That was a different type of ride. A rocky/deserty type of environment for most of it. Living in the desert Southwest of the USA, I relate to this ride. The house on either side of the tracks were amazing. Thanks for showing me a part of the world of Croatia that I will never see in reality.
Great channel. Balkan is really beautiful and I wish that the people there would finally settle down their differences and grievances. In contrast to western Europe it is touching to see the old style flagman on these stations and junctions.
western Europe and usa are really beautiful, I wish that people there would finally settle down their religious and especially racial differences and tensions, and white racists would accept their future Muslim and Mexican majority in peace. In contrast to Croatia is heartbreaking to notice how in Western Europe and the USA there are still old-style homeless on stations and juncitions and about half of people do not own place they are living in. Sadly, Croatia is not Balkan, maybe your mother was on Balkan.
Whilst these journeys in the Balkans are a joy to watch with its magnificent scenery and the old style flagman is something of nostalgia it seems that there is a need for a massive investment in the Railways which im sure will come in the future it be nice to see some of the lines electrified but nonetheless Great Videos Rail Relaxation
@deltic1964 I am glad that you like it. The sceneries are really great. And eventually they will do the necessary works. I am doing everything to improve the videos.
originally the line from Knin to Bihac (in the former Yugoslavia) was electrified, but the overhead wires were removed and the line stopped running trains since the Balkan wars. There are some plans and projects to restore the line (as a "more direct" route between Zagreb and Split), but I think there should be a collaboration between Croatia and Bosnia, something it's not easy to see nowadays. And the fact that there could be unexploded bombs from the Balkan wars near the railway...
Beautiful video! Professionally done with useful info superimposed on the left. As a passenger I used same train many times and enjoyed it every time. Had different view, this one is much better and more scenic. Bravo
@paolopetronio8260 I am preparing a new video with all the tunnels included. Yes, not much have changed. We are all hoping for improvements on the line. Beautiful landscapes.
Nije.
Dođe povremeno kakva (nostalgična) incijativa o obnovi prometa, no uglavnom to brzo zamre.
