- What's going on my UA-cam fam?!? Today I have an in depth comparison between two titan of balls! The @BowlMOTIV Fatal Venom and the Venom Shock! The Fatal is a TRUE pearl version of the Shock, Which is a VERY good thing!!

Great, in depth comparison as always. Love the look of this fatal as it rolls. Most of the pearls, other brands that I have, don't blend the wet/dry well and as a result, the over/under is crazy. This looks to be a move in the right direction for me
I’m a HUGE fan of this Infusion pearl cover! Wrapped with the gear core is EASY math !
Good video. I love my Venom Shock. I rarely need anything weaker than it. Still search for a good step up, but that another story. Really looking forward to your surface video for the Fatal Venom. I tend to use surface on most of my bowling balls. Keep the videos coming.
I’m really excited for that surface video on the fatal. Don’t be mistaken though the fatal isn’t weaker, just longer and more angular
@@LuisNapoles I know that's usually the case. Until I take the polish off a bowling ball I can't even throw it as it will just usually not read the lane properly for me. A lot of times once I change the surface of balls in the same line they react too similarly. I like smoother reacting bowling balls over angular ones as a general rule.
I just shot 300 yesterday with the venom shock. Lol too bad it wasn't in league or a tournament... very intrigued by this ball. Love the ball motion in the shock, however if I get too far left it hits a bit lazy. Hopefully this ball will let me stand further left and have enough angle to get back. Lou love your videos. Any suggestions on a layout would be appreciated. The shock is 4 inch pin to pap 30* Val. 2 hander. 19mph off hand, 500ish revs, 50-65* axis rotation and less than 10* tilt. Bowl on THS mainly. If you want to go from the shock to the fatal seamlessly then copy the layout of the shock onto the fatal!
I've been highly considering a motiv. Alot of people have recommended the shock

@@LuisNapoles I’m using a motiv Iron forge. Needing to find a good step down from the iron forge when the forge is too much for the lanes. Would I use the fatal or shock? Not sure which way to go? I bowl exactly like you as far as marks goes
Have mine already pre-ordered excited before seeing this video. After hearing u talk about it and see the video I am even more excited. Bowl on pretty dry lanes on Monday.
This ball I think will be money on lighter volume shots on the fresh. Because it gets into a roll pretty early and still shapes a ton!

@@Mista808 Fatal Venom correct? If so I LOVE this ball. It is one of my favorites for where I bowl. I threw back to back 707s with it and then an 658. Always in my bag. Gives some length but still breaks a good bit on correct shot.
I have only had my Venom Shock for 5 weeks now. 3 weeks started using it only for league bowling, all 3 games. My average has increased by 14 pins in the 3 weeks. I am definitely thinking of the fatal.
Nice bowling !! Shock is sooooo good ! The fatal is a true pearl version of the Shock !
I bowl with the original roto idol and motiv venom fatal, I use the fatal when there’s a lot of oil on the lanes especially at tournaments and use the roto when the lanes are dryer and I also use it for spares

Venom shock is awesome, easy to control as long as you get it out..it also will read the middle of the lane and not jump and cut through if there is enough volume of oil..only negative is you cant stand super left on a fresh shot, it wont come back around...when i do miss with it, it usually is a split...i find keeping ball speed up also works with the venom shock
Well it’s still a medium ball that’s why you can’t start super left with it. But I have found myself being able to get super left with the shock. There’s a video dropping in 3.5 hours that you’re gonna love !
Don't have a shock but you recommend me a recoil and I love that, and with 2 fatals on the way I'm pretty excited 😁

Speed dominant bowlers typically need stronger cover stocks so If I was you I would look into the Jackal Legacy 100%
I would love it if you put down last years (2019) USBC team oil patterns and “build an arsenal” for this years event in Vegas. Your ball speed and rev rate look pretty similar to mine (17.5 mph / 450 rpm), and I am a diehard Motiv guy so it would be very helpful to me personally.
As we get closer to Nationals I will def make that happen
I have both, the shock is drilled pin under for more midlane control, the fatal is drilled stronger, pin over my ring finger. That ball is FAST off the friction.

At the 2:36 mark you show your layout for the Fatal Venum as 50 X 4.5 X 30, but your audio says you chose 50 X 4.5 X 40. Could you let us know which one was correct? The ball looks great!!!!

That’ll all depend on what you’re looking for. One of my teammates on Thursday’s nights in league is one handed no thumb and like to play them a little straighter and he loves his Shock. The fatal is going to be way more down lane. So it all depends on what you’re looking for you know. I wish I could be of more help!
I also have a shock also and love the motion it gives me. Love your videos as we are very similar in style and rev rate.

I really like the VIP affliction! but I think the fatal might be a better option overall. I would still go with the affliction cause I match up so well with it

Like the review. For me i tried the venom shock pearl and didnt like it. Is the fatal better than the venom pearl? It would be nice to see a comparison to why this ball would be a great step down for the venom shock
Personally I didn’t match up with the VSP at all. This fatal is a great great step down from the Shock

I was at my city tournament shot 2000 for 9 games and I when Vip covert Revolt left lane Venom Shock and the covert tank on the right lane

the fatal venom looks waaay more angular than the vsp, by a bunch; too angular for my game. the cover on the fatal venom is really strong. og venom shock and vsp shape better for my game. THX FOR SHARING

I'm in line for getting the Fatal Venom. And I want to get the Coral Blue Venom Shock. I am a 500rpm rev rate. I am a 2 finger 1 handed right hand bowler. I bowl on a medium, to low house shot in Ontario Canada.

Oof those balls are soooooo different. The fatal will hook substantially more and way more angular. The Desert will be earlier and smoother

5:45 This shot reminds me of yesterday 🤣🤣 Had the front 8 with my Alpha Jackal, and threw the ball and left a pocket 8-10. Struck out in the 10th for 266. Just why 🥺

Hey Luis or anyone else, I'm having a hard time picking between these two balls. I'd like a ball that is versatile and can use anytime on a THS if I'd like to, but I also am looking to get a ball that works well once the lanes dry out. I bowl more stroker style, average 16 mph and probably around 300 rpms maybe. I just bowled in a tournament of 7 games long and the lanes were dry to begin with, so by 5th frame and on there was nothing left to it. I was wondering which ball would probably work better, the shock or fatal in your opinion. Looking to stay more middle and throw around 3rd arrow still, not move left and create a large angle to get it into the pocket. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

You could do that yea just make sure that you knock the shine off. That or you can go with a ripcord flight. But prob the fatal with surface would be better

Venom shock is good, when I was throwing the venom shock pearl at demo day it was good just went a little longer and a little more angle then the shock solid. but I threw both in the same place . But the only pearl I have right now is the venom panic. All my venoms the shock the cobra and the panic all have the same layout pin in palm.

That’ll depend if you’re getting early hook or not. If you’re getting early hook then the Supra will be better. If not then the Fatal will be better

The release date on both balls was pushed back to 12/9 because of the overwhelming orders received on both balls

And yes I've had 2 venom shocks one I retired this year due to having EJ Tacket and the rest of the pro's from a pro am absolutely love the shock line though with the jackal line
If I had one I’d toss it in a video but I don’t have one and it’s discontinued. However the reactions wouldn’t be close at all. The VSP will be substantially less ball overall longer and smoother. The Fatal will be earlier more angular and more ball

I tried to focus on the review of both of these balls but I was too busy disgusted with how ugly that bowling jersey is.
Like it honestly can't get any uglier than that. There's no way that's a men's jersey? Please don't wear that jersey ever

Thats interesting..... well for 1 I am no longer on staff with logo infusion so yea you'll never see either of those jerseys again and for 2 I actually really loved those jerseys and now I will purposely find a floral design for upcoming videos LOL
Might I make a suggestion? Less talking while doing nothing, and instead voiceover actually rolling the ball instead. Having to skip the first 4 minutes of all of your videos is pretty tiring. Don't get me wrong, it's good information to know, I'm just suggesting changing the delivery.
I've heard both ways of that argument to be honest. A lot of people also like the vlog style format that I use. But I do appreciate the feedback 100%
