      @@TheGreatBaronOBeefDip I got the red ones.They are great. Just as the normal dark purple 2 mm Delrin 500 ones or the white ones Yngwie really plays, the white 2 mm ones. He always says he plays the 1.5mm ( as you can buy in lavender colour) Dunlops in white, but then he holds the 2mm ones in his hands.

    • @TheGreatBaronOBeefDip
      @TheGreatBaronOBeefDip 2 роки тому +1

      @@sveniegalus That's strange that his white ones are 2 mil, when he says 1.5.

    • @sveniegalus
      @sveniegalus 2 роки тому

      @@TheGreatBaronOBeefDip He used to play in the early days the 1.5 mm in white, then switched over to 2 mm .Both of them were in his Dunlop made signature white. I got 4 of his picks he threw into the crowd at concerts. Two old ones 1.5mm, 2 of the later ones were 2mm. All with slightly different imprints. When you look closer in his Videos, they are 2mm. Just take a closer look at Premier Guitar Rig run down Yngwie Malmsteen near end of the vid where he holds them into the camera.

    It's very obvious that you're applying a BS picking approach when using the regular pic and then you switch over to a much more refined picking technique when you use the yngwie pick

    Yngwie's sound fuller and more agressive. But I wonder how they feel since they have a round tip. I'm usually playing sharpy picks. I'm so used to the sharp tip that whenver I play a pick with a round tip I miss the attack which leads to me misdjudging the distance between the pick and the strings which means I overpick alot.

    • @HankCoffey
      @HankCoffey  2 роки тому

      Yeah, I did this video joking. I use sharp picks also. I actually had a hard time playing clean with the Yngwie picks. 🤣

      I'm purposely playing bad with the comparison pick.

    • @juancasas4821
      @juancasas4821 2 роки тому

      Yngwie´s always used rounded picks. In interviews it´s common for him to give the advice: dunlop 1.5 mm, the purple one. That model is the dunlop delrin 1.5mm, which comes in purple if bought commercially, or with yngwie´s stamp for only three times the normal price.

      @@HankCoffey haha, do you think they Are good tho? Its currently 15 dollars in my country but it’s a yngwie pick, so i want to buy it lol. I’ve only had cheap picks and even some starts to fall apart on the top

    • @HankCoffey
      @HankCoffey  Рік тому

      @@michaelmonster They are good if you like a rounded, slick resistance pick. It makes me play sloppy. I like to feel the string being picked, with a little resistance.

Ich wechsel auch ständig zwischen den1,5mm lavender und 2mm dark purple , die neuen und alten Signature Picks hab ich auch, genau wie auch original Tour Picks, die auf Konzerten gefangenen, er schmeisst ja viel !!! darunter 2 Stück 1,5mm ganz frühe Phase , und die späteren 2 Stück 2mm , alle mit verschiedenen Imprints und Styles. Ein Pick ist so wichtig wie ein Geigenbogen ! ;-)
