No,he doesn't get it. The 2ndA isn't for us, it is a restriction on government. All individuals in the world have the natural right to keep and bead arms. We are governed by consent (supposedly). But the people in this country are ignorant of all things constitutional. Hell, 99.9% of peoppe habe no idea what a right actually is. Like Joe here doesn't know. Second you are ignorant to all things constitutional or not.
Freedom Inc. all individuals in the world absolutely do not have the right to bear arms, I understand you’re trying to be “technical” and act smart here but the fact that everyone who meets the requirements can get a gun relatively easy is definitely a right. Most countries do not allow it and you would have to illegally buy one off of the black market and then be worried about getting caught for not having permission to own a weapon.
Americans do have it good with the 2nd amendment. We can only get a shotgun or rifle under license over here. It’d be nice to have a decent pistol in the house just Incase...

If not,you could own anything that you wanted. Quit fearing your government. Live free at all costs.
I live in an authoritarian country where there are no guns. The main reason I am trying to get USA CITIZENSHIP is the 2nd Amendment When you loose guns, you loose all the other rights
He's allowed to have a gun in Mexico. He's not allowed to carry it in public. Doing so would do him no good. Huge sections of that country are owned by criminals.
There is just 1 place in Mexico where you can buy legally a gun, and all of the allowed calibers are low, almost toys, the process to get a permit is long. A gun is the only counterweight against to an abussive government, this is one of the reasons why we are fucked up between cartels and bad cops fire, don't let this happen to your country, look what is happening in Mexico since the guns were banned.
"You don't realize how beautiful the second amendment is until you're somewhere it doesn't exist, or its taken away" I think everyone needs to hear that.

My best friend (RIP) was here for over 30 years, learned English, worked his ass off, never got in trouble, ran a 20 year business with his American born wife, raised kids, the whole damn thing!!! He worked, with a emigration lawyer, to become a lawful citizen, ran through every hoop, did everything he was supposed to do/ was asked to do, by immigration, paid out the ASS, because he wanted to be a U.S. citizen, loved this country with his whole heart!!! He died December of 2019, never achieving his dream!! And before you ask, he had NO criminal history in Mexico either!!! He was just a hard working, salt of the earth man, who walked the line, and came correct!!!!
Why didnt he go to retire in mexico? Oh right bc he was probably low income here and didn't want his family to know he didn't make the so called American dream a reality of his
Yes, other Hispanic people can be very aggressive. The first immigration officer that interviewed me was Hispanic and very hostile and demeaning. I was feeling so dreadful that day. The subsequent officers were white and were incredibly kind and helpful people. I don’t understand why this dynamic exists, but in a position of power within USCIS this happens a lot. I’ve had friends who’ve dealt with the same thing when working with USCIS.
I know what you mean. I am an American with a Mexican ethnic background, and grew up in a county with some racist/bigot white people that were hostile, but the worse assholes I have encountered in my life were other Mexican-Americans in the U.S. and Mexican in Mexico. The worst enemy of a Mexican is another Mexican.
Same for Indian people: Indian people are always more critical of another Indian immigrants. 2nd-3rd gen feel like they are above other Indians. Most of them would go out of their way to stop talking with you. Euros seem to not do that .. I wonder why ..
Everyone acting just because you’re an American citizen you all great. Fuck that Let’s get rid of the fucks that don’t do shit in this country and bring in the best of other countries. Cream of the crop
Just like the quote in Selena. Being Mexican american is tough. We gotta prove to Mexicans how mexican we are and we gotta prove how american we are to americans. We gotta learn about Frank Sinatra and learn about vicente fernandez.
As a Hispanic myself, the whole mental treatment talk is sooo true. I had never heard of things like depression, suicidal thoughts, angst, anorexia/bulimia, etc. until I moved to the US. It should also be noted that Hispanic countries are very religious, and many people who may be battling with depression can be perceived as "sad people who just need more prayers in their life". Also, what a lot of people consider bullying in the US, is perceived as just regular trash-talk between friends in many countries of the world (for me as a kid, bullying was just something you saw in American movies). It's kinda messed up for all the people who DO need medical help, but I guess in a weird it serves to balance all the "sensitivity" that American kids have.
I’m gonna get the vibe that the best route is somewhere in the middle, but god people are such pussies here in the US. In my case, I have diagnosed autism and it’s so cringe when people with it act like the world needs to revolve around them. I’m learning tho. Trying to toughen up a bit
The IT guy like I 100% see what ur saying but I’m conflicted cause I know a few people on the more severe end of the spectrum who quite definitely do need at least some form of environmental conformity for life to be at least manageable. Just curious where the cut off may b, cause belive me I’ve seen the opposite of ppl who’ll have minor minor minor add or ADHD and go insane when teachers/students don’t give them answers or make life as easy as possible for them
nik sullivan If it’s really bad they could just get a job that involves working from home. If they just need some accommodations than they can politely ask, but nothing should be legally required.
The IT guy fair. I was speaking more so at school, I know it all becomes conglomerated inevitably because it becomes a pattern and people form habits off it. Totally agree with the work from home solution though for a lot of people. It’s all entitlement once you get to adulthood if your not disabled from it, used to getting everything you want, you want a certain job or a lifestyle that you either can’t physically do or mentally are capable of and it bleeds into so much more. Even able people do the same shit
@Slayer Actually it was never the standard. The norm for European immigrants was to stick to their own languages and let the second and third generations learn English.
Would LOVE to see if you could pass the immigration test. Likely, you wouldn't. And what culture, what language? America I based off of immigration. And the US has a dumbed-down version of English at best...
@Cole yikes. Big yikes. Christianity was brought over by immigrants. Hence, why there is such a large Italian and Irish population in NYC. Why would you have to take such a test? Because even Canadians know more than you...as you say...you twat. You couldn't even name all 52 states without looking it up! Even if you truly believe the USA fights for Christianity, this belief had been fought for by numerous countries. That have adapted their conceptions through countless wars. You have yet to form your own opinions, so let's have a conversation.
Joe telling this dude they hopped the border just let em be they're fine, give em citizenship. This guy goes thru the ringer pays his dues and puts the work in to be a citizen. How's he supposed to take that?
Estevan Catano Disagreeing isn’t the same as complaining. Maybe the American spirit is the order that makes it so hard work is rewarded. Order like police that aren’t corrupt and fewer people apathetic toward others breaking the law or lying. Order Mexico has less of. Don’t assume I am racist or some junk either. I know Mexicans that feel exactly that way.
It's not surprising. A little known and uncomfortable truth is that white countries are the least racist and brown countries are the most racist. www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2013/05/15/a-fascinating-map-of-the-worlds-most-and-least-racially-tolerant-countries/

Mexicans...my own people...couldn't trust them as far as I could thrown them". He was a jeweler for 61 years before he passed.
In the Mexican culture you don't talk about your feelings. Its not a thing. You don't see a therapist if you're feeling depressed or having mental issues. Especially if you're a man. Medication is for the elderly or physically injured. As a 3rd generation hispanic American citizen, this kind of mentality is just barely phasing out.
Gjhammer Gjhammer wrong. There are things such as illegal guns. They’re made in other countries and are imported here and they have no marking or serial number and guns you can get here will have and will track you. Criminals and gangs always buy these imported illegal guns as they can’t be traced.
California compliant firearms are better baseball bats then actual guns. You will never see a criminal holding a California compliant simply because it’s so easy to make one themselves with all the illegal modifications like short barrels and folding stocks and full auto. Parts can be shipped directly to your door.
He's right I myself have anxiety and depression and when I go to Mexico its like goin back in time. You hardly see people on their phones and everyone is social and happy
@@mr.ditkovich6379 the thing is that you can’t never ever compare the number of depressed people in the US with a Latin American country. Depression is almost non existent in Lat Ame. In CA stealing is illegal, and private sales require a background check by law. So there is litterally no way a criminal can even have a gun in that state anymore. At least that's what I heard.
The same can be said of any group that comes to America. I recently studied the history of Mexico and decided to kind of look around at what Mexicans think of their historical figures. I stumbled upon guys arguing about traitor Mexicans turned Americans who are now "speaking the enemies tongue". Nutty to think that just a few hundred years prior Spanish was the enemies tongue.
If your government wasn't supplying cartels with guns and banning all drugs causing a massive demand maybe they're the kind of immigrants you'd be getting but no, Obama gives cartels guns, your war on drugs basically caused the cartels to get access to insane amounts of power and money, and yes Mexico is completely corrupt as well, the people there were ruined by Spanish caste system and religious fervor.
My grandpa brought all of his nine kids and his wife over to the states from mexico back in the 60s. He did it 100% legally- waited over a decade for each of his kids to get proper documentation, including my polio-stricken aunt who had a hell of a process immigrating. But at the end, he did it. Obviously I wouldn't be here if he hadn't done that, so I'm grateful. When asked why he left Mexico, after living his entire life there up to that point, he replied... "Fuck that shithole." Then he proceeded to build a business that is still going strong to this day, and bought as many guns to his heart's content. RIP abuelo!
Nice! Although I would definitely NOT resort to hating Mexico as a Whole, it’s a Country of Duality, it’s Honestly Beautiful, I was born and raised there, fortunately where I’m from was never that dangerous.
As a born and raised Mexican that still lives in Mexico I have to say that here is a great place to live as long as you stay in your lane and stay away from cartels and drug related stuff, If you just worry about your life and work, live your life in the right way you are going to be just fine
Unless you got money or a nice truck, in that case you’ll be a victim of organized crime. At least here in northern Mexico it’s super common to hear about people getting their truck stolen and business owners getting robbed by police
Not be able to trust law enforcement is really bad imo. In Honduras people pay just random man to protect their business with guns and machetes. Murder or disparition are not investigated. This is no way to live, Cartels or not. You're one of the lucky ones, who hasn't face major hardship.
I’m American born and raised, I can’t stand that place, it’s to controlled. 16 years in Mexico and I’d don’t even like to visit back home. I do agree with him about not being able to legally own a gun, if you shoot someone you have to dispose of the body yourself.
He's definitely right about the youth though, Mexican kids grow up in a more natural environment, are taught to be more resilient and to stand up for themselves. American kids nowadays have kind of lost what it's like to be a kid and are offended so easily, they are taught the world should adapt to them. Kids in Mexico, are outside a lot more and take part in everyday society a lot more as well. That could be one of the few things I like more about Mexico. I can say this because I have lived in both countries for quite some time.

9:19 mental health is the biggest issue. 20 years ago we didn't have the number of shootings we see today. As stress levels rise all over the country from various other issues, some people just crack. Lack of jobs, immigration, degradation of education system, social media, and the devaluing of the trades--it's all connected and results in the world we see today. It's the slow decay of every major empire--the politicians argue as the country burns.
England, the UK- pretty sure it's next to impossible to become a citizen there unless you have a career/income that is genuinely considered beneficial to the nation as a whole. Idk why ppl act like they have the right to just live wherever the hell they want. That's all I'm saying. 🙄
Having a job probably helps. But you just have to live there for 5 years. After 5 years you apply for citizenship. You have to provide some character references, pass a knowledge test about UK, jump through a couple hoops, and you got it.
Entering any country without applying for permission to do so is against the law. Incentivize lawbreaking and more people break the law. Rewarding lawbreakers punishes law abiding citizens and moves the country, day by day, more like the dysfunctional places they're trying to escape. How hard is that to grasp?
Moving from another EU country used to be as simple as getting a flight. Might become harder now that Britain is leaving the EU. Refugees are different, usually from non EU countries. I think they have to seek asylum and present some evidence that it is dangerous to stay in their own country, as they might be persecuted

I’m Mexican American and I want to add something to that list of things we love about the US. Here, it’s never, ever too late to get an education. I’m 35 years old and I can still get a job here. Try doing that in Mexico. At 35 years of age I’m considered too old in Mexico for anyone to hire me. I would be considered too old to get an education. You're WRONG Joe!.. I lived undocumented for 30 years and always paid taxes. The IRS provides you with a tax ID (itin) and you file taxes with that number. I've had work as waiter, sales rep., originating mortgage loans, case manager at law firms, tax preparer etc. And always paid taxes. I prepare the tax returns of many undocumented immigrants with their ITIN.
Dude chill, he's not coming at you specifically. My parents are undocumented workers with my mom working as a house cleaner and my dad as a construction worker. Nothing is forcing my parents to do their taxes since they don't even want to become citizens anymore. They have the option you have but I know people personally who are in the same situation that they are who don't pay taxes either. It's pretty fucking normal and you save more money that way.
I worked at a bakery in Minneapolis that was low-key known for hiring illegal immigrants, best place I ever worked too. I was welcomed completely, they would bring home made enchiladas and have birthday party's I was always welcome, offered rides and just yeah.. They were kindest yet hardest working people I had ever met, they even put up with my drug abuse and alcoholism til I could get help. I was never judged, or felt like an outsider. I.d.k my point is, there is this really fucked up version people like to say illegal immigrants are, and they're not, they're probably better than 90% of actual white families born here and I would take my Mexican, Guatemalan, Salvadorian, just South AMERICAN, friends over anyone else. I don't think people ever really put that together, This continent is south, north, central America, we're all American really.
I've worked with immigrants who came here illegally for 20 years and even a large percentage who were planning to be here temporarily would have still paid taxes and done the process legally if it was possible. Just like everyone else they are good person who just want to survive and support themselves and their families. On a side note, if the GOP were serious about ending illegal immigration they'd simply prosecute the employers and it would decrease by 50-75% easily.
Exactly. They could crack down on employment. Something is up tho. Those illegals work for low wages and hard jobs. It makes me feel bad for them. I’d like legal immigration to increase and give us al the good workers we need, then maybe they’d have a little more rights too. I’m sure the corporatists pay off the politicians to allow the ppl to stay and work. I just don’t like the open border thing, we can only help so many ppl.

As stress levels rise all over the country from various other issues, some people just crack.
Interesting.
So a refugee can’t enter your country, and within time become a citizen?
Moving from another EU country used to be as simple as getting a flight. Might become harder now that Britain is leaving the EU.

I was thinking the same thing! My parents and myself paid taxes using an ITIN.
Joe gets a lot of things wrong, tbh. Entertaining though.
How do you get an itin without documentation?
Finally he’s back!!!!!
Why do Canadians want to come to America? I thought they were living in utopia there...
There's no such thing as utopia. Life is hard here too.
Nope would trade a trudope for a Trump any day
We don't want to go there
Canadians come here to thaw.
Ed is always awesome. Heard him numerous times on Carollas podcast too, some great stories and insight!
My parents are legal but yet they still pay taxes every year, pretty much every illegal Mexican I know pays taxes
Yes sir so do my parents every year for the past 35 years
But they dont qualify for Medicare benefits at 65 or social security, which is BS
4:02 “most of the niggativity” lmao

Second amendment , it’s a beautiful thing. You don’t know what you have until you’ve lost it.
I’m ready
@Jacob Monnin the U.S. did everything to disarm people in the 3rd world.
Here in México nobody has guns, just police, army, private security, and as a citizen if you want one you HAVE to join a Hunting or Sport Association that will charge you a monthly fee.
I dont even know where i can buy a gun, not in Walmart, sports or camping stores either.
Its weird how amazing más even terrifying are each others country diferences.
Fernando Treviño Castro so I’m sure crime and murder is very low there right ?
@@freedomworks3976 like the dude in the video said, diferent crimes: we have worse robers, thiefs, shottings betwen drug cartels, and extortion to citizens by those cartels; but we're actually pretty scared by the US quantity of domestic and school shottings, i think all of México has had like one of those, like ever
Just go to any Border Town in United States and you'll find out about life in Mexico pretty quick
Paul Ramon “In United States”😂
Mexican Americans don't want economic competition from immigrants and fight against displacement. It's not uncommon and occurs all the time. With finite resources, people are going to push back on anyone who threatens that, regaedless of race and nationality.
this is one of my favorite podcasts love this guy

I grew up with Chicanos. I know exactly what he’s talking about.
Funny, he never mention Chicanos.
Jeff Abbott no you don’t lol
Truth, Mexicans hate Chicanos. "No eres mexicano naciste en el norte." Always hear that shit or "Mexicanos trabajan más mejor que chicanos porque nosotros venimos de la tierra." Yeah idk about racism my ass. My own kind tell me I am white not brown because I am from texas and not Mexico like them.
Ever hear the word “pocho”
@@thesleepyking420 you got a Mexican passport? Mexican is not a skin color, it's a nationality. If your parents are Mexican citizens, you can also claim your Mexican citizenship.
I know a young man that came to America when he was 15yrs old from Mexico. Got his citizenship when he was 22 and started his own business... he’s 30 now and his company is worth over a million. He thinks Americans are lazy and take way too much for granted
NotJo Texas
This guy is a gem, even two years later
He literally has an American sounding accent wtf? I am from Texas, a place with TONS of Mexicans, and they all have super thick Mexican accents when speaking English.
BFKAnthony817 they’re just fuckin wit u they were born on this side of the border
BFKAnthony817 dam how deep in Texas are you? Every Mexican I know speaks fluent English
@@natea.2911 bro I'm in Colorado and there are lots of Mexicans that don't speak English here, usually older Mexicans tho.
Worked with a guy from mexico that has been in the u.s. for 30 years and he barely spoke english. He was from texas
@@natea.2911 I am from the extremely large DFW metroplex with over 7 million people. Trust me, there are TONS here who speak zero English. We even have a place in Fort Worth known as "Little Mexico" with Spanish billboards and advertisements throughout. You don't find any English advertisements there because it is an immigrant town where people over a certain age, tend to have difficulty learning the English language.
In fact, I was at Walmart earlier this year looking for some kitten formula and met a person working there who didn't speak English. When I realized she didn't understand English I correctly assumed she spoke Spanish and attempted speaking to her. I started asking for "leche por bebe gato" and she knew what I was saying and directed me to a person who could help. I am a gringo, but I made it a point to at least learn some basic Spanish, and can even speak German too.
sounds like he said niggativity at 4:00 ha
igeto12 lmaoooooo Got Him!! He was about to say “Most of the Niggas” but it mixed with negativity
@igeto12 yup those are the confused barrio boys that wear Jordans......
You are reading into this way too much. The guy is Mexican. He has an accent. Albeit a slight accent but it’s still there. I don’t see the point in making something out of nothing. 🤷🏻♂️

Tobacco is big in eastern North Carolina and there is a lot of “illegal” workers but they’re working very hard and long days. They do a lot for the community and the tobacco industry I passed by a house where they all ride school buses and it made me sad that these good ppl with families have to live there life hiding like fugitives but they just want a better life for there family.
I lived in Carteret County and Never had a single bad encounter with any Latino. they usually were very polite and hard working. Now Black, White, and Middle Easterners, that is a different story
Tell yalls friends, family and neighbors
They came here illegally, so probably had a much worse life before they came to America.
Living in Brunswick County. I know what you're talking about
Out of all the non-English speaking countries Joe picked Netherlands 😄
They're literally rated the best English speakers in Europe. A lot of Dutch people even sound American slightly.
Worst thing is he called it Holland
True, many Americans think I must have lived in the US.
2:55 Best 2nd Amendment video I’ve seen in a while.
I hope in can still catch him on spotify.
Years ago I became obsessed with a song that was in Spanish, so I started asking all my Latino friends to translate it for me. Most of them claimed they could not understand it. They said the singer had some kind of weird dialect and was slurring. "Is he Cuban? Cuban Spanish is not real Spanish," etc. The more people I asked, the more hostility against Latinos I heard. Guatamalans are this, Hondurans are that, Bolivians are blah blah blah ... the most popular comment was "Salvadorans are the lowest of the low." WTF??? It was mind blowing. On the other hand, when I've mentioned that I'm part Filipino on my mom's side, I often hear "Filipinos are the worst Asians EVERRR." LOL Most Filipinos I know are nurses. Humans are tribal, and until Jesus comes back, I seriously doubt we will ever stop being our particular kind of racist.

Yes they can, many, many Europeans speak english.
I'd even say 99%. One Dutch person I know says, it's because no one in the rest of the world knows the Dutch language.
Dude so true u Dutch speak fucking amazing. Every time I played video games and met a Dutch guy they speak absolute perfect English its amazing
@@SHurd-rc2go You could say that about plenty of languages. I think its more about linguistic overlap, and the Dutch being tradesmen. Scandinavians also speak English well.
Bro, they speak Afrikaans in South Africa and Nambia, it's a off shoot of Germanic language. But we kind of understand each other in certain ways...
Plus in Holland, when you go High School(12-16 years old) you have to have English as a subject, you can't drop it during your studies.. Good education system in Holland I must say, and good quality too..
They do put into the economy and sales tax but they also take through free health care and sending money back to their country and filling up schools to the point where teachers have classes above capacity. This guy is right and enjoyed his point of view.
Undocumented workers do pay income tax with an ITIN number rather than a social security number.
What a cool dude! 2nd amendment he likes and the pussification of kids he doesn't, I agree haha

My feeling on the drug comparison would be: Down there they do heroin whereas up here we get addicted to Oxy’s
Nah, heroin is everywhere in the states. Oxy has become harder to get than heroin.
Here we have both. Just depends on how much money you have.
