I love to listen to these in the background while I'm playing stuff myself. It's like the good old days of Lan parties when things are winding down and everyone's just playing their own stuff before people go to bead or leave.
Funny not so funny story about RDX... One time in Afghanistan we were tasked with doing demo on a hillside in order to widen a road and eliminate a known blind spot that was used for IED strikes. Anyway we had to make demo charges that could be put down bore holes, to blast the hillside. We had to crush up the explosive(RDX) so that it could be put into 16.5oz water bottles that we taped together to make makeshift bangalore torpedos(if you know, you know). That stuff made us sooo sick, caused nasia, vomiting and bloody noses. The demo mission was a success, but who knows what the exposure to that will do long term.
I picked this game up on sale last week and I've been having an absolute blast with it. I decided to be a wizard and I've found out that magic in this game is RIDICULOUSLY POWERFUL. Start off spamming the spell Harm to solve most problems, end up teleporting around the world at will, nuking enemies with fireballs before they even notice me, and scaring the shit out of half the shop owners in the game because their inventory of technological gadgets started buzzing and sparking just because I'm in the same room as them. This game is a masterpiece.
welcome to the world of harm - it is very harmful^^ but yeah magic is really powerful...your only limiter is how much fatigue you have left, so carry potions potions potions because you cant pass time everywhere^^
The Dog has 8 intelligence, making him at least as smart as many of the other companions in the game. For comparison, Sogg has only 3 intelligence and Virgil has 7 (when you recruit him). Virgil has, canonically, spent most of his life being less smart than The Dog.
Ah, Tex, there's one thing about honest gifts you did not grasp: they are not about the gift you get. If you get stuff from someone, it's not really about the stuff, but about you showing genuine happiness towards the giver. This is in fact the actual gift that brings joy to everyone.
I believe that one measure of the success of the Gentleman Arsonist, is when you have your own molds commissioned at the glassworks for your signature Molotov bottles
The Womble recycling mission to turn the things people throw away into the things to blow people away. Yes, explosives do work on sneks- just Australian things
1:32:42 - That brandy looks almost exactly like a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP. Weird that I recognized that, of all things. 2:04:05 - Alright, that "King of the Boil" bit got me good.
That questline can start so nonchalantly too that it's easy for people to forget they even started it. A story complex enough to be the main plot of an entire game and they made it so easy for players to never stumble across it.
Outward, Tex needs to be shown outward, it is scuffed as fuck but has so much to roam around and just take everything in. It is such a good game and worth playing solo and coop. Mike and Tex might really enjoy it.
Can anyone tell me where to find the picture at the beginning of this video or the name of the artist? Been seeing it in BPL streams for years but haven't been able to find it as an image anywhere.
I was too busy when KOTOR was new, so I entirely missed it. Been meaning to give it a go, but just never got around to it. Way things are going, I don't want to give Disney any money, so I'll have to just sit back and watch.
ah the booze shipment ya lost was the one taken by the gang or something. there's an alternate route to complete that mission out on the main tarant bridge.
the crate of ale specifically is what was dropped and lost it's a quest for joining clan Maug which you slaughtered so it shouldn't do much other than make the quest for the chick in the bar incompletable.
Baldur's Gate III is NOT Baldur's Gate... It is Divinity Original Sin III, and not as great a game as people believe it is. As a HUGE Baldur's Gate Fan, I do not like BG3 at all... No...
So BPL runs.the Grift stream for a solid week, then takes the proceeds to purchase the Battletech IP.
Good luck getting all the digital rights back.
I would genuinely love to see a player review of that game by the cast of the BPL.

Home made bangalores. How I miss those.
Tim Cain recently had put up a video talking about what he's do different if a remake of Arcanum was ever in the offing.
Stream starts at 6:05 (edited to be more precise)
Been waiting a whole week for this. Always a good stream, always a pleasure to hear the boys ramble and jabber.

Teleport really is a wonderful thing, but I just can't help me tech-nomancy.

DOG is of the breed known as the Australian Blue Heeler. a sheep and cattle dog known for their extreme intelligence, endurance and toughness
The Dog has 8 intelligence, making him at least as smart as many of the other companions in the game. For comparison, Sogg has only 3 intelligence and Virgil has 7 (when you recruit him).
Virgil has, canonically, spent most of his life being less smart than The Dog.
Fireball at your feet is absolutely a valid tactic. My 5E warlock made it standard procedure. (failing to be sneaky in melee and defaults to fireball)

6:04 - Mr. Tex, Mr. Mike and Mr. Goat join the stream!
6:25 - The video game stream begins to be shown on screen.

every time arcanum is mentioned I shed a little tear of joy
The Castle is there Tex, it's just a tad closer to town.
1:32:42 - That brandy looks almost exactly like a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP. Weird that I recognized that, of all things.
2:04:05 - Alright, that "King of the Boil" bit got me good.
Hearing the Space Harrier intro and theme woke me from distraction.
The darkest part of this game is the Half-Ogre questline. Good times.

Oh man, Tex I feel that. I too will be working on my birthday. I will also not tell them it is that day.
Ah, Gabriel Knight. I loved watching Mecha play it with Mike.
Outward, Tex needs to be shown outward, it is scuffed as fuck but has so much to roam around and just take everything in. It is such a good game and worth playing solo and coop. Mike and Tex might really enjoy it.
Cannon--Hey, didn't I see that in 4 other films?
Jesus im 48 Tex you just aged me
How many takes does “Discount Dan” have to do before he nails the delivery he does? I can imagine many a hysterical shoots. 😂
Can anyone tell me where to find the picture at the beginning of this video or the name of the artist?

"That contains my fifty pound fishing pole"
I see that Tex is a fan of Gun Fishing...just don't do it on a boat, that's how you have accidents...
Please Kotor.
This is a good suggestion. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is better!
I was too busy when KOTOR was new, so I entirely missed it. Been meaning to give it a go, but just never got around to it. Way things are going, I don't want to give Disney any money, so I'll have to just sit back and watch.

the important question for a Lewis gun is; .303 Lewis or .30-06 Lewis?

56:32 Where did that suddenly come from?
You own a panzershreck? Is it because somebody once told you the world was gonna roll you?
Was the urban druid lady named Methany?
RDX gonna give it to ya...
He said it! Ratatives!
Tex please more BattleTech content!
Wait…. I missed one?
*shitposting intensifies*
