What software did you use to make this so beautiful and how did you do it? I just bought a GP Hero 11 Black and used the same settings you listed in a similar video and my footage does not look as sharp, nor does it have the high "motionflow" (which makes it look like I am seeing it with my actual eyes) your video has. A lot of waiting for the right light conditions. 60fps 2.7 k 4:3 mode protune -0.5 exposure, sharp medium min iso 400 ,gopro colour. Edited only in quik on a Samsung 8. A camera lens was dry and absolutely clean.

Matt Nelson one extra paddle in front. In case someone breaks a paddle out at sea. These are islands. Easier to paddle back home with a spare paddle than with a broken one. The areas outside of this protected area can be rough.

The video is gorgeous, but the paddling form is painful to watch

:) this is to get a good video. If I paddle normally I usually get drops of water on the lens, especially with high angle strokes. the dept of the water is also 20-50 cm :) If you get a small drop of water on the lens or get it dirty the focus will be slightly off. That is why I mostly film in calm conditions

Another thing is that you can not move too much with the camera mounted on the helmet. The stabilization is good , but if you paddle normally the video will not be good. Same thing as walking with a stabilization gimbal, to get the best stabilization you have to walk carefully and avoid sudden movements
