- Heard about this police station and i thought id pay them a visit and see if the rumours were true safe to say they are no wonder people hate police stations if this is the level of care they DONT RECEIVE
There is clearly something wrong with that receptionist and the other staff. I hesitate to suggest what, as it might cause even more offence than they created by there negative attitudes. Such poor unprofessional service by them that is obviously not being addressed by the managers. The older lady and two young ladies were fine but generally the service was very poor.
"I work here. You don't."
This is really sad, given "this day and age" when staff are trained to be respectful when they are there to serve the public.
A smile from a staff member can help reassure someone approaching the front counter, instead we get this filth, and they aren't even coppers.

Police staff see how the real police handle the public, so they treat the public the same way. Shocking really. Imagine a shop treating customers this way? They wouldn't be employed for long. Seems anyone who works in "AUTHORITY" seem to be difficult with members of the public.
Everyone has a legal right to claim a copy of P.A.CE to understand our rights. All of this nonsense about its difficult to print is utterly pathetic. They should keep a number of copies prepared. The Law is clear, it must be available to view at all police stations….not that , lets send you to a library or tell you to use the Internet or just keep you waiting so long that you die of starvation. This is a legal right being denied. As for the staff, where do they find these guys ? Who the hell lets them pass an Interview ? Also, does anyone at all connected with the Police know anything about GDPR ? Good stuff, but try and stay calmer, the calmer you are the worse they come across. Make the story about them, not you
@@rickc8865 I believe this is an exercise in rights. Do we uphold them or not. We either do, or we do not. We can not sort of . The legislation is clear. IT MUST BE AVAILABLE to all. No ifs, no buts, no restrictions. It does not matter if they throw it in the bin. The Police Forces in the Uk cost taxpayers £21 billion in 2020. If a few hundred is wasted in a mas print, so what…£21 billion Thats £21,000,000,000

@@mark.k7206 There is a lot wasted across their whole network. Fuel, overtime and plenty of publicity errors that pale in significance to printing PACE.

It seems that in this day & age with cameras everywhere the Police are no longer taken at face value & evidence of wrongdoing is becoming a major cost. The higher it goes, the more those in authority will start to ask why the Individuals concerned should not be liable for these abuses. In a world where an Individual officer would pay the legal bills including Solicitor fees will be a world where we will have less abuse

Shocking,disrespectful staff. You simply press print full document when you go onto the legislation so that staff member was talking rubbish! Did you file a complaint.? What was the outcome?

What is it with receptionists? 90% of them seem unfriendly and hostile and seem to lack basic customer service skills
They believe they are regal an we are the peaseants and believe they are untouchable. Do you think for one minute if they had any re percussions for their attitude they would treat the public like that?

I miss me mams Sunday dinners so much. I can do them pretty well but seems daft…it’ll cost me more to heat the hopeless retro stove from the 1970’s….. My only problem is while I get the plate and cutlery ready and me cat’s mini posh saucer is hoping I don’t get a proper ultra creepy Uber driver. If your going to audit places like these you need to look at how other people do it. i.e. stop going there with an attitude and calling them what they have heard probably a million times before. If you did that job and someone like you came in barking out orders and being abusive would you go out of your way to help and before you say its their legal duty to help yes I already know this.

Our public sector, servant's have forgotten thier positions in society. The contempt we get from all sectors of public office is beyond a joke and needs sorting out.
Pretty inconsiderate to assume everyone has free and easy internet access. They shouldn't be surprised if a member of the public wants a copy printed.

I did security at the tower blocks across from there we would triple 9 and it would take over 2 hours at times they are useless

UK police cost roughly £21 Billion per annum. Going up year on year for less crime solved. Their wages go up, for less "productivity". Not really good value.
I watch quite a few audits and am always amazed by the amount of police vehicles sat in car parks doing nothing at tax payers expense, some stations look to have more cars and vans than staff.
@@SnakePliskin762 No entirely, it's included. Plus all the new cars, other equipment. Whatever it costs its too much to pay an organisation that is unfortunately not very good. If they were privately funded, they would be bankrupt, based on their results. Unsustainable really.
However, the public pay for woeful performance, so doesn't matter to the police as a whole. They haven't shareholders to answer too. If they did, there would be massive changes. They don't even have to know the job they do to do it. Staggering. Yet they are responsible for collecting evidence to withdraw liberty, all they are good for is collecting a wage at the end of the month, which they appear to be good at.
@@SnakePliskin762 I agree on that point. However, let's face facts, the NHS, do try to save lives when they can, fair enough the odd Shipman pops up. Yet the Police go out of their way to abuse their position. They arrest people on false charges, make up laws that hopefully will fit. They Tazer people doing nothing, their mates stand idly by. If you end up in the cells, there is no guarantee a person will make it out of there, whether guilty or not.
If you were treating them with a little respect then they will treat you with respect.Well done the officers....
