We like the relaxed vibe of your video. As frequent visitors of both Gran Canaria & Tenerife we are eager to explore further and are planning a couple of months in the Canaries exploring. La Gomera looks less commercial and beautiful. Definitely on our list of islands to visit. As Brits we're not bothered what nationality the majority of visitors are, happy to mix and explore different languages & cultures. We are hoping to bring our motorcycles to explore and love the mountain roads. Appreciate the work you've put into your video and will check out your other content. Best wishes Richard and Carol
Appreciate your comment. You guys are also travel creators, so you exactly know how much effort and time goes into every video. I highly recommend La Gomera. It is possibly the best island for a relaxed, but yet an adventurous life. Everyone is welcomed there and there is no real aversion between people. I just cited what I found in the internet, though, it was quite funny. You are gonna have a blast there. And for the motorcycle touring ... just a perfect riding conditions and so safe.
What I particularly liked about this video was its slower pace in the sections describing the nature and the heights. This way what the story was showing could be felt also, in a way, and not only seen. The places and the views could not only be appreciated visually, but also contemplated. I guess the choice of music had some role in it, too :) Great job!
Thank you for your valuable comment. I was afraid that the pace will be sometimes too slow and boring, as a result, but if it wasn't, well I'm glad. The montage of slower paced moments it's much faster then the rapid sections. Then I'm gonna implement it more frequently if possible. Thank you for being here and supporting the channel since the start🙏
Thank you Janet, for this beautiful vidéo about La Gomera❤️❤️❤️ Yes, this island is a magical one, due to all the diversity that it offers, wether from landscapes or climate or food or music or alternative activities based on well being and self-reconnection or people that come from all horizons and that share common interests which are wild nature and freedom from a chaining system that lost touch with the essentials of happiness. I hope to be able to be back one day with my boat Ganesha⛵ 🌈🌈🌈🌈🦋🦋🦋🦋🌊🌊🌊⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️ QUE VIVA LA GOMERA !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks a lot for your comment. I couldn't put La Gomera's vibe into better words. I'm grateful for all the nice beaches, hiking trails, hippie culture and wonderful atmosphere I have experienced during my short stay in La Gomera
Been a solo traveller to La Gomera for the past five years. I tend to go November/December, just to get some warm sunshine to brake up the long Winter months
My favourite island. Very welcoming for solo travellers. So easy to run casual conversations with strangers on the streets. Not many places like that in the "so called" first world. Enjoy your winters.
Thanks for great insight and info about Valle Gran Rey. I really enjoyed the hippie vibe at the beach and the stunning views from the mountain hike. Keep going girl!!!!
i was just there for a month. seen the local buses filling up and the locals unable to get on, so the statement about hippies and germans has an element of truth. If you go there just be mindful for the local people. its a wonderful place.
It is a wonderful place indeed. And the vibe, the free spirit, the freedom of living as if there was no tomorrow... Is truly one of a kind culture. My favourite island
"Hippies, Germans and Locals that hate them both". I'm sorry, but that is not a fact. That's totally false. I grew up there and trust me, we get along with Germans well. Most of my friends have a german father or mother, who moved to the island in the 70s, 80s, or 90s, fell in love with a local and had children. Or their parents are both Germans and simply moved there and raised their children there. We are an open community, most people make a living from tourism. Don't put the germans in the same bag as the "hippies", which are mostly rich DADDY's and MOMMY's european guys and girls, who go there to pretend to be homeless and basically act like there is no public order or they arrived to the jungle, set up their tents within protected natural spaces like Playa del Inglés or Charco del Cieno, and in general don't mix with our beautiful town way of living (which is diverse and peaceful by itself, it's been so since the 60s, when the real hippies started coming). Sorry but no hate torwards the germans nor the tourists in genral, just inmature rich kids messing up a beautiful place. (and local authorities not giving a f#|k).
You are completely right. I'm gomera and i'm married to a german. He lives perfectly integrated in the small village where i grew up. But those false hippies... Uf! They destroy the natural places that my ancestors preserved and expulse us from them. A nightmare.

Wow imagine thinking that people living in nature are the problem and not u, destructive consumer who cant survive without tones of cement surrounding
