All this info is so on point. When I started to do the stuff outside the gym Matt recommended, it was a game changer for stuff in the gym, but I also started feeling better in my day to day life.
Thanks for being here my friends!!! Please repost and share these videos around 🙏🙏🙏 I could sure use your help with the channel and getting quality information out in this industry If you would like to help more- we have patreon where these videos get funded www.patreon.com/wenningstrength
Wenning warmups are a must! Sleep and light exposure are on point. I need to stop being a mental midget and incorporate more regular deloading! Thanks for the info Matt!
Deloading and working your weak points are SO important for long term gains! Being objective about this and leaving my ego out of my training has been nothing but beneficial for my progress. Great content as always Matt!
I fell off when I stopped applying your knowledge man it's nice to get a reminder gotta get back to it and get that 400 pound to a lift that I was after
I can’t tell you how much appreciate that the info in this video. It’s absolutely all of the things folks need to be thinking about to truly get strong. Thanks Matt!!
Ive applied the shoulder pain fix movements you suggested in another video plus the 4x25 bands warm ups and my over head press has become pain free. Looking forward to hitting my pre covid 1rm down the track. I take down time too. Its very effective. Im 50 and work full time in a moderately physical job. Still strength training, and doing sled work. Thanks for the elite coach info. Pure gold no PT will ever know.
Brother, I know I tell you on almost every video but your videos and info for the past three years has been game changing for me since applying almost all of it to myself. Hope to still take that trip down from Michigan before I go into the academy in 5 months! -Craig
Being a “mental midget” as you stated has been my biggest downfall. The only way I can avoid pounding the same weights all the time is by changing the way I’m doing the exercise.
Great point about deload every 3 to 4 weeks which I'm going to add to my own training. So many sources say 6-8 weeks but I've always felt really beat down by then.
Totally agree, not that Im an expert. Im not. But at 57 I’ve gotten in the course of 3-4 years to where I can bench 250, squat 365, and deadlift 430. I don’t compete, except with myself, and lift purely for health. I deload every 3-4 weeks, which is assisted by travel. I do what I can on deload weeks. Sometimes, it isn’t much. I also give myself a 2-3 month stretch every year where I have no formal program. I lift however I feel, and often stay away from SBD and maybe do some olympic lifting, or just concentrate on things like front squats, or rows.
Long story short Matt’s information on his UA-cam and elite fts podcast opened my eyes. It’s not about what are your goals it’s what are your individual needs, training mindset is just as important as style
Why can’t I be chemically dependent on caffeine and strong? Look, if the rest of my life was in order, I wouldn’t be trying to destroy myself at the gym
Always assessing technique in all exercises is GOLD. You can use all the software you want, but the Coach ‘s eye can never be replaced
Exactly correct from an elite coach like you 🎖🎖🎖🎖

I thought the CNS recovered faster than tissue!
So is it
Muscles fastest
Ligaments&tendons slower
CNS slowest
No it’s load dependent as well
Cns adapts thevwuickestvinly of loading is optimized
Top content again thanks.
