Swiss guy here, the picture u put with the guy looking into the riffle Canon, we do it also in Swiss army and civil competitions it's called "contrôle du canon blanc " in French part, we do it before we go shoot to see if there is nothing that can obstruct the Canon after the cleaning, like grease or so. So I did very very often did the same as the guy on the picture 😂🤷
I saw a documentary about how Switzerland had a culture for firearms like the us, but had much better regulations for said guns. I remember seeing a dude look in the barrel and think, thats just like the army in Denmark. We do that too, if you don't want to look down your own barrel. It is not say ♥️ Thank you for the comment
