I meet a young guy the other day and five minutes in I say to him "you care too much about what people think about you". I have that addiction too Owen.
I think you’re the only one putting out this kind of message around both execution and transcendence. I hear what you’re saying with running from pain and it almost makes me afraid because i’ve been in the pushing mode for like 2 years with fantasies of money, travel, and doing photography with no financial pressures. But i don’t really know what motivates me on a transcendent level. I just want to make money so i can have the things i need and want and then maybe do something for the sake of pure “meaningfulness” later on.
At the same time, even meaningful work is impermanent. And meaningful is just an idea. So i think to myself “this is just what im drawn to right now” and just be at peace with that and keep hustling.
I guess i just feel unsure with how laser focused i am on money to a degree that i wasn’t at all when i was younger in college and before… so like sometimes i wonder if its slowly poisoning me. Ya know coming from a christian background where greed was deemed evil.
On your path, would you change anything in hindsight if you could? Or do you think your younger self needed to go through that mexico trip and shit to get to where you are now?
When you’re looking to someone for advice, ask yourself if they are living a life that you want.
It sounds like you know what you want, and you’re just not sure if you can have it.
I think that’s most of us. Certainly, I am going though this, myself.
The truth I’ve found is you can’t get to where you want to be by doing things you don’t want to do. The best you can do is get to a place you thought you want to be, for which you have to continue to do things you don’t want to do to stay there.
How do you know what you want? You have to listen to yourself. Listen and ask why over and over and over. What you find might surprise you, if you keep going past the convenient, plausible answers.

Solid statement. I've eliminated all the distractions since 2020.slowly yet surely and I look at it as prep work. Cutting off toxic people and everything that people didn't even know but myself. Full transparency. It's what I was.told when I asked what do I do. I also asked a parallel universe version of myself who did all the right moves that I didn't looking back to help me and I'm telling you I think it helped a ton. So I'm coming to a place where I'm just waiting while maintaining and chipping away at the version I have seen in my mind since I was young. Preparation meeting the right opportunities is fertile ground for our what next's. Hope this helps as much as your perspective. Part of my core identity is curiosity and collecting all ideas and let it settle and attach if it seems to stick organically ❤

@@user-so8pf2gl5v for people who already know what they want, who have the will power, but have something in the way that isnt ACTUALLY that big of a deal, this video will clear out the obstacles.
For the first hour, I thought to myself as Owen spoke “Owen, it’s different for me. I have xyz reason for not being able to do what I already want, and what I already have the will power to do”
(In my case, the only thing I desire, is to eat healthy, and to exercise.)
Most people have an issue with eating healthy, exercise, working, etc.
As Owen said, I don’t vibe with that. I never understood why people were like that. I thought it’s because people didn’t know what they want.
So I’d ask people what they wanted and they’d give me a nihilistic response.
And Owen is wrong about some things I think. It doesn’t take going somewhere to achieve our highest potential.
The following process will do that for all who are approved by their doctor for it.
A 1 minute walk warm up, then 4 sets of: 3 minute jog, 1 minute sprint, 1 minute walk.
This will change your life, if your doctor says you’re healthy enough to try that.
You will need 8 hours of sleep, you will need proper water. You will need to fight fully against light & noise pollution during your 8 hours.
You will need to eat perfectly healthy. Hunger is the best spice. Eventually the food tastes good over time.
You will likely need a reason to start all of this at first. For me it was love.
But then after I did it for a long time, i never forgot it.
In the mornings, you can have a delicious fruit smoothie with protein powder mixed in. Blender cleans are quick look up how 2 on UA-cam. This really hits the spot and will keep you full for a few hours.
There is nothing like this life. It does not take a lot of money. If you meal prep, it can be around the same time itd had taken to get fast food.
And if you order through food delivery, you can often be waiting a very long time, longer than expected, even if you leave high tips every time.
Owen taught me to implement certain mushrooms from wholefoods too. I take them in pill form. I take cordyceps and chaga in the mornings, reishi in the evenings (all suppliments only to be taken if dr approves you for them)
Do this with a proper dental routine.
If you follow all of this advice, you will save time, your teeth will be healthier, you’ll be in great shape (if you also add healthy rice for carbs during bulk phase) (if you also add strength training that your doctor says you are healthy enough for), which if you are wealthy enough you can buy a home gym, but I do notice, if you are truly wealthy (time wealthy), it is worth it to sacrifice time to go to the gym to get a competitive nature
And most importantly you won’t feel dead inside anymore
And if you don’t get the nutrition & proper quality sleep that may drastically change your quality of life & ability for all of this to work
You can give a plant nutrition but if you stress it too much that might be bad for it
