    Master , Higaonna fue mi maestro y hoy en día es 10 Dan del verdadero Goju Ryu de Okinawa , considerado uno de los hombres más peligroso del karate , es totalmente un pedazo de hierro , sus manos son rocas y su violencia al ejecutar sus movimientos Yam perfecto no tiene otro igual , dedicado toda una vida al karate de Okinawa , no al karate deportivo ,

    No sport here. Every single technique meant to kill or incapacitate. This man in his younger days ( even now most probably) could hit you any were on your body and do some serious damage. A true Martial Artist and gentleman.

    My instructor was sensei Daniel PONDE.
    I remember this period.
    Higaonna IS strong as a Tank,fast as cat.

    this legend trained the late great .gary spiers . gary . lived with him for a while and went on to become the worlds toughest boncer body guard in the world theres some videos off gary spiers on you tube when hes older

    Not a great demonstration as there's no resistance from the attacker. No fool is just going to throw a punch without a guard and just stand still letting you counter.

      thats why he does it simultaneously. notice that the moment he "blocks" the attack is almost the same moment his first attack connects. All the following attacks are just examples and ideas of where to strike next.
      The thing is, if you time your defense and counter right, opponent gets stunned and you can follow up without much retaliation. Remember, self defense is very different from consensual fighting, meaning it always starts out with full power and commitment from both parts, there is no "studying" the opponent's movements and feinting and stuff.
      Check out videos online, you'll notice that most street fights break out full power and the winner is decided very soon afterwards (usually less than 30secs)
