Your content is great, encapsulates the great figures of 40k in their most pivotal and important attributes. A really fantastic means of appreciating these great figures.
The Knights of Lupus had a good point that others in the knightly orders sorta shared. If Lion El’ Johnson wiped out all the beasts on the planet then what reason would there be for the knights to continue to exist. Many of the knights grew up their entire lives dedicated to fighting and had no idea how to live in a peaceful society nor had many skills outside combat. This concern was later shared by some space marine legions who worried that after the Great Crusade was complete that there would be no need for them or even that they would be a threat now because of their warring nature. Some feared that they would be banished from the galaxy or even culled. This isn’t a far fetched theory since the Emperor did have the Thunder Warriors culled when he no longer had use for them.
To be the First Captain of a Legion was to be one of the most powerful and important warriors in the Galaxy, and they were both champions and villains in history.

I don't blame Luther. Turning their forest world into some desolate forge world and letting the chaos beasts come back wouldn't really instill loyalty to the imperium for me either.
The Raven Guard are an odd one out. When you realize they don't have a first captain. Since Corax reorganized his Legion to have a sole Commander of each specialized role. Agapito Nev Commander of the Talons the Tactical Marines of the Raven Guard. Branne Nev Commander of the Raptors their supposed heavy hitting shock troops. Soukhounou who later became the Commander of the Hawks after his predecessor Solaro An was killed on Istvaan V. Air support and vehicle specialist. Gherith Arendi Commander of the Shadow Wardens later Black Guard. The Honor Guard of Corvus Corax. All of them seem to not have any authority over the other, similar to the Dark Angels and their voted lieutenants of each of their hexagrammaton wings. But when Corax almost decided to sacrifice himself and his remaining Raptors to let the remaining Raven Guard and Space Wolves escape Yarant, he decided to leave the title of Legion Master to Gherith Arendi, which surprised his Commanders who urged him to not go.
