Crazy weather everywhere. It’s been so hot I’ve been in garden in a singlet and I have capsicums turning red that I put in pots for the winter…. Had severe frosts last few weeks. In 2 days time it’s officially winter (YAY) and we are forecast to get an arctic blast with severe rain warnings for the east coast. Yes can’t wait!
Currently in a cooling pattern here and so happy to get it. Tornadoes have been on another level this year, and I'm just glad the major damage has missed us so far. Cool, frosty mornings are a true joy!
@@OldSchoolAlaska yes I head outside while it’s dark , coffee in hand wander round my yard watch the stars disappear as the sun rises for the day. Frost on the spiderwebs never ceases to amaze me just so pretty then the sun melts it all away. Hope the tornados keep their distance this year.
The forests definitely need the rain.
I hear fire season is early this year. Hope you get that rain soon.

This was more of a high wind event and a heavy short down pour. Tornadoes are definitely on the rise.
I'm getting crazy weather here at Hatcher Pass Acres as well. It rains at night, the whole day is cloudy then, around 3 or 4 pm the Sun comes out.
I hope things get settled down. But then again, it is Alaska, so you never really know what to expect.

Definitely. Unfortunately, I think we are gonna bake by mid-July.
