My high school friend's dad was a cop, and very good looking. He got flirted with all the time. Once he pulled over an attractive lady who was speeding on the freeway. After she signed the ticket she told him, "come on, can't we work something out? I'll do anything to avoid this happening." He said, "Anything?" She said, "Anything." He said, "What are you doing Friday?" She grinned and said, "Oh, nothing! I'm totally free on Friday!" He tore out the ticket and handed it to her. "Good, then you'll be able to make it to court. Have a good night."
As someone who grew up with an alcoholic mom that would bounce between enraged and flirtatious, drunken flirting puts the fear of god into my core. Edit: damn I didn't know this comment got so much traction... To uh, clarify, she wouldn't flirt with *me,* her daughter... She'd flirt with the cops, people walking by if she was in public and with the people from her imagination. She wouldn't hallucinate, exactly, she was just... in her mind. She always said "I'm not perfect and I never claim to be perfect, but I'm the best I can be" and that rang true when she was sober. Despite her flaws she was a good mom, but the impression of seeing her drunk like that and smelling it in the air when all of those shenanigans would go down.... Left me unable to enjoy alcohol. Your close-to-heart recollections below mean a lot to hear, despite all of us going through *something* we are still strong and going on. That counts for something.. right?
Oof... double oof if the flirting was with you. As a recoving addict, I know how people can get while under the influence. The Reproductive Endocrinologist I used to see before the addiction kicked off was kind enough to let me know that I got pretty flirty, on two occasions, with the CRNA after being premeditated before surgery. It really didn't help that the guy was my stepsister's stepbrother (As in the son of the man her mother married), along with being the subject of my first significant crush. Anyway, for what it's worth, I hope you've been able to recover and find a caring support system elsewhere.

The 18 year old using "I got dumped" and then cries is super effective. Like everyone, Cops don't want to deal with people that make them feel uncomfortable (unless they are suspicious). A LOT of people get uncomfortable with a stranger crying and don't want to deal with it. Claiming you were speeding for needing to poop and then crap your pants like it's an accident would probably be another effective way to make someone not want to deal with you.
I remember seeing that last video before.... It stood out because the cop that wasn't flirting with Brooke noticed the baby seat was lose and stopped everything he was doing to take the time to remove it and put it in properly! Was a really nice touch. 👍

they arrested a off-duty Lieutenant of DUI, and he blew a .36 it said. thats falling over, passed out, beyond drunk. prior to that, the highest I ever heard of was around .28.
1:58 - I had this happen to me once. I was 20 at the time. I was driving through an area I didn't know and state patrol pulled me over for illegal tint (the tint is legal where I live). He said if I gave a hug and kiss, he would let me go, and if I gave him my number, he would do a lot more. He wouldn't let me leave until I did. I always had a fear of police, and that experience made it so much worse.
My buddy and I were given a ride hope by some police after they saw us walking on the side of the road coming back from a party. When we got out, the cop on my side(passenger) told us to empty our pockets to make sure we didn't take anything. As soon as the other officer was like "we didn't have anything the the back seats for them to take" he had already stuck his hand deep into my pocket and felt EVERYTHING. I'm a dude btw, that was so violating at the time. I've learned now that there's way worse violating stuff that can happen, and I wish I hadn't lmao
I got my friend out of a possible DUI. We went to a bar not too far from my house. My friend was driving and had 2 drinks, I had 4 or 5. When the officer pulled us over, I started acting really drunk, hitting on the officer... he looked at my friend and told her to get me home safely 😂😂 we were there quite awhile and I am sure she would have blown under but we were young and dumb.
As always, amazing content Bruce. Hope all you're happy and healthy as can be. Thank you for giving all of us viewers a few minutes to entertain us and help us forget about whatever bad things might be going on in our lives. Have a good day brother!
I LOVE the way you talk about your son. I feel and speak the same way about my boys as well. That is so lovely. And Bruce, you are so funny, as well as knowledgeable. Thank you and Michael for these cool videos. God bless. 😌👍🏽
We had someone who got out of a DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.333. The cops didn’t breathalyze her at the ER or do a legal blood draw. They weren’t on scene when the ems brought her in and all they did was cite her for something like failure to maintain her distance.
Cops see the horrible effects of DUIs so often. To be smitten by an idiot who chooses to put other people’s lives at risk like that makes me want to vomit.

Did he just say, don't drink behind the wheel, but if you do, flirt and you can become his thingy later? Lmao. I'd rather go to jail than become a cop's thingy later tbh 😂
I had a cop proposition me to get my daughter back. I knew he couldn't take my daughter from her father, so I didn't do it. I'll forever hate myself for not turning him in. Imagine how many women he did that to.
I still can't get why cops in the US don't have a breathe tester in the car. Here everyone has one and we don't have to do stupid jumppuzzles to prove we are sober.
Jump puzzles can help indicate if someone is intoxicated with something other than alcohol. They can blow zeros but still be fucked up on something and be unsafe to drive.
All cops DO have them in their cars. They make them dance just to add more extra crap for the courts in their favor. Then if they need more info or “evidence” on them, they force them to take a second breathalyzer at the police station, and or a blood draw at the hospital. Those happen, especially for, people with more than one DUI on their record. Prosecutors love, evidence, evidence, and more evidence. Lol.
So… I have a friend who was a state trooper, in the 90s, in New York State. He never ever let anybody go, especially women. He did not like the thought of women getting over on him, because they would make fun of him after the fact. He had pulled somebody over, and asked for license and registration. The non-English speaking person showed his license. It was destroyed. This was back when licenses did not have a pictures & were paper. the trooper said, your license is mutilated. The driver said my license doesn’t mutilate for another year. The trooper said…just go! the one person he ever let go! 😂because he could not believe the response. To this day he said he could’ve been a serial killer with bodies in the trunk, lol.
About the last case, I mean as long as you are professional while working and doesn't treat the subject any differently I don't mind if they get along after work. Seemed genuine to me.
14:28 Exactly, when I go out to drink and I know nobody is gnna give me a ride, I ride my bike or catch the bus. It's pretty stupid knowing what's at risk, especially if you got people with you and someone has drugs, or someone wants to start getting crazy with the police.
I love the humor in your phrasing. Michael IS my favorite person. He's the 🐐! I live in Wisconsin now. I have never been detained by law enforcement, but I'd like to move to Minnesota in case I'm accused of a crime and should require your services 😅. Thank you for your entertaining education! The narrator in this video (the one being reviewed) seems to be greatly exaggerating what’s actually happening. I also think he multiple times said the officers were flirting back and I disagree strongly. Talking nicely doesn’t automatically equal flirting
It's interesting that the USA's limit is 0.08. In Australia the limit is 0.05, and 0.08 is the start of mid range (In NSW, it's slightly different in different states). Good thing to note for people from the USA travelling in Australia.
Hopefully if Americans are driving at all they won’t drink in Australia. That would make it tougher to drive on the other side… oh and just for you, “Aussie Aussie Aussie!”
Like many laws some states have lower limits. Also underage or those with commercial licenses may fall under zero tolerance which can be from 0.2 to as low as 0.0

I got pulled over a few years ago by a really hot cop when I stopped at a blinking yellow trying to figure which way to turn after midnight and he wanted to see if I was drunk or stoned. I wasn't and all of my papers and everything was valid. He said I was all good to go but then saw me still staring at him dumbstruck when he started to walk back to his car. So, he paused and asked if I was sure I wasn't drinking and he came back to my car and bent inside within 2 inches of my face to sniff for alcohol right in smooching distance and held there for a while as I held my breath. It was winter time and boy was I all fuzzy and floating out of my seat the whole rest of the way home. My bf at the time was a 38 year old 5'6 whiney borderline personality disorder jack ass so the cop was the first real man I had that close to me in years. If I hadn't had a friend in the car with me, I might have asked for his number. She said all cops get that close to you when trying to see if you have been drinking. I knew an ambulance driver who would routinely drive the ambulance coked up...he would also drive escorts to their outcalls in his emergency response car...guess how i know😉
He went to law school man probably needed it to stay sane at the time lol
I knew a guy who was a chronic alcoholic whose blood draws taken in a doctors office while he was sober registered .24
Alot of these chronics also told me they drove better if they had something to drink cause it calmed their nerves and shakes.
I have to say I’m becoming a very big fan of the entire Rivers family. Driving a patient and drinking? Gotta be Florida.
Love listening to you @ work in Rochester NY. Thanks Bruce and Mike
Bruce, you’ve become one of my favorite people on the planet! What a special treat to see you tonight!!
You tryin to seduce bruce 😂💀
@@JP94 No. I respect a married man. And his wife.
@@KcRoseidk sounds kinda seducey to me…😂
@@krozlee3443 Maybe 🤭
I always enjoy watching your videos and appreciate your advice. You have such a great sense of humor. Here's a shout-out to the genius, Michael, behind the camera. Interesting videos, Michael! Bruce and Michael, you guys are one great team! 😊
Glazed out.
they arrested a off-duty Lieutenant of DUI, and he blew a .36 it said. thats falling over, passed out, beyond drunk. prior to that, the highest I ever heard of was around .28.
Ew 😣 I’m sorry
My buddy and I were given a ride hope by some police after they saw us walking on the side of the road coming back from a party. When we got out, the cop on my side(passenger) told us to empty our pockets to make sure we didn't take anything. As soon as the other officer was like "we didn't have anything the the back seats for them to take" he had already stuck his hand deep into my pocket and felt EVERYTHING. I'm a dude btw, that was so violating at the time. I've learned now that there's way worse violating stuff that can happen, and I wish I hadn't lmao
Are you related to the lying chick in this video?
It definitely happens, and I'm sorry you had to experience that. I wish you well, my dear.
@@busdriverguy Yep just some school shooters and SA'ers that made it to an authority position.
I like they checked her blood sugar levels first, they didn't just assume it was booze
Thank you Bruce for another insightful & interesting reaction. Thank you Michael for the great content!
That second cop was so sweet. He didn’t want to add to her rough night. I wish all cops were so kind
Bruce is just the best criminal lawyer I know. If I’m ever in need in the Twin Cities, I know who to call
1:14 my mom is actually my favorite person in the world but Mike Rivers is a close second
Bruce is so close to 1 mil congrats bro 🎉
Raised in Minnesota 23 yrs. Back in Canada 🇨🇦 now tho. But you are so darn funny lol great content and new fav channel.
"...she's resistible" ~ love that line.
The way you support your son is totally adorable and sweet. That's how it should be 😊
I LOVE the way you talk about your son. I feel and speak the same way about my boys as well. That is so lovely. And Bruce, you are so funny, as well as knowledgeable. Thank you and Michael for these cool videos. God bless. 😌👍🏽
Blond liar is just a typical narcissist, they’re all over nowadays.
We had someone who got out of a DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.333. The cops didn’t breathalyze her at the ER or do a legal blood draw. They weren’t on scene when the ems brought her in and all they did was cite her for something like failure to maintain her distance.
“It’s clear to the officers that she’s resistable.” 😂😂
Thanks again, Bruce and Michael for another great video! This was so hilarious - thanks for the laughs!!😂😂😂😂
Cops see the horrible effects of DUIs so often. To be smitten by an idiot who chooses to put other people’s lives at risk like that makes me want to vomit.
Yes
he's thinking with the small one.
I agree, I have zero sympathy for anyone who chooses to drive intoxicated.
Cops routinely engage in questionable behavior, so maybe she's his heaven-made match!
Love this father and son channel. Also, time to get everything in focus at the same time. Sometimes the hat is in focus, sometimes it isn't. This one, the microphone is at the perfect depth of field, but the hat and Bruce are blurry. Stop self blurring! Move the hat to the same depth as the mic is from the lens. Or go with less blur. Thank you for listening to my testimony
at 17:20, he's saying valparaiso, indiana. it's a city not far from me- just thought id shed some light on that haha
Love the dynamic between you and your son and love the legal descriptions, analysis, and reactions. Keep it up guys!
Bruce "blicky bruce " rivers
I think "Blicky" Bruce Rivers has a better flow to it.
Hey... Thats my nickname! 😂😂 blixky bruce!
He's definitely popped mad foos in his day just for looking at him wrong. Blicky B was about that life and don't play no RiffRaff.

I just stumbled across your channel, im literally having one of the worst days of my life and your commentary made me laugh! So I just have to say thank you!! I subscribed and this is the only channel I actually turned the notifications on 😊
That officer flirted with HER first! Talking about ‘I’ve never heard that before’ what a loser.
"It's clear to the officers that she is resistable!"😅
I’m snowed in, in Long
Island NY! 30 miles outside of Manhattan. No internet service today and waiting for Verizon to fix. But guess what your show works. God is good🙏. I’m on my 6 episode. I Love It!!! How sweet it is… Jackie Gleason.
Thanks Mr Rivers times two.🤙👊🙌
😅wait that third one is how I react when I'm nervous... I dont flirt, but I get giggly when I'm nervous and I talk to distract myself from my anxiety...
Did he just say, don't drink behind the wheel, but if you do, flirt and you can become his thingy later? Lmao. I'd rather go to jail than become a cop's thingy later tbh 😂
💯!!!
Dude is probably just happy that he’s not getting yelled and spat at for once.
Lol.
Bruce "it's a real gamble to try to seduce a cop - last time I did I was put in cuffs" ... so it worked? ...🤔
BRUCE: "What are you doing, driving a patient and drinking?! Hahaha! Thanks for the video, Bruce! Have a good evening.
Where can I get me a sick mustachio like that bro
"Bruce Rivers he's the criminal lawyer" is my favorite 🎵 song
Lol that last chick deadass made a pouty face when she was told to put her hands behind her back 😂😂😂
I might be wrong, but Bruce Rivers seems like a great father to his amazing son.
“It’s always 2 beers… and usually 2 beers means 4 to 6”💀💀💀
So… I have a friend who was a state trooper, in the 90s, in New York State.
That cop just stopped those two women from basically being trafficked.
Bruce: buy the drugs inside of the persons house not inside of their car at the gas station 😂😂😂
Another great compilation Bruce.
About the last case, I mean as long as you are professional while working and doesn't treat the subject any differently I don't mind if they get along after work. Seemed genuine to me.
i really wish your intro was a whole song every single time i hear it, its just too good
I love the two beers response. When I got mine cop asked If I'd been drinking? Said I had a few he asked how many's a few? I said more than a couple.
On one clip, a drunk guy said two years instead of two beers
It was interesting that she didn't try to get him to drop the charges. They both kept it above board and professional.
14:28 Exactly, when I go out to drink and I know nobody is gnna give me a ride, I ride my bike or catch the bus. It's pretty stupid knowing what's at risk, especially if you got people with you and someone has drugs, or someone wants to start getting crazy with the police.
Thank you for all you do Bruce!
But what he do?

Shout out to brook for not crossing a line and hopefully dating that dude. What a come up.
I'm so grateful that alcohol, no matter how little, a couple of sips of beer shandy, makes me feel really sick
Seeing how the last girl had her hands wrapped around that breathalyzer. Tells alot about what she wishes she was doing hahaha.
"Last time I tried that, I ended up in 'cuffs."
We're going to need so elaboration about the time you flirted with an officer, Bruce.
He ended up in cuffs, high heels and a wig.
Keep up the good content Bruce and Michael ! 😊👍
Love your content and travels.
Bruce,
You make me wish I’d been a lawyer. I thought it was like “Perry Mason,” and I didn’t want that. But if you were a law professor I’d listen to every word you say. Because having discovered this channel, I buy your mindset hook, line and sinker.
The narrator in this video (the one being reviewed) seems to be greatly exaggerating what’s actually happening. I also think he multiple times said the officers were flirting back and I disagree strongly. Talking nicely doesn’t automatically equal flirting
Having a alcoholic parent is a curse and a blessing. It lets you know hey I don't want to be like that!
"The amount of flirting is gross."😂
It's interesting that the USA's limit is 0.08. In Australia the limit is 0.05, and 0.08 is the start of mid range (In NSW, it's slightly different in different states). Good thing to note for people from the USA travelling in Australia.
It used to be .08 in most West European countries. It’s closer to .04 now
Hopefully if Americans are driving at all they won’t drink in Australia. That would make it tougher to drive on the other side… oh and just for you, “Aussie Aussie Aussie!”
Like many laws some states have lower limits. Also underage or those with commercial licenses may fall under zero tolerance which can be from 0.2 to as low as 0.0
"I got a little TOO intoxicated," as if there is a level of intoxication that's ok. As my father told my then-fiancee, "Here's the bar. Help yourself. If you get drunk, I'll kick your [expletive deleted]."
2 millers is just the expression for what they remember drinking. Everything after that is lost somewhere never to be seen again! 🤣
The 48 year old lady probably tried to seduce the judge too. “Your honor, I can give you a good time…..”
That last one, you can tell the cop was super into her. That dude has some real character to ignore his feelings and finish the investigation.
@pepsicola7204 you act like what I said was a congratulations, it was of a shock that a cop had some real character to do his job. Clearly you keep the boot at the back of your throat
Watch out for these coyotes and smitten kittens😂😂 Bruce your knowledge has really been uplifting over the years lol.
Bruce you crack me up with your intros 😂 First it was Grandma on the loose, now I had to rewind to check you really said the last time you tried seducing a cop you ended up in cuffs! 😂
I love your content and been watching from the uk since the Johnny Depp case 💌
I have never tried to seduce a cop but had a cop stop me as a teen when I walking down the sidewalk ask me what I was listening to on my Walkman. 😂
True story. I had a sherif serving as bailiff at court follow me up to probation..where I had to register following the court proceedings to ask me out and give me his card. I did go out with him a few times. He was a hell of a nice guy and made for a great sorry and memory to take into my aging years😭😭 I'm 44 now and married..not getting hit on by sherifs but I'm also not in court anymore so...thats good
I got pulled over a few years ago by a really hot cop when I stopped at a blinking yellow trying to figure which way to turn after midnight and he wanted to see if I was drunk or stoned. I could see people getting angry over that.
