Again a first class instructional video which can save hundreds of dollars per year on maintenance good photos and clear precise instructions Big thank you for taking time to upload much appreciated
You're like the Masked Magician of auto mechanics. You're practically a one handed mechanic. Filming while you disassemble a complex assembly. Impressive!
Thanks for putting this together! I too own a 1994 E320 with only 49k miles, and the vent airflow is very low and I always wondered if it needs a new cabin filter and now I know that it does..
Good on you for demonstrating how to do this job .It would have taken me ages if I had not looked at your video. Cheers, Rob. PS I had not changed my filters for as long as I have had this car (13 years) and they were toxic!
I found this video while searching for just this thing, i had no idea how to replace it, and it sounded like you needed to do alot more work on the inside, but now i know how, thanks :)
i guess im asking randomly but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Dennis Connor Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
A great video. Can you tell me the part number on the rain screen catch cover that is over the filter? The left side drivers side cover is broke and there is no part number on either one.
I have a 1993 300E 2.8 I noticed the plastic coolant "Y" above and inboard the brake booster from 1:43 to 1:45. On my car, the Y exploded, and lost the coolant. I had to cut most of the lower hose off the new Y and use a connector to join and re-use most of the old one , because it disappears behind the engine somewhere, and I could not see to where it attaches, even from under the car!!! Does anyone know where the bottom hose from the Y connects?
Thanks for this. I just did mine on my recently acquired S124 E320 this evening following your guide. Guess what I found? Mine had no filter in place at all !!! As a further tip, for anyone with a right hand drive car like me, I'd just like to add that the access and insertion is on the SAME side as shown in your video....and not on our driver's side.
Oh man... they had to make it so complicated... next year, in that very series, they made the w210 where you just unclip 4 latches with your hands and off it goes in 3 seconds!

good video. i just bought a used 1994 mercedes 320. i will store this away for future use.
All of your videos are great... Thanks for posting.
Perfectly understandable English. :)
GREAT! The arrow is probably indicating the way up, not the airflow direction.
Thank You very much sir, your knowledge is deeply appreciated!

Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Tony Sutton Happy to help :)
To be perfect, you should do a disinfection of the system as well. There are special cleaners for this purpose.
Very usefull !! Thank you very much!! Greetings from Italy

In my salon constantly blowing hot air, what do I do?
What a pain in the rear just to replace cabin filters.
Merci beaucoup
Is that the same for the 92 300e?
pain in the bombola
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You probably have a vacuum leak at the climate control vacuum valve or the valve is bad. Google the following: W124ClimateVacuumValve
Thanks for this.

The intentionally complicate exchange trying to get you to the dealer instead of DIY.
❤Thank you very much for this information
شكراً جزيلاً على هذه المعلومات.❤
Keep posting more w124 fix videos!
Great informative video. Need to do this on my 93 300D. My Mercedes mechanic friends told me it was quite complicated, but you make it look easy.
Will try to do this on my 93 300ce as soon as I get the filters, great video. Thank you
Great video big help thank you !
