I'm really shy and anxious and some of the comments reminded me of my days in Middle School/High School, if i was with a group of people and if i started talking (that was rare) and being friendly some of them were like "she has a voice, she can speak!" it was so awkward for me, in 3rd or 4rd grade if kids saw me laughing they would start talking about it ugh not the best childhood memories haha
Such a trip that Flea and Slash grew up right next to each other and played together as kids. Little did they know they would grow up to be some of the most famous rockers in the world. In completely different bands no less.

Josh is a very good guitarist and an amazing singer, so as John was. Rhcp is just a bit different than before, but it also became different when Hillel Slovak died and the band picked John. John did great things and I'm sure Josh will.
Now that josh is out of the chili peppers and giving a lot of interviews, we can see that he actually speaks very much and is not so shy. So I conclude that he didn’t speak a lot in the past because he understood that the band was not his band, he didn’t want to “take” the place of the other guys. SUCH a humble and respectful man. That is exactly what I was thinking. I saw them at the Orion music festival, and he was amazing. No person could ever replace John Frusciante, but Josh is a pretty amazing guitar player himself. Just different like you said. People should move on, because John did.

I hate most of RHCP new stuff (everything after One Hot Minute), and I loved RHCP with Dave...I know it was different but it was good music. I've seen him live, and he put on one hell of a show, and i'll always be grateful that he is where he is. I'll always be a lifelong fan of RHCP, no matter the line up, and I always look forward to the next show and the next record.

i met josh when he was at big day out in australia and i was super bummed because he didn't want to get a photo. but i didn't mind coz then he totally rocked out and someone told me he doesn't like photos
