Shoutout to the housekeepers who knew what Edward was yet had the balls to check on Bella everyday to make sure she was alive, despite their terror, despite knowing that they could meet their death prying! They are the real heros in this scene and in the books, examples of people who aren't bystanders no matter what! They put their concern for a stranger over their own lives, just to check on her everyday, despite being scared shitless of Edward as vampires were blood sucking demons in their culture and religion, and they knew exactly what he was pretty much immediately, as vampires are prominent in their cultural knowledge and they know he doesn't eat. I don't know if they show it in the movies but in the books a female housekeeper is terrified for Bella, checks on her daily to make sure she's alive, and Bella shows her that she's pregnant, and she starts crying and praying in her language in terror for Bella and the 'demon baby' knowing it will kill her

Even if they are terrified if they have no proof of danger it's not this huge deal that your making it out to be. Especially considering they likely couldnt/wouldnt do anything if she turned up there, though the sentiment of them being around for what. they believe are her final days is nice.
It's like a tour guide in Africa even if you are scared you've got a job, besides maybe the books universal vampire laws are different but i dont think they allow any humans to know and just walk away to carry on their lives as before
@@radical9799 They did have proof. In their culture they are well aware straight away that Edward is a "blood sucking demon". They have legends dating back for centuries. That's why Bella tells one of the housekeepers that she's pregnant and she reacts in horror, knowing the baby will tear Bella open. They know what he is to the point where he terrifies them despite trying to show them Bella is safe, the woman comes every single day to check Bella is alive.

Well she was only pregnant for 28 days so every 3 days would be 1 month into pregnancy. If she’s been at the island for 14 days and got pregnant the first day then she’s already 16 weeks along, which is where some people begin to feel fetal movement.

Normally you’re never late, when the wedding was 14 days ago. Because when your cycle is 28 Days ( that’s like most people have) the ovulation is 14 days after your last period, then 14 days later your period comes again. So after 14 days, today should be the day her period shows… that’s not being late.

So silly. When I was pregnant I didn't feel movement until about 24 weeks. Bella vomits, realises her period is 1-2 weeks late, and then all of a sudden she feels 'movement'? Yes, probably your guts moving from the indigestion/vomiting 😂
The baby was half vampire/ half human so it grew at a rapid rate so she could already feel movement. Her pregnancy was only a few weeks long due to how fast the baby developed.

FYI: ALWAYS COOK CHICKEN AT LEAST 165 degrees. A meat thermometer is a blessing to have. I purchased a $3.00? one at Walmart because I've gotten sick twice, every year, from undercooked food, but since checking my food with it, I've been vomit free for 4+ years so far, LOL.

I think this was the film that not even the fans could defend. Even from a mythology perspective, a vampire having a child with a human is very poor writing.
Anyone else know mythology and vampires don't have reflections, yet Edward clearly does?
@@marykatesullivan5279 Vampires having no reflection is a misconception to a point. They only have no reflection in mirrors made out of blessed silver. Hence why they would have no reflection. Mirrors without the blessed silver would allow the vamps to have a reflection in them

When you are feeding yourself, and a half-breed baby vampire. You are going to have pregnancy cravings for protein products like chicken, and peanut butter. Even though the chicken could have been cooked through better than it was. She was too hungry at the time to finish the cooking of the chicken, and ate it half raw which made her sick.
