, if you consider how rare they are such a connection would still be extremely strong.
I wonder what aaravos sees in the human race we know that they can cook the best meals and weapons that can make dragons held to a place of but i really want to know what it is what is that potential of humans in that world
Just for tze info i dont mean tte dragons line zym i mean these small dragons like the red one who was chained up on the floor
In all honesty, I've always thought there was a reason beyond him just being "evil". I'm extremely pleased that I was proven right, in the worst way given *why* but still. And I'll continue to be on his side, because as much as i love Team Zym? Aaravos is so much more nuanced and fascinating.
Me too.
Admittedly I thought the angle they were going to go for was much more of a "Aaravos got too powerful, and some or other elf council imprisoned him because they were afraid that he could turn evil."
Than that of a grieving father.
Although given his backstory, I feel like it's kinda odd how he encouraged Viren to rope Claudia into things.
You'd think if anything that he'd be the one to leave her alone
i dont think he would be as suprised by it if she was part unicorn, most likely just a really rare mutation she was born with
Did u notice that when the elder telling Callum and rayla I saw virens staff in the background but different gems .
Aravos pulling a loki wasn't what i expected
Absolutely love this series
I used to despise Aaravos for what he did troughout the series but now I see he's not a villain he's just a grieving father who lost his child...
Cursed to Never Again take physical form, and to exist in eternal torment for all time, curing their own immortality.
the animation in this show is pretty but that map is gorgeous.
Well, this is interesting. Could she play a major if what Aaravos said is true?
Just feeling that this ends with them having a final fight both end up unable to kill eacher and aardvark still dieing to save them or something like this happy ending for all
@Cartoonuniverse, Leloa granted humans access to primal magic. Dark Magic was invented generations after Leloa died.
I kinda feel sorry
for Aaravos
Hmmm… Twins are unusual… Could Leola have been one of a set of twins? Could that be the reason Leola has only one horn?
I wonder if the person who made the choice to spare humans was the merciful one and that they were a female character at the time but then changed it since I’m pretty sure the Merciful One’s voice actor Hannah Hofer is also nonbinary
He isn't a narrator we can completely believe but what if she did come back as a unicorn?
I felt that he was lying. I don’t believe that Leloa existed. I felt he told the story just to get Claudia to do what he wanted
Aaravos never lies. He twists the truth and omits key details but he never tells direct lies. He's too smart for that. Lying never works out in the long run and Aaravos has been playing this game for a VERY long time.
JUSTICE FOR LEOLA!
Maybe the Merciful One WAS Leola's mother, given the resemblance despite having two horns instead of one.
Timeblind Celestial Elfcut, what is your wisdom?
Aaravos has every right to take vengeance
I think Aaravos want to rise humanity in spite of "cosmic order" and because leola loved humanity
That's crazy just because 1 person used dark magic they were willing to just completely commit genocide?
Sad if gaining a child from a unicorn with no love
I think he made her. Just like he made his and Viren so called sacrifice child.
You should watch avatar the last airbender
Hi
Am I the only one who thinks the merciful elf who convinced Luna to banish the humans is queen aditi (great-grandmother to janai and karim)
Why didn't aaravos tell Viren to revive him back in season 1?
Deep cut: Aaravos fell in love with unicorns ☠️
*not romanticly tho*
‘Oh’ 😭😭
Wait what is a fallen state?
What book is that?
How can you be timeblind if you don't have the eye on the blindfold?
1 question
😮
Aran't you cosmo
99.9% sure she's half human
I would like to point something out:
As awful as some of the things Aaravos has done, to my knowledge he has NEVER gone out of his way to hurt humans. Even with Sol Regem burning down Katolis, it wasn't clear if that was Aaravos' plan or the sun king's. Everything I've seen, Aaravos has done as much as he could to help humanity, even if he did so with awful methods.
I'm open to discussion on this though.
I belive that it was the execution of leola that ultimately caused the chaos
Isnt the kid immortal and just returned to the stars? If so who cares ?
no, thats only if killed by nova blade. aaron ehasz confirmed this is more permanent death
Wait. Why the Heck is an immortal Being that lives outside of the world go by pronouns? You’d Think an immortal Being would understand Science and biology
Everything has a pronoun...
@@blackoffee Not Really. Male and female are biologically and Scientifically Compatible with each other in every way. It’s not a concept we made.
If they wanted to make immortal beings that are not male or female they should’ve gone with how angels are in the Bible instead of bringing in and making her something that An immortal being shouldn’t care about.
@theforcedragon3781 not to be rude but do you know what a pronoun is? Everything has a pronoun.
