- If you practice scales and arpeggios just for the sake of practicing them, you’re missing the point. Connect the dots when you practice and you’ll find more purpose and meaning in those “boring” scales.

This is the most valuable step in my learning! 'Where else can I use this? Where else does this exist?' You play beautifully. Thanks for this!
Transfer of Learning is what makes the learning process fun and meaningful, I'm so glad you get it!
I really needed to hear this. Thank you for the video.
Thanks!
Thank YOU!
Outstanding.
I am on week 6 of your 12-Week-Major-Key-Challenge. After watching this video, I will go back on the move to get a feel for the next 6 major keys. Thank you for the inspiration (and the playlists 😉)!
Awesome! I think "getting a feel" for the last 6 major keys is a great way to think about it. There's no need to perfect every key right away but if when we actually PLAY a piece in one of those keys, it'll be very handy to have that foundation set.
Why should you practice scales and arpeggios? Cuz they sound absolutely sick! Harmonic minor especially is such a powerful moving scale to play and improvise in!
🙌 💯
👍👏
Can I wear socks with orange stripes though? I like to give music more colour. 😂😉
🤣 yes!!
