Frank The foragers after you move the hive to the new location you run the risk of the flying bees returning to the old site and getting lost.Try to fill the entrance with grass (they will take care of it) so they know something is different force to reorientate you can also add a small branch with leave in front to hive. good luck. one easy upgrade, drive t-post you have in ground at the 4 corners, and just wire the insulated plastic post to it, give you much more stability with what you have on hand
