So happy to see this video as I couldn't go this year. I did avionics on C-5s and retired as we were getting brand new C-17s which are far less maintenance intensive. C-5s are monsters that break on a regular basis... Mostly hydraulics and engines. Never worked on one, but the Warthog is my favorite military plane also, loved watching them buzzing around in the treetops. We camp at Ft. Pickens Park as Pensacola and watch the Blue Angels practice there routines during the week. They often fly right over the campground.
I live near the airport where Sun n Fun is. You guys drove almost right next to my house. Just 1 road and turn a few blocks. I hear the planes, and jets all the time. I haven't got to the show in many years because of how many times I went as a kid, but now I'm thinking I might stop by and pay a visit to your booth in 2024 if you guys go again!
