    This was a fun project, I turned all the pieces on the lathe. I was a little skeptical at first. I think it turned out nice in the end.

    Love the bear, I would certainly give a bear of that pedigree house room. I need to improve my skills, watching you, Robbie and Mike give me so many things I want to do, but it's so cold out. Hopeful that we'll have a good summer.

    Great project and as usual very detailed video. Changing a design on the fly of a project out of two pieces isn't all that difficult. When I think of changing this 12 piece Teddy Bear I would have given up. Going through this and finishing this project shows your outstanding skills.

    Ummmm isn't it illegal to remove pieces of a historical monument like the HMS Victory from England?? These pieces of wood should have never left the Victory's restoration site. Carl, I think you may be breaking the law by accepting this wood least of all ruining it further by turning it.

    • @CarlJacobson
      @CarlJacobson  10 років тому

      No it is not against the law at all. I am a listed supplier of services to the Royal Naval Heritage Museum. Any materials supplied to myself by the Royal Navy that I deem to not be viable, or meet the quality standard to make products for the RNHM shops and other outlets, I can freely dispose of how I feel fit. I would rather pass it on to someone than use it for firewood. I hope this clears up any issues you may have. Tony
