Lisa is my favorite that I've seen so far and have been watching a lot from various people. Her enthusiasm is most certainly refreshing and so very helpful. I love her videos.
I love how you initially used the formulas in the key of C and briefly mentioned that they're also applied to other keys. AND you mentioned the importance of being solid with our major scales! Love it!
Guitar is my main instrument, but have been playing piano for almost 20 years! Just like guitar, I never actually learned the notes on either. I’ve been using piano videos to teach me on guitar. Your presentation is perfect for that! I actually understand what you’re teaching, and it somehow matches up with the guitar perfectly!
Is there a system to help with memorizing all these chords in different keys? If I'm correct, it would be 432 chord shapes to memorize with all the inversions!
My question is, could there be a link to show us the principles of how to apply these chords in songs..when moving from doh to fah, what chords could be used etc..could there be a tutorial for that too.Thank you so much
Please am having a little challenge as a "Beginner Beginner". Though am familiar with few basic chords, but my big challenge is : WHEN A WORSHIP/PRAISE SONG IS RAISED, how do I know the Chord progression to play as beginner on the piano when to play doh, fah, soh, etc?
Help, please. Lisa did a video (I believe it was towards the end of one) where she showed the different 3-note chords (just using the 1-3-5) that could be played in the Cmajor scale. She started with C-E-G, moved up one note and played D-F-A for Dminor, then E-G-B for the Eminor, and so on. I can't remember which video that was, and I would be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction with a link. Thanks, all, and have a great day!
Amazing vid,I know I'm asking too much but...can u teach me how to play"when I was your ma"n plz, this song I find it hard to play and I want to perform that song, sorry
The C diminished chord kinda sounds like it’s gonna play a Db major chord after that with the notes Ab Db F playing at the same time and the C dominant 7 chord sounds like it’s transferring to an F major chord.😅😅😅
As an accordion player I find accordion is quite superior to poor piano learner 😂😂😂 P.S. it's a humor, I am learning piano now.😊 An accordion requires much more shoulder strength, unfortunately 😂😂
This should be an example to all teachers: learning is easier when there is joy and happiness! Really helpful UA-cam channel. 😇
Hear hear.

I agree 100% she’s so entertaining to listen to. A lot of the UA-cam videos from other channels are boring. She’s a great teacher

After years and years of mind bending guitar scales and chords switching to keyboards is a profound experience with your expert teaching.
You guys made note reading so easy to understand for me, and now with the chords! Thank you so much Pianote! You guys are amazing.
Thank you for sharing the chart!

Great video!

Lisa's videos are always amazing. My favourite piano teacher of all times❤.
I would recommend learning the chords C,D, G, A, Em, Am, Dm, E first in that order.
Thanks! Please do a followup for 6th, 9th, sus chords etc.
thanks lisa your the best

Excellent!
🌞👍🎹🎶🎶🎶
Thanks 🎹 👍
Thank you for your amazing way of teaching ❤ I will be grateful if you make a video about learning Beethoven's silence 🎹
My major issue is remembering how to work with the sharps or flats, ugh! Especially with inversions
I’m learning this on a 120 year old reed organ… and man some of those chords sound spoooky!!!
This is fun
What brand is your piano
please review your piano.
Pls we need examples and best scenarioes on when to use them
Hi, can you explain when to use these chords?
Please am having a little challenge as a "Beginner Beginner". Though am familiar with few basic chords, but my big challenge is : WHEN A WORSHIP/PRAISE SONG IS RAISED, how do I know the Chord progression to play as beginner on the piano when to play doh, fah, soh, etc?
You guys deleted a ton of videos I had on a playlist...love the channel!
Hi Lisa, I found this kinda like a chord pair - C, F# AND G#. Is this any sort of existing chord?

Hi sweet Lisa!

❤❤
4:12 is a Maj 007
Cool❤ l
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The augmented chord is kinda scary...
what about 9th chords?
The C diminished chord kinda sounds like it’s gonna play a Db major chord after that with the notes Ab Db F playing at the same time and the C dominant 7 chord sounds like it’s transferring to an F major chord.😅😅😅
❤
💗🙏💗
great, maybe even too much for the song, but funny and useful.
13th’s?
Are you Robyn?
😘😘
How many channel do you have?
Couldn't help but play those other voicings on that minor chord, huh? lol...*OK, back to the video😅
lol these comments would have me going crazy if I was a complete beginner. She leaves a major part out of how to figure out what your 3,5,7 notes are.
I think she messed up the last example for E chord 😅
just wonder what your definition for 'beginners' is.....
As an accordion player I find accordion is quite superior to poor piano learner 😂😂😂
P.S. it's a humor, I am learning piano now.😊 An accordion requires much more shoulder strength, unfortunately 😂😂
