- A whole lot of lip service. Anyway seriously, survival is not as bad as some people think. Just stop looting everything and searching every corner of the map. Its a lot of rng on loot so just use what you have, it all works. Buuuut ill put 2 sets down below
2 great setups for survival are:
Sniper Build :
Hunters Pistol/Sniper Rifle or Hunters Pistol/Crossbow
Slayer Set
Animosity Charm/ Supremacy Ring/ Heartseeker
Mod Power:
Spitfire/Devastator or Revolver/Assault Rifle for interchangeable mods
Cultist/Labyrinth Set (one for mod generation, one for mod damage, up to you)
Galenic Charm/Supremacy Ring/Gift of Iskal ring

k, I'll go over the strat my friends and I have done to make getting to 10 not so much of a pain for people working on this.
1 - Go in with a group of three.
2 - Figure out the roles of each person, one being a healer. The role of each person will decide the traits you will pick up. This means you stack and priorities what you pick up.
3 - Reset until the trinket pillar has the aggressors bane. This will make all the mobs run to one person and everyone can pull from them.
4 - Every 3rd boss is a world boss so plan accordingly. Person with the Aggressor's Bane should switch to a boss ring before the boss.
5 - Try to get through the levels as fast as you can. Every boss kill will make you lose 1 min and 30 sec with only 6 min per level. For the first three levels just push through and pick up with a straight shot to the boss.
- Note - Daredevil Charm is only good till the enemies are level 5. Starting with talisman and/or Sagestone is a good boost. Dont be afraid to get armor, weapon and jewelry fillers. Unless it goes against what you have, its better than nothing.
Getting scrap is worthless when you can't beat the first boss

I just bought the swamp's dlc and going thru the Survival mode, not really hard when encountering the classic maps, until I get into the new area where the bosses are invisible and dashing around the area, I kinda freaked out and laughed when I die from falling into the hole I never knew was there 😂

Thank you for this video. I was wondering why I didn't seem to get any rewards after questing in Survival mode for a couple hours on each of two runs. Turns out, I didn't kill enough bosses. Ok, ANY bosses lol. At least now I know I won't get anything out of it just surviving as long as possible. Thank you!
Yeah once I realized you get *nothing* unless you kill a boss, I kinda lost interest. I don't like wasting my time.

Good advice, but I can't read the final list because the stupid windows cover it. I really wish YT would wait until a video is actually *over* before showing those, I'm so sick of missing the last ten seconds of everything because I can't see it.

You can power off your console.. this has been working for me. If you’re playing solo. Just wait til you get to the labyrinth and power off. I’m at work but have a 5 boss deep survival run waiting at home. Took me a while to figure out and the patch of course ruined my game the other day as it restarted the game but for the most part you can do that

Do you get to keep all the items and weapons your gain thru this mode?
For the consecutive bosses kill yes you get those items for your characters (o:58), the other stuff you get while playing this mode no you don't get the items.
I've done 6 runs.... I have only killed one boss
Health registration does not suck I turned myself into Wolverine with that armor I regenerate 8 health per second in this game I would call that good

Not alot of people know this but you can get a ring just by buying 50 or 100 things in this mode i dont know the exact amount you need to buy cuz i got it so long ago. I use the elder armor for the dragon heart not being consumed it's like really good for revives and menders charm

No matter what I do I can't even get to the first boss I'm playing on the Nintendo switch it just seemed like a good idea to get this game on the switch however this absolutely nobody in matchmaking so I can team up with anyone so I'm trying to run this game solo and it is so difficult is there any way to increase the amount of money or armor you start with in survival? I haven't got my ass handed to me in a game in awhile and this one's definitely making me feel sad all I want to do is try to get those crystals to give you the better armor in the regular game it's just a cosmetic thing I'm not sure game is very confusing.
Does the level of your character matter in this mode? Like my character is fresh out of the tutorial and I’m pretty much a noob.

I fckin hate this mode. My rng is awful… no matter what I start with my traits almost never help with any thing I have.
Yea, the traits are the weakest part of that mode, a lot of the time. I wouldn't even worry about them. The big thing is armor, damage and healing.
Summons can be HUGE. If you have the turret or skull summons, and you pop this during a boss fight they will inflict a lot of extra damage very quickly.
You cant play survival withought this DLC?
How is daredevil charm good if i have 3 pieces of armor?
Cuz it gives bonus damge with every unequiped armor piece good for early 1 shot mobs till lvl 5 then its best to get like 1 or 2 pueces since u get 15% dmg boost per uneequiped armor piece
@@Solaire_Of_Astora420 By that do you mean unequipped in my inventory? So lets say i have an equipped head, chest and legs but have 2 more pieces in my inventory. Doni get the bonus for those 2 despite having all my slots equipped?
"consecutive" what does it mean with that? there are no 100 bosses on the game :S
They repeat randomly
@@lennyking1340 they cycle randomly. They don't repeat until you've beaten all of them.

I really don't understand why they made random bosses. Yeah yeah yeah, a rogue-like game. If people just restart until they have good gears to start or easy early bosses, this mechanics is nothing but a cheap way to make you keep gambling. This is already a punishing PVE oriented game. Starting with poor DPS or DLC bosses or strangers is a guaranteed failure. Most players struggled with normal difficulty is totally unacceptable since there are three more.

The rewards for boss killing are given to all characters in your account, except in survival mode.
But the equipment you get in the maps stay until your run ends

Nah, survival is a roguelike, though there are 3 more tickets to unlock now for all your chars, everything else is temporary
