Now, I understand why so many people are not happy with this ending,,, an open ending that you don’t know what really happen ? She will be always be remain a HE? She will return from her retreat as the Lady Kang Hee-soo? How they are going to live together for the eternity,,, if she still a HE to the eyes of the country? I really like this historical drama,,,, Jo Jung-suk is an absolutely and demonstrated a great actor and doesn’t matter the scrip, he will mastered. Great King! Absolutely great!!! Shin Se-kyung was really as well and good here,,,, But,,,, I don’t think she was as the same level of Jo Jung-suk. Her wondering, spacing, looking the invisible world of her, always moisture on her eyes,,, to me,,, her eyes where the down side of her… I will not trust someone with that wondering eyes….. she was very talkative and demonstrated quick thinking and some intelligence,, she was mute when the moment required for her to speak up…. Most probably, the women in that time,,, where not permitted to show affection, and her kisses and hugs where just like that… a pole body and a borrow lips…. I wonder when they had intimated connection (twice!) Better not even imagine that…… I will give for that reason,,, only a 9 ⭐️ to this drama… What do you think of the ending?
Damned frustrating. Why on earth would the Qing prince wants mongwoo for? To play baduk? Duh … if it weee so it would be so lame unless there is a twist plot.
