My grandpaw carried a Case Trapper with Yellow Delrin handle scales everyday for many years as he worked in textile yarn mill here in the south. The clip point blade today is paper thin because grandpaw had sharpened that blade so much as he used it daily at work. Classic memories. Thanks Georgia Adventurer!
That’s a beautiful knife! Yellow derlin was the first knives that ever caught my eye as a kid in the early 60s when mama took me to town and I just lived for the day I could get one! And I still love em.
12 years old and my first pocket carry was a 94OT. 55 now a days and STILL carrying a “TRAPPER!” Wore out a Spey blade or 2 . Filled my freezer many times over processing with a trapper !
Thanks for sharing about your lovely yellow delrin trapper. 👍 I too have used my pocket knife at restaurants and gotten strange looks from people...lol 🤣Take care my friend and Cheers!
Sweet looking knives bud. I use knives when we eat out. At least i know it will cut up my meal with no issues unlike their “steak knives” will lol. You folks have a wonderful day. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad you got a good one online, buddy...I got my first CS large stockman from Case and had to return it...little gun shy about buying anything new from case that I can not check for fit and finish and function...hopefully, Case will make it right....that is a great price...thanks for sharing the vid with us....Jim
That’s a Handsome Trapper with that big shield. Really sets it off. I don’t have a yellow Delrin slip. Think I’ll be on hunt for a yellow trapper. Only yellow knife I have is a huge old 1930s KABAR Union cut Jack. Scales are not Delrin, but some old light yellow composite
First one I’ve seen as well with that shield. I may have mentioned in one of your previous trapper videos the 54 pattern trappers is what we’ve used to skin hogs and catfish for over 30 years. That’s a good find and price.
