Any Norton Buffalo fan, especially harmonica players like myself, has to know about all his other musical contributions, especially his first solo albums, "Lovin' in the Valley of the Moon" & "Desert Horizon" (that I discovered in 1978 watching him on an Austin City Limits TV show on PBS and made me want to learn to play harmonica)... and his work with Roy Rogers, and his earliest work with Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen... I believe one of his last works was with George Kahumoku, Jr on their album "From Paradise".
Plus all the other musical artists that he played with over the years, like Bonnie Raitt in the song "Runaway" where he plays and switches between 5 different keyed harmonicas... just amazing !
Check out his playing on the 1975 movie "Dogpound Shuffle" with David Soul (Norton Dubbed his harmonica playing)... I have the movie and excerpts on my UA-cam Channel.
I love finding new recordings of Norton !!
