I fucking adore this song, and the narrative depth this song has. With the kind of people that Dorian Electra usually writes about, the very obsessive and dangerous chronically-online chud types, this song's first verse brings up the chilling reality of many of these people having early signs of harming others online that go completely unrecognized, leading to tragedies upon tragedies. The almost jumpscare when they say "How was the party, Did you have fun." with the whole first verse playing out from the POV of someone (either a friend or in some people's interpretation an abuser) interrogating the listener is such a good payoff to the tension that first part builds, such effective story telling in that one part i love it
The song is actually a pretty romantic sentiment... except it's romantic in a way that's totally unpretentious and unsentimental. We're listening to someone who is totally devoted and loves their partner in spite of their faults... It's just that we, the listener, also have the context that this partner is dangerous. These are not merely faults, they're red flags.

To me, it comes across of just recklessly repeating a self sabotaging cycle in terms of non romantic relationships... because you end up addicted to the thrill, yet know things need to change for the better.
