Thank you Lindee for sticking with me while I was trying to register on your site. I appreciate all your help and can't wait to get started making the ITH zipper pouches.
LOVE the idea of the lining overlap for turning the bag! That is so much more creative and easier than the other zipper bag patterns I have done. I think I will try that with just one layer. I am glad you saved time not showing the stitch out. :-) .
THANKS! I don't know why people think they have to watch something like this sew. It's just a straight stitch each time. I really hate that part in similar videos, especially if they don't speed it up and we have to watch it in real time. I will show the sewing from time to time but it means resetting the camera tripod (a floor model and our space is very tight where we film), adjusting all the lights and moving tables. Not worth it for 30 seconds of sewing and then having to move everything back. Now if I were charging for this class, I would go to the extra trouble!
Hi Lindee! I really enjoyed this video because of all of your tips, like making a little ramp out of tape for the foot to glide over. The fact that you can be creative in the choosing of fabric, selecting zippers, using accents, making pockets etc is what I really enjoy. No two bags ever have to be the same. I've made similar bags in the hoop that I created in Premier+ software. I've also used Inspira brand In-R-Form for some padding. Thank you so much for making this video. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I used Bosal In-R-Foam on the dark purple quilted one. I used that on all the phone/glasses slip cases and only had enough left for the front panel. On the colored flower I used Warm and Natural but you can barely tell. I really like adding the interfacing because it adds more structure and makes the bag wear longer. I really wanted to show how versatile a basic bag could be just with simple steps!
Sales do get repeated. If you're signed up for the newsletter, you'll be notified. When I list a coupon in a video, I generally try to keep them active for a very long time.
Batting itself is not stable enough to use by itself. There are stabilizer+batting products on the market, such as "Battalizer" but I haven't used them.
Does this coupon code still work when ordering this set of designs? Just tried it and it says it is unknown. However, I tried it prior to putting billing info in, etc. Would that be the problem?
I checked just to be sure. It's still active. It's product specific so it has to see the product in the cart. So you're guess is probably right - put it in when you are ready to check out.
I'm trying to register on your website so I can purchase the bag designs from this video tutorial but I keep getting the error message: Access Forbidden allowUserRegistration in joomla disabled. I've tried using both the IE browser and the Chrome browser and get the same message. I was hoping to practice making these bags this weekend.
This typically means you've created an account but haven't confirmed it yet. UA-cam is not the place for me to provide help on this. Use the contact form of the website and I can check your account.
Thank you, I did send an email through the contact form on your website, just reaching out everywhere possible. Thank you again for your quick response.
This was a great video however we saw NO actual stitching on the embroidery machine. It was hard to understand how it worked. I don't understand why that was skipped. Otherwise it was good.
That's not the only issue. It would have meant repositioning the camera for every shot at the machine. These things already take a long time to script, prepare, film, edit, review, etc. and I'm doing it all on my own dime.
That part is pretty boring and is all programmed in. You just attach the hoop and press the button. Besides, it would make the video too long. The important steps are the ones I showed.
- I would have like to seen that also - though I've done these types of zipper bags . . I like to see what type of embroidery machine peeps use - it gives me an idea for when I am ready to upgrade to a machine that takes a much larger hoop -- but otherwise a very good viddy :)
Thanks. I'm using a Baby Lock Ellisimo, one of the first ones. When I have to switch angles from the machine to the front table, we have to move the camera. It's already time-consuming enough to film an edit these things and I knew the video was already going to be long. On videos where the machine technique is important, then I do move the camera. Here the important stuff is what you do in the hoop and that's better seen without the machine in the way.
I tried to place an order for the zip bags and use the coupon, but it wouldn't work. If it's not a valid coupon, you need to remove it from this video. Very annoying.
This coupon is good until the year 2025. Unless we've suddenly advanced in time and it's no longer 2018, the coupon is still good. It may not work with other coupons and it won't work if you've previously used it 3 times.
That would require resetting the camera every time I stitch and then moving it back after. If I had a studio with multiple cameras I could have done that. This is my dining room. Plus it would make the video too long. There's really nothing all that interesting going on in the machine. Just straight stitching and you can see what happened afterwards. The important parts are placing everything properly.
Yes they do and that's why I skipped it. They also leave out the important parts that I showed here. I see them just throwing wrinkled fabric into the hoop.
Great video, thank you. I haven’t made a zipper pouch with my embroidery machine yet.

So glad we got it worked out! Thank YOU for being patient!
I know it is pretty off topic but does anybody know a good place to watch new movies online ?

I wasn't able to find your collection on the site, is that still available?
Download designs: lindeegembroidery.com/shop/single-zip-ith-id-holder-or-bag-detail
This is exactly what I needed to learn. I have made zippered bags and never liked the inside where the seams raw edges were. THANK YOU!!!

Love this video!!! So many GREAT tips! Thank you.
Wonder! You make everything so clear. I can wait to try one tomorrow.
I enjoyed your video
Great thank you!!! It's fantastic, I will be sure to sew a handbag.
I already made the snap bag, and I LOVE it! Now I've got to make some of these for sure :)
Thanks Kim! Once you get the process down, these work up pretty fast!
Do you have a video for the double zipper bag
great videos. how do you buy the collection
Will there be another sale on this product - Thank you for your video, love it
Sales do get repeated. If you're signed up for the newsletter, you'll be notified. When I list a coupon in a video, I generally try to keep them active for a very long time.
I was also expecting (hoping) to see the actual stitching happen in the machine but otherwise very good video. Thank you for sharing!

Did I miss something beside the actual stitchig? Where do I buy he pattern?
See the full description above - there are links.
RFID fabric? WOW!
Instead of stablizer can you put batting
Batting itself is not stable enough to use by itself. There are stabilizer+batting products on the market, such as "Battalizer" but I haven't used them.
Would really liked to have seen the sewing.
can the larger bag be made on a brother pe770?
Is that a 5x7" hoop? If so, only the 2 smallest sizes can be sewn on that machine.
Id love to purchase these if we can get that coupon going again 😊
The coupon only works when the product isn't already on sale. Currently the sale price is lower than what you'd pay with the coupon.
oh okay, thank you!
so is that 14.95 for the whole collection or one size?
Thanks for pointing this out to me. I updated the link to go to the set. I can't include a link in a reply. The set is currently $19.95 (reg 39.95)
Why was the lining on the back overlapped instead of one piece? Is it a secret pocket?
It's how I turn it right side out.
@@LindeeGVideos THAT is ingenious!! I love it!!

When did you send it? I'm not seeing any Contact Submissions I haven't answered.
Today, I'll try to send it again.
I just resent it, however, I have not received any auto replies from the contact form after sending it. Is there possibly a problem with your site?
What happened to the audio?
This was a great video however we saw NO actual stitching on the embroidery machine. It was hard to understand how it worked. I don't understand why that was skipped. Otherwise it was good.
The stitching on the machine is not the hard part and if I had included that part, it would be way too long.
LindeeGVideos it could, have been fast forwarded to save time.

LindeeGVideos I understand. It would just have been nice. It was still a great video. I learned a great deal from it.
What’s up with the audio? It’s all staticky!
I was expecting to see the actual sewing in the hoop. Otherwise, very interesting. I haven't done these before.

LindeeGVideos a lot of people do it.... check out some of your fellow machine embroidery fans out there.... have a great week

Disappointed...wanted to see her using the machine
sound is BAD
