We got to see our little baby Olli for the first time! So I share that time with you. It’s really special! 💜 Gender reveal coming soon… comment below what you think we’re having! 😄

Paul, we were encouraged by Morgan’s pregnancy because we all are in a barren season with something or the other. To see Morgan’s real raw journey with God, we all saw ourselves in our own closets weeping over our own delayed hopes.
When God answered her prayers , we also saw our own promises being fulfilled one day and we were encouraged.

Hello Morgan and Paul, I watch you because of Melissa Dougherty 😎I'm a Granny! My grandson is 12 weeks old. I just came back from looking after him for 10 days, my daughter had to return to work. We live in SA. I just love your videos, have recommended them to my daughter (please pray for her, she is going through a crisis of faith). I wanted to say I will never forget the nausea I experienced during my 3 pregnancies (18, 20 and 23 years ago) it was brutal. But I eventually realized that tge nausea itself was a sign, it was evidence of my pregnancy. A human was growing and using all surplus energy! I rejoiced in that. Also I remember feeling so exhausted (I was working) at night I couldn't undress. I would lie on the bed and cry!! My husband would laugh and help me. Even he was surprised by my level of exhaustion! But... It is soooo worth it!!

Hi Morgan! I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first child, a baby girl! I feel your pain, my first trimester was absolutely horrible. The “morning sickness” was all day sickness and it lasted well into my second trimester. It was so trying, I felt like nobody understood my pain. I could tell my husband was getting sick of me being in bed 24/7. I couldn’t eat, I lost almost 20 pounds but then all of a sudden one day it was gone! I had so much energy and am still feeling pretty great at 30 weeks so there’s light at the end of the tunnel! Hang in there mama! So excited for you and your new growing family!

Girl, I totally get you! First trimester is no joke. 😬 I just barely got to 14 weeks pregnant and the first trimester was very difficult. Nauseous almost all day from about 7 weeks to 12 weeks. I lost 10 lbs from food aversions and vomiting. It does get better!! 🤗 Sending prayers your way! 🙏🏼

I felt the same way... My first trimester was such a struggle and no one told me it could make you feel so incredibly ill. I threw up 1 or 2 times a day from week 6 to 20 before it got better... There's light at the end of the tunnel though! I'm praying for you throughout this journey 💜

My first trimester was so weird 😂 I would get no nausea at all then randomly get the extreme urge to throw up. I had to run and hope I’d make it to the nearest bathroom cause man it would come out of nowhere. The fatigue was bad 😭 I could take a 5 hour nap and still wake up so exhausted I could barely open my eyes. But by my second trimester most my symptoms were gone and it got so much better! I was so confident I was having a boy and I did! Sometimes it’s that mother’s intuition 😂
Pregnancy is hard but so worth every minute
Also I think you guys are having a girl! 😊 God bless you guys!

Hey I’ve got three boys, I absolutely struggled with 1st trimester, I had intense nausea 24/7 until 18-24 weeks. I nearly took medication the third time because it was so bad I couldn’t bear it. I did find the nausea wrist bands really helpful that hit pressure points on your wrists. When I forgot to wear them I felt so sick.
But my point of writing is I wanted to say that I remember 8 weeks was always the hardest! Somehow I hit a wall then and something felt easier when I got to 9 weeks. Hang in there 😩

I feel like women talk about the first trimester but nobody hears them unless and until it happens to them. That was the case for me, anyway and mine are 10 and 12 years old. There are numerous personal blogs and books documenting these experiences. Women without children tend to side with men thinking that pregnant mothers are exaggerating, and expect them to proceed with life and work as normal. Like most things, the information isn't absorbed until it becomes relevant to survival. I truly think this happens because who would want to be pregnant when focused on how hard it can be. The flip side, is the joy is so much greater than any pain, that every woman who has been through it knows it's worth it and wouldn't want to discourage anyone from taking the journey to motherhood. I think you get the raw truth from new moms because they often talk about it to process and heal. Thanks for keeping it real by talking about your experience. I'm sure you are an encouragement to many. Oh, and I think you will have a girl, but either gender will be wonderful!

Yeah... I nearly died in my first trimester because of my Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I suffered this in all 3 of my pregnancies and it's AWFUL!!!! I was literally bed bound, laying flat in my bed for 3 whole months 😭😭 I couldn't move, couldn't eat, couldn't drink. Lord have mercy!!! It horrifies me... the idea of having any more 😳 I'm scared.

So exciting! I remember my first trimester being rough. I hit my peak crappiness right when I hit 9 weeks and then I started to feel better by 14 weeks I think. My baby was due September 12th last year and she came on the 19th. I heard her heartbeat for the first time on Valentine's Day last year, so right around this time :) Pregnancy goes so fast, enjoy it (the 2nd trimester was the best--cute belly, no sickness, and not super uncomfortable)!

(I know that’s rare and a blessing) but I have a friend who was sick her whole pregnancy :( I felt so bad for her! But you got this girl!! It’ll all be so so worth it when your sweet miracle baby is here. Pregnancy and birth is no joke!! It’ll show you how strong and amazing you truly are! God created us for this. Women’s bodies are so so amazing!

🤍 you’ve got this momma. I feel like people DO talk about how challenging pregnancy can be BUT it’s hard for us to understand the true weight of it until it happens for us. I’m noticing it’s like that for a lot of things motherhood. I used to think that there was no way it could be difficult because I just wanted to be a mother so bad… but when you’re operating on No sleep, you’re stressed because baby is crying and you’re doing everything you can in your power to comfort them and they are still upset 😢 praying the Lord would do what is in His power.. whew it can be tough! Everything motherhood is way challenging to the flesh. It’s like a furnace but in the very best way.
My motto for each hard thing is “this is temporary.” Each hard thing is temporary and there will be a brief break at some point. Our little one is almost 7months already and I’m already just mourning and missing the newborn days while rejoicing that he’s growing. They really mean it when they say motherhood is the fulllll spectrum of emotions!

I'm 8 wks 6 days!! I had Covid back in Nov before I got pregnant. My husband had cold-like symptoms for about a week but I got SLAPPED with it about a week after he got it because I didn't realize I was getting a high viral load from being around him constantly. I had a low fever for 9 days! This was pre-omicron granted so variants were harsher. So glad you had a mild case!! Love to hear pregnant ladies pulling through it instead of the constant fear mongering about complications. If it ends up in my household again while I'm pregnant I'll be keeping my distance from my husband so I don't end up with such a bad case again

I had nausea 24/7 for about 12-13 weeks. I barely threw up, I’m like you, I fight it. Lol I hate puking. And the fatigue is also crazy. You don’t realize it until you’re in the thick of it. You’re so thankful to be pregnant but also so freaking sick. It’s a weird thing. I’m a teacher and I would just have to walk out of my class every time a wave of nausea hit lol and keep talking about the struggles of it. Be real. 2nd trimester is way more fun, you got this!! I just started my 3rd trimester and I’m back to tired lol

Pregnancy is amazing but can be so hard! I've always had really rough first trimesters. I'm actually 6w4d pregnant now, and I'm seriously so exhausted and constantly nauseous. 😩 But I'm also blessed to be a stay at home/homeschooling mama to a 5, almost 4, and 2yo...and they give me about 2 seconds during the day to lay down and one of them is usually waking me up at night still. Just surviving over here and thankful for God's grace and forgiving children. 😂

Yes! Morning sickness was rough with all of mine. I've had two girls then two boys and actually my last boy was by far the worst and lasted the whole pregnancy. Maybe because I was older 🤷. Also, I've had terrible bid ridden migraines with two of mine but magnesium/riboflavin helped soooo much with the frequency of them.

I think the pains and hardships of pregnancy AND motherhood are just hard to understand really unless you’ve actually gone through it. So people may have said something about 1st trimester but it really doesn’t stay until we are actually going through it. Also, not everyone gets nauseous and with really bad morning sickness (and even it can be different for the same mama with different pregnancies), and for others it actually doesn’t go away after the first trimester, it stays through out the whole pregnancy 🥴. Hopefully for you it will go away after the first trimester, most of the time that’s what happens so there’s some hope hehe.
Oh and also, if you got covid, the mix of coughing a lot and being pregnant don’t help much either because coughing a lot can make you gag quicker, so hopefully as the coughing goes away so will the nauseous feeling, at least some of it 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Anyways, many blessings for you and the little one inside you and your journey thorough the whole thing 🙏🏼

Pregnancy is SO hard!!! I threw up every single day with my first daughter from 6 weeks until the day they induced me and I delivered. I had horrible morning sickness with my second daughter in the first trimester and then it let up but I had really bad pelvic girdle pain throughout the second and third trimesters with her. Most days it hurt to walk and I spent almost that whole pregnancy laying on the couch while trying to take care of my toddler (my girls are 19 months apart) it is so hard and I had so much mom guilt. I love my girls so much, and I am so grateful that I was able to get pregnant and have 2 healthy girls but I absolutely hated being pregnant!

Your due date is my oldest son’s birthday 🥺 hang in there girl! The first trimester seems to drag on because it feels miserable but you’ll soon look back on it as a special memory! There’s so many miserable and beautiful moments in pregnancy and motherhood, but it really makes us stronger in the Lord, and even more reliant on Him! God bless!!

If you’re 8.5 weeks you’ve got like 4 and a half weeks left of the first trimester! You’re so close, girl! I know it is ROUGH. You hear people talk about how hard it gets at the end but no one prepares you for the first trimester. It’ll get better very soon! I had horrible nausea and food aversions and didn’t throw up until I was in labor so hopefully you won’t either 😅 praying for relief for you very soon mama ❤️

Also in my first trimester - Unisom and Vitamin B6 (recommended by my OB) have been A LIFESAVER when it comes to morning sickness. I forgot it one day and OH MY GOODNESS, it was such a difference.

I had leg pain from Covid 😳 so strange. They say that Covid fatigue can last for a month and I also feel like I still have it 2 weeks later. That + pregnancy is probably even harder. Make sure to drink sooo much water and make yourself eat.

Pain in both legs? I'm no medical doctor, but if it's only in one leg maybe make a quick checkup if it is thrombosis. Just to make sure all is good. Greetings from Germanys

Morgan, nobody told you this because they probably didn’t experience it as bad :/ my pregnancies are incredibly hard, HORRIBLE nausea and vomiting and so many women just can’t relate :/I’m so glad you’re through it now..? Im assuming! Though for me I’m pretty much nauseous up until baby comes out lol! So worth it though!! You are BLESSED!

Just some hope, but lots of women get morning sickness bad the whole first trimester (or whole pregnancy for all that matter!) But my morning sickness usually left around 9 or 10 weeks with all of my pregnancies! So hope similar for you ☺️
And you poor thing, Covid, then early pregnancy!! I couldn't imagine. Just getting over Covid myself and I would hate to be pregnant soon afterwards haha. All the best!

I think no one tells you because they don’t want to scare you. But also there is a huge range of ways you can feel. My first 2 pregnancies I was sick until 30 weeks. I would throw up like 10 times a day. I was in college with my first baby and when I would leave class and smell the dining hall I’d throw up on the ground outside lol. But my third pregnancy a friend told me to eat raw carrot salad but I was too lazy and just ate raw carrots and it actually cured my nausea. Raw carrots remove excessive estrogen from the gut which can potentially be causing the nausea.

As much as I loved being pregnant. I threw up for the whole of my pregnancy till the day I gave birth and he was overdue. I had to get induced. I also dealt with a month of full body non stop itchiness. Other than that everything was wonderful. I didn't feel tired I don't think. I think it's also different when you're much younger; as I was 17-18 years old in my pregnancy. But, yeah every woman's pregnancy is different ranging from horrible, to a breeze. I will keep praying for you and bubs! #GIRL

So, my experience has been nausea peaks at 9-10 weeks and then I get some relief because the placenta has taken over. Everyone is different tho, I have a friend due 2/28 who's still struggling with it. Make it a matter of prayer, the Lord cares about it all!!!

First trimester with both mine was roughhhh. So sick. It also can be mentally challenging because you don't have any evidence of being pregnant (can't feel baby yet, no bump, etc.), so that can be discouraging. I always carried some peppermint essential oil with me for when I felt nauseous in public...and keep snacks on hand, things go south when your tummy gets too empty😅 hang in there mama ♥️🙏🏻
