This video made me remember that my phone is capable of HDR playback 😅
I love the movie especially the regie scene. However, I wish they just killed off or placed theresa's character somewhere because it is so weird watching a different actor playing the lead's wife. Speaking of wife, mike's wife arc is a bit boring/mediocre. Mike dated syd, bruja and rita and the wife can't fight which made her look like another plot device.
The comedy still works especially the time where they stole the clothes, clearly a reference to the BB2 KKK scene 😅
Edit: joe pantoliano said in one of his interviews that we need to watch the 3 bad boys prior. I noticed on the first movie, marcus have sons. It was never mentioned on all of the sequels only the daughter who married reggie. They are not even on their sister's wedding which seems odd.
Personally, I think bad boys is the only movie where michael bay directing it would work. The explosions and stunts on his bad boys look more realistic. There are parts of the action scenes of the lates movie that looks so cluttered that you don't even know what is happening.

You make some very good points!
Mikes wife was a bit of a plot device. And I legit never realized that they never showed Marcus boys again 💀
Overall it’s a lot of fan service but I had a really fun time with it.
The action and comedy was exactly what I was looking for.
One of the better movies this year for sure.
I appreciate you taking time to watch and comment on my video!!!! 🍿

Yeah, this was a good one. Tons of awesome action. The scene where Reggie just took out all those guys trying to hurt the family was really good.

It really was! Had some serious John Wick vibes in that scene. Would love to see more of Reggie in the next movie.

      LMAO
but yes I agree that it’s good to have Will back making movies.
I’d be happy with a few more bad boys movies while he’s at it!

Lmao this actually would make sense.
Especially if you wanted to eventually tie this current franchise with the OG apes film.

I'd argue that this franchise has the same beats as The Fast and Furious franchise now. Not John Wick.
    Random ramblings:
*What's with all these female officers? Give me a break.
*The p**** eating scene was hilarious though. I haven't laughed like that aloud in the theater for awhile.😅😅😅😂
*I guessed who the traitor was right away and I guessed what would would happen with Judy and Mike's son at the end, too. So predictable.
*I do give it a recommendation though...but for 2024 standards only. Modern movies suck.

I agree that it’s definitely more on pace with the FF franchise rather than the JW.
There’s gotta be a healthy balance in there and hopefully they find it on the next one.
I was right there with you on the traitor. For me it was when he asked who she was talking to and then the bad guys immediately knew the next move. I was like YEP called it.
Movies this year have been rough. Not sure if it has to do with the strikes last year or if the past few years gave us pre Covid scripts but I would take my full top ten of the last 5 years (excluding2020) over my current top ten this year.
